Analysis of team game performance of basketball representation of the Czech Republic at the European Championship 2013 in Slovenia

Title of Work: Analysis of team game performance of basketball representation of the Czech Republic at the European Championship 2013 in Slovenia. Objectives of Thesis: The main goal of our work is to compare team game performances of Group C and compare the final results of the Czech Republic representation in detail with its rivals at the European Championship in 2013. Partial target is a comparison of average merits between groups of teams which made it to the second round of the tournament of the European Championship 2013 which didn't succeed. Methods of Work: The chief method of the writing was a quantitative analysis of video records of all of the games of Group C, European Championship 2013 with detailed final results of the Czech Republic and its rivals. While using the method of observation, we registered the characteristics of the games and then compared it within the participating teams. In the second part, we compared the final results of pointers of the moving teams to the qualification and teams which didn't' succeed in Group C, European Championship 2013 in Basketball. Diploma thesis "Behavioral symptoms in sexually abused children, families access and response of social workers" focuses on clarifying the issue of child sexual abuse and its course. The introductory chapters deal with explaining the concept of sexual abuse and the possible occurrence. It characterized by potential victims, offenders and the possible risks. The work focuses on social and psychosomatic manifestations of children who are victims of sexual abuse. It compares the responses of children by age and sex. The important part is the revelation of the incident. Revealed is the most deliverance victim of pathological behavior. The work describes the victim may have reasons for concealing situation, how it reacts family after disclosure. How the assistence of social workers in contact with victims of sexual abuse.But also what measures are needed to prevent further deprivation of the child. Title of thesis: Comparison of indicators of the team game performance between the U.S. team and teams of its rivals at Men's Basketball at the Olympic Games 2012 and against the performance of the U.S. at World Championship 2010. Aim of thesis: The main goal of the thesis was to find out the difference between the U.S. team game performance and its rivals after the confrontation and comparsion of the indicators written down. Another point was to detect how the USA performance at the Olympic Games 2012 resembled to or differed from its performance at the World Championship 2010. This comparsion signifies some specific tendency in conception of the american elite man' s basketball. Methods of thesis: The main approach of the thesis was the quantitative analysis of video recordings of all matches between the U.S. team and its rivals at the Olympic Games 2012. From the video recordings we registered the characteristic of the match by the method of observation and subsequently we compared the achieved values in terms of the teams involved. First-time voters motivation for parliamentary elections in Ricany 2010

Author of this thesis is undertaking a study of an act of voting in a town Říčany during election to the Parliament of the Czech Republic in 2010. A research is looking for the aspects, which can influence the acting of first-voters before they go to the elections. Young people often discuss their choice with members of any social group (parents, friends, siblings) and political parties try to focus on these young people, appeal on them and motivate them to give a vote to that political party. The goal of this thesis is to find out, which social group influences the first-voters in Říčany most, what position takes the family and if the first-voters are a single voting unit, which is good to study. This thesis contains a brief history of Říčany, results of elections to Parliament in 2006 and 2010 and there are the election campaigns of that parties which took place in Parliament in 2006 and 2010. A single part of the campaigns represents the campaign focused on young people. Part of chapters with the election results, there are motivations of voters written. The crucial part of the thesis is a questionnaire sent between the respondents from the city in a target group. On the base of these anonymous questionnaire results, the hypothesis are confirmed or declined.

Result/inference discourse connectives in academic texts

The present thesis compares the use of result/inference discourse connectives in two corpora compiled by the author. The student corpus consists of 43 literary essays by Czech university students of English and American studies and the reference corpus contains 34 journal articles written by native expert writers. The main objective of the thesis was to determine to what extent students resemble professional writers in their use of result/inference connectives with respect to the frequency, position and scope of the connectives. The thesis revealed a strong overall overuse of result/inference connectives by students as well as overuse and underuse of individual connectives. It was also found that both types of writers generally prefer initial to non-initial placement of result/inference connectives; however, students more frequently use the connectives with the immediate scope.

Suggestions for improvement in long-termed material property economy

This work solves the problems with taking care of capital goods in the firm Komponenty, a. s. The work is elaborated from the analysis of present situation in the firm, the heed is oriented to the most important areas, especially the organisation and maintenance activity and taking care of assets. The result of the performed analysis is identification of bad spots. Proposal is submitted in the second part of the work in order to solve the problems found by performing the work. At the end economical evaluation of the proposal and statement of assumptions for the applications of the extended work result to firm use is performed.

Analysis of the results of the current pension reform by the end of 2013 and the comparison of their possible alternative solutions

My bachelor thesis analyzes the existing results of the current pension reform after the first year since its inception, i.e. its state as of the end of the year 2013. My work focuses on the current results, which the pension reform has achieved since its creation, it evaluates the numbers of participants, their composition, and last but not least, their influence on the feasibility of the entire II. Pillar. Considering the negative results of the achievements of the reform in comparison to its expected goals, my work also delivers suggestions for steps toward improvement, which can be applied as rectification of the current state of the reform. As such, the thesis outlines and compares steps which must be taken immediately after the demise of the II pillar of pension reform, and further compares proposals of solutions which can be taken into account as alternatives for the reform of the pension system, whereby foreign solutions are also considered. The consequence of this thesis can be a recommendation as to how to deal with the current condition of the pension reform, so that negative impacts of its failure can be eliminated as soon as possible. The conclusion of the thesis attempts to also provide a positive view of pension reform.

The analysis of the utilization of farm machinery used to repair damage caused by flash flooding.

The aim of the thesis is to analyse possible consequences caused by flash flooding and the work that is needed to repair the damage. The thesis gives basic information about utilization of farm machinery, auxiliary working adapters and traffic appliance suitable for realization of work plans to remove the flooding consequences. The thesis should help accredited authority with decision making and with repairing and securing the consequences caused by flooding.

The check on levels of sports gymnastics motoric skills at basic schools in České Budejovice\\

The aim of my thesis was to check the level of motional facilities from the artistic gymnastic at Grammar Schools in České Budějovice, The main part of this work is the analytic part, which determines the conception "gym" and describes the substitution in the physical education. The main way of working I prefered was the temporary time nest-egg. There is the most important and alarming result that according to the methods mentioned above, the pupils often reach average or below the positive motivative and attractive at all examinated schools.
