Validity of Local Positioning System
Németh, Filip ; MPA, David Prycl, (referee) ; Hanák, Petr (advisor)
The aim of this presented thesis is to verify the validation of LPS, which runs on the principle of wave radiations, UWB technology in particular. The testing protocol verifies the precision of system functions in various places and two diferent altitudes of the pitch. The ultimate precision of monitoring was recorded in the middle of the pitch, vanishing to the sides. In a higher altitude, with no surrounding walls, the recordings from the middle of the pitch were nearly similar to the sides of it. The anchor altitudes of the mechanism affect the overall monitored results. In comparison, the accuracy of tag placed approximately in a plane of anchors was lower than tag placed in a vest of an athlete.
New directions for waterproofing of underground transport
Čech, Tomáš ; Čížek, Luboš (referee) ; Šťastník, Stanislav (advisor)
This diploma thesis focuses on the implementation of waterproofing of underground constructions using an LLDPE membrane hinged on anchors. In the future, this method will replace the commonly used waterproofing system in Scandinavia with extruded polyethylene foam. This method of tunnel construction and waterproofing is compared with the NRTM method, often used in Central Europe. The thesis describes the installation of a waterproofing system, especially materials, accessories, welding devices and auxiliary installation equipment. The main focus of the thesis is to verify the reliability of the individual types of welds and to assess the waterproofing system in terms of implementation and environmental demands.

It addresses the possible explanations of anchoring and also gives a brief introduction to related cognitive biases, understanding of which is crucial for further orientation in the use of anchoring in marketing communication. The main body of the first part is formed by a theoretical research of academic literature and consequently conducted studies and experiments. The terminological discrepancies between fields when it comes to anchoring in marketing communication are dealt with special attention. A considerable part of this section is dedicated to the different types of use of anchoring in marketing communication. The second part of this paper is an empirical one. It describes an experiment conducted by the author of this work with the objective of studying the effect of anchoring and its usability in practice on the example of fictitious car commercials. The results of the experiment suggest that while there is an evidence...
