Numerical analysis of stability of retaining structure in cohesive soils
Fejfarová, Aneta ; Račanský, Václav (referee) ; Chalmovský, Juraj (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with numerical modeling of excavation using finite element method in the Plaxis 2D software. Triple-anchored retaining structure is founded in a less permeable cohesive soils. There are described loss of stability, types of the calculation and material model (Hardenig soil model used in the mathematical model) in the theoretical section of this bachelor thesis. Mathematical model of the excavation was described in the practical section of this thesis, specifically first limit state. Part of the thesis is an evaluation of the degree of stability over time, pore pressures and critical shear surfaces.
Preparation of the construction of a rough basement of a residential building in Ivančice
Vokurek, Kamil ; Boháček, Adam (referee) ; Kantová, Radka (advisor)
The subject of the bachelor thesis is a technological project of a rough basement of a residential building in Ivančice. The construction is located in southeast part of Ivančice nearby Brno. The thesis is focused on earthwork and foundation load-bearing structure. The content is filled with technical reports for both phases, wich follows site facilities, budgets, mechanical assembly, inspection and test plan and safety. The thesis also include a comparison of two different possible solutions of the construction of extrernal loadbearing wall, especially time and financial comparison.
Prerequisites and Facts wi the GT Monitoring on the Višňové-tunnel in Slovakia.
Horňáková, Michaela ; Černý,, Vít (referee) ; Horák, Vladislav (advisor)
The bachelor´s thesis is divided to two main parts, from which first is focused on the theory of geotechnical monitoring. The second, practical part deals with tunnel Višňové in the north of Slovakia. It processes the history and technology of construction, geomorphology and geotechnical monitoring, which was approved for tunnel. Finally on the few profiles compares real geotechnical conditionals with prerequisites from exploration gallery.
Design of excavation for reconstruction of shopping centre
Červenka, Jan ; Miča, Lumír (referee) ; Chalmovský, Juraj (advisor)
The thesis is divided into three parts. In the first one it deals with the design and the assessment of the once-anchored soldier pile wall, which provides an excavation for the reconstruction of the shopping centre Prior in Zlín. The retaining structure is designed according to the limit state method, using the GEO5 software and the Excel spreadsheet editor. In the second part, the thesis deals with the price comparison of the classic version of the soldier pile wall with soldier pile, IPN profiles, with over one-pole anchorage with the help of the buckle, with the variant with larger spread, where the soldier pile from the pair of UPN profiles are adapted for anchoring. The third part solves the problem of the distribution of a lateral ground pressures along the length of the soldier pile wall. For comparison with the empirical methods of design of lagging, the results of normal pressure from the mathematical model, solved by the numerical analysis, the finite element method, were used in the Plaxis 3D program. Hardening soil model was used as the material model.
Municipal Sports Hall in Kuřim - construction technology project
Vlasák, Jakub ; Řihák, Pavel (referee) ; Biely, Boris (advisor)
The aim of this diploma´s thesis is the construction and technological salutions to rough construction building municipal sports hall in Kuřim. The content of this work is technological execution, solution to site equipment, design of machanical assemblies sonnected with transport links, checking and test plans, line budget, schedule, calculation of construction, building timetable, safety and protection of enviroment.
Design of excavation in the Brno city centre
Kováč, Vladimír ; Miča, Lumír (referee) ; Chalmovský, Juraj (advisor)
The work deals with the problem of the ultimate and serviceability limit state of a once-anchored retaining structure of an excavation on Krenova street in Brno. The calculation of the ultimate limit state is solved manually and provides an input into the serviceability limit state, which is solved by means of a numerical analysis using a finite element method. To calculate the serviceability limit state, these constitutive models: Mohr-Columb, Hardening soil and Hardening soil small strain model are used.
The Blanka tunnel, geological hazadrs and problems during boring
Sedláček, Václav ; Král, Jan (advisor) ; Lešner, Jeroným (referee)
The Blanka tunnel has two boring sections: Brusnice tunnel and Královská obora tunnel. Both tunnels were boring in difficult geologycal conditions, but the geology conditions of these tunnels are not same. Also they had not the same hazards during boring. There was used a spectrum of different technical works with hazard reduction purpose and safety process of boring. There were three serious accidents, wnich everyone made a creater on the surface, but they have not the same causes. This text has a task to describe a geological survey before and during the boring of both tunnels. How other reasons affected the process of boring? How the tunnels were bored? What events preceded the everyone of three major failure? This text does not deal with economical things of boring and effects of specific personal influence on the process of boring. Key words Tunnel, excavation, Blanka, Brusnice, Letná, Stromovka park, Vltava river, underground water, geology, ordovik, New Austrian Tunnelling method, pilot tunnel, calotte, bench, bottom, arche, bolt, lining, grouting, collapse of ceiling, failure, tube, shale, quarzite, soil, loess, ballast, clay
Building CT Brno - rough substructure
Vlasák, Jakub ; Dvořák, Miloslav (referee) ; Biely, Boris (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor´s thesis is the construction and technological salutions to rough substructure building Czech television in Brno. The content of this work is technological execution, solution to site equipment, design of machanical assemblies sonnected with transport links, checking and test plans, line budget, schedule, safety and protection of environment.
On the design and technology of a test bench for hydraulic engine
Duret, Mikhaël ; Sliwková, Petra (referee) ; Píška, Miroslav (advisor)
Every building needs to be built on solid foundations. Hydromills are machines used to make it possible in excavating very hard ground. This project is about the creation of a test bench for hydraulic motors called here hydromill motors. Excavating is really soliciting for the equipment and leads to many breakages that is why the company asked for the creation of a test bench to measure the lifespan and the reaction of their motors to the forces acting during the cutting. It is complicated to copy the forces and shocks happening in reality because they are very high with quick variations, also depending on the ground. This test bench will have to create high variable loads acting on several directions, a high counter-rotation torque corresponding with the resistance of the ground to the cutting, as well as angular and longitudinal shocks to simulate the hits on the rocks by the teeth.Furthermore the measuring of the internal pressure and hydraulic flow plus the deformations of the main parts of the motors has to be enable by the test bench. The main part of this internship was devoted to the choice of the technical solutions to realize the functions of the test bench as well as the research of companies able to create the test bench elements. Many of them are not conventional due to the high requirements and have to be manufactured individually. In the end an evaluation of the costs and production will give all the information to the company to decide to manufacture it.
An expert assessment of the construction conditions during the excavation of královopolský tunnel
Kostka, Rostislav
As a result of the excavation of Královopolský tunnel, situated under Dobrovského and Veleslavínova streets in Brno, some depressions and inclinations of existing buildings have happened. In the article we are dealing with the time flow of deformations on representative buildings and the process of long-term registering of cracks in the time-dependency. The malfunctions were monitored after the excavation of check tunnels in the 2001 – 2006 period and again during the excavation in 2006 – 2007; they are monitored till nowadays. The monitoring records have been entered into the tables in the time-dependency and these dependencies were graphically presented. On the basis of 'Static ensuring of the existing surface building' project documentation the static ensuring was projected and lastly implemented in most of the objects.
