Development of a strategy for 3D printing of copper using Laser Powder Bed Fusion
Kryšpín, Vojtěch ; Vaverka, Ondřej (referee) ; Malý, Martin (advisor)
Copper sees vast usage in aeronautical, electrotechnical and energy industries due to its excellent machinability and thermal and electrical conductivity. In combination with modern computational approaches such as topological optimalization, additive manufacturing of copper has a great potential. My work has focused on creating a sample with the highest relative density through the application of recoating and remelting strategies. The best specimens which reached relative density over 99,1% were created with the following printing parameters: LP = 400 W, LV = 400 m·s-1 a HD = 0,01 mm.
Development of process parameters for the stereolithography
Vítek, Jan ; Škaroupka, David (referee) ; Paloušek, David (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the search for optimal process parameters to reach a high strength of the Detax Solflex model material, with the DLP (digital light processing) 3D Solflex 650 printer. In the first part of this thesis the principle of printing using a laser and using a DLP projector and their comparison are presented. Further information about materials and impact of the process parameters on a printing are discussed. Based on a knowledge two assumptions were set: influence of exposure time and influence of layer thickness on strength. Firstly, samples were tested by the hardness Shore D test and the results from the test were compared. New samples for the stress test with the optimal set of parameters given by the previous test were printed and tested. Process parameters influence on strength was determined from the achieved results.
Design of the extruder for 3D printing the composite parts
Šmalec, Petr ; Pavlík, Jan (referee) ; Kočiš, Petr (advisor)
The diploma thesis is focused on 3D printing of composites parts. Thesis deals with methods of additive manufacturing and describes principle of selected 3D printing technologies. In addition to additive technologies, the theoretical part presents an overview of composite materials and methods of composite production. Then there are four concepts that lead to 3D printing of continuous fiber reinforced composites components. The final concept is selected according to multi-criteria analysis and then designed. Designed extruder allows 3D printing of composite materials. The principle of the function consists of fiber impregnation by matrix inside the heat chamber and then deposition of composite on printing platform. The extruder also consist of fiber cutting mechanism. The extruder's ability is verified by the experiment.
Topology Optimization of the Hinge on Elastic Foundation
NASTRAN, M.S.C. PATRAN a FUSION 360.
The House Anatomy and the Digital Regionalism
Boušková, Linda ; Magnusková, MA et MA Eva (referee) ; Kristek, Jan (advisor)
Robotics and digital design are associated with the creation of free forms. The thesis deals with the potential of new building technologies in the sense of an opportunity to build on the foregoing regional architecture, disconnected by an industrial mass production. A creation that can reinterpret the charm and diversity of Moravian houses, preserving the continuity between old morphology and today’s housing requirements.
Development of SLM process parameters for manufacturing of mold segment for molding tires
Měchura, Lukáš ; Hutař, Pavel (referee) ; Rapant, Martin (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with finding suitable process parameters for the production of molding segment by SLM technology. It consists of a combination of structures, shells, thin slats and bulk parts. The tested material is maraging steel 300. The research part deals with the problem of choice of suitable process parameters, such as laser power and speed, hatch distance and thickness of the built layer. The achievable mechanical properties of the parts and the choice of the suitable structure were also examined. In the thesis were found suitable process parameters for printing of bulk parts and structures.
3D metal printing by wire welding methods
Přibyla, Dalibor ; Izák, Josef (referee) ; Sigmund, Marian (advisor)
This thesis presents the most commonly used technologies of 3D metal printing by wire welding methods, like WLAM, EBAM and WAAM. Deals with their principles, sub methods, applications, suppliers and also with current researches and trends, which are focused on deposition of thin layers. CMT technology is closely described, with attention on its certain kinds, like Cycle step, Advanced, Pulse Advanced, Pin and Braze+. Then, the CMT workplace at IMID DREAD, FME BUT is described by individual components, automatization and robotization. Final evaluation shows, that the chosen workplace is appropriate for required 3D print of magnesium alloys and overhanging structures, due to cold metal transfer technology and low purchase price.
Design of an experimental manifold suitable for a 3D print manufacturing
Zeman, Stanislav ; Křivohlavý, Petr (referee) ; Vaverka, Ondřej (advisor)
The target of this thesis was to design a method of mounting pressure sensors on an already designed shape of a flow distribution header. Furthermore, it was necessary to design a method of mounting the header on a laboratory stand and then find a method of surface treatment. This thesis was solved in these three structural nodes. Gradually, three variants were designed for the threaded connection of the distributor and the pressure sensor and then three variants of installation were designed for the selected threaded connection. The possibilities of mounting a header on a laboratory stand were designed in two variants. Finally, possible methods of surface treatment have been proposed to improve the impermeability through the wall of the header. The individual variants in each design node were compared with each other by their strength and the result was the final design of the flow distribution header. It was manufactured according to the given technological procedure and then its functionality was tested.
Design and virtual simulation of single-purpose machine
Zlámalík, Jan ; Husák, Michal (referee) ; Kaczmarczyk, Václav (advisor)
This thesis aim is to design a construction of single-purpose machine that will serve as a coffee machine operator. The theoretical part describes the concept of the machine design and its functions. Then the individual components are selected based on the specified requirements. The practical part describes the machine design and simulation in Siemens NX software with Mechatronics Concept Designer package. A software solution for the ESP32 microcontroller is then developed for the real machine. This software solution is ready to be controlled from a hierarchical higher-level system. The function of the machine is tested using a test application developed for this purpose.

Lipoldová, Marie ; Hela, Rudolf (referee) ; Bodnárová, Lenka (advisor)
3D printing technology represents a fast-growing industry within many industrial sectors. This bachelor thesis is focused on possibilities of using 3D printing technology in building industry. In the theoretical part there are stated typical technologies and realizations of 3D printing in the field of construction. The thesis also includes a research which is essential for the determination of requirements for cement composites for 3D printing technologies including tests for verification of their properties. The experimental part of the bachelor thesis is focused on testing of various recipes of cementitious composites, especially on the properties of both fresh and hardened composites. Two batches were tested for the suitability of utilisation of waste PET particles.
