Benefit of this thesis is the objective evaluation of chosen, currently available commercial tools and recommendation for potential buyers. Theoretical part is mainly focused on the definition of terms from the software testing and definition of a specific area, in which the tools for test evaluation are used. Definition of comparison criteria and market analysis will be the focus of the analytical part of this thesis. In practical part, chosen tools are compared and according to the results, the recommendation is made for the purpose of choosing the most fitting tool to increase the effectiveness for software testing. This work also includes the showcase of graphic outputs from the compared tools.
Design and implementation of modules "Phases" and "External app connectivity" for real enterprise project "Time Project" using Angular2 and ASP.NET WEB API frameworks
KORTAN, Michal
The thesis deals with module extension in currently developing project called Time Project 5. Specifically, the Phases, Notification and External Interface module. The thesis is divided into four major chapters. The first chapter introduces theoretical background consisting of backend and frontend technology description. The second chapter serves as determination of customer's expectations in form of functional and nonfunctional requirements gathering. The major focus of the third chapter is on application architecture design of both server and client side together with subcomponents design. Additionally, this chapter is complemented by the data model and Time Project 5 application design. The last, and at the same time, major chapter reveals the actual implementation of mentioned subcomponents including further necessary support features.
Software Development Agile Methods
Dreiseitel, Jiří ; Bartík, Vladimír (referee) ; Kreslíková, Jitka (advisor)
The thesis deals with basic principles of agile software development and describes their advantages compared to the traditional approach. JIRA plugin was designed and implemented base on our mutual agreement. This module extends the current tool for analyzing agile projects, this leads to better support of decision making in the context of agile processes. Benefits and further upgrades are consulted at the end of the thesis.
Design of methodology of administration and management of issues and its application in chosen organisation
Holub, Adam ; Stanovská, Iva (advisor) ; Novák, Tomáš (referee)
This thesis is focused on design methodology of administration and management of issues, using issue-tracking system. The objective is to create such methodology and deploy it to specific organization. During methodology creation, there were used best practices, acquired from source thesis and authors experiences. In theoretical part of thesis are described approaches, witch is this thesis based on. Then thesis describes what issue-tracking system is and lists mostly used issue-tracking systems. In practical part, the methodology itself is created. At first, target group is described. Then, types of issuse and roles used in issue-tracking system are described. Then is described, how to create lifecycle of issue and how to handle with its attributes. Last part is focused on data reporting from issue-tracking system. Last chapter of practical part describes how to implement methodology to issue-tracking system JIRA.

Software Testing Organization and Methods
Kajan, Miroslav ; Kolář, Dušan (referee) ; Kreslíková, Jitka (advisor)
This document's objective is to propose a set of methods for improvement of the organization and methodology of software testing and subsequent application of those in a real environment of the Siemens CZ company. The first part discusses the development models in terms of testing segment and the following section focuses specifically on the methodology of agile testing and development as a whole, including applicable metrics for evaluating various aspects of software exiting the testing phase. The third major section lets the reader get acquainted with the Siemens organization and methods of their software testing and by analyzing real-world project it assesses the strengths and weaknesses of the particular testing process and its management. The practical part of this thesis lies in the design and implementation of a plug-in for the JIRA environment. This tool is able to identify and quantify the long term status of the project phases of agile development and testing in a clear and interactive way, while the outputs are represented by clearly defined problems that can be more easily treated, as one can argue further progress.
Implementation of JIRA in a selected company
Štalmach, Tomáš ; Pour, Jan (advisor) ; Basl, Josef (referee)
This diploma thesis deals with implementation of JIRA in a selected company. The aim of the thesis is to propose solution design for implementation of JIRA in order to support the processes of the company and also eliminate the problems occuring at present. The thesis is divided into three parts. The introduction of section provides a theoretical basis for the thesis, which consists of a description of the essential characteristics ADLM tools, analysis of the current competitors of the company Atlassian, which develops JIRA, and also description of the functionality of JIRA and plugins integrable with JIRA. The beginning of the second part consists of basic information about selected company, the defined processes and problems which new solution should eliminate. The core of practical part includes solution design for implementation of JIRA within the defined processes. The last part deals with the evaluation of implementation, proposal of possible improvements and generalization of experience gained in the implementation.

Subsequently, the theory compares basic features of widely used software. Finally there is created a model project under which is examined work in these programs. The conducted survey shows that while 89% of companies in selected industries use project management software (Ernst and Young), so if we extend the survey to all disciplines of business, software usage falls to 44% (own survey). The results of this study allows reflection on the lack of promotion of the benefits of project management in the fields in which there is not existentially necessary to implement these methods.
