Switch-Mode Power Suplies for Electronic Circuits
Hantl, Josef ; Steinbauer, Miloslav (referee) ; Murina, Milan (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals problems with Switching Power supplies and their comparison with classical power supplies. In this project, functions of basic kinds of convertors for Switchmode supplies and their characteristics, are explained. It adverts to possibilities improving of effectivity of power supplies by using resonant and quasiresonant convertors in switching supplies. The thesis designs a circuit conception, detailed perimeter design of Switchmode supply and contains simulation this circuitry. One part of this project are details for realisation power supply (drawing printed circuit, list of used materials).
Resonant and quasi-resonant converters
Krška, Vlastimil ; Sedláček, Jiří (referee) ; Murina, Milan (advisor)
Project is engaged in concept and realization of quasi – resonant converter with switching in minimum voltage which derive benefit from resonance capacitor and inductor. It is one of the possibilities how to increase efficiency of switch – mode power supply. While using resonant converters the losses are reduced, when the resonant inductor will connect and disconnect at zero current in inductor, or at zero voltage on inductor. Base of the power supply is chip NCP1337. Concept comes from detailed analysis functions of integrated curcuit and others curcuits of switch – mode power supply. Project includes a complete concept of all partial curcuits, description of a construction and the main parameters measured on the realized sample.

Chochola, Ondřej ; Havlíček, Tomáš (referee) ; Boušek, Jaroslav (advisor)
The delivered thesis deals with the theory of very thin layers deposition by means of pulse magnetron sputtering and the proposal, realization and testing of the power supply source for the pulse magnetron sputtering.
Tube microphone preamplifier
Čacký, Adam ; Hruboš, Zdeněk (referee) ; Brančík, Lubomír (advisor)
The theme of the master´s thesis is design a microphone preamplifier which uses vacuum tube as a main amplifying element. Part of the work is theoretical assumptions for the optimal design and implementation of peripheral involvement, comparing the properties of components used and the resulting parameters of modeled device. The thesis also includes a proposal of the source unit for supplying all parts of the preamplifier. The results are accompanied by circuit simulations and laboratory measurements of the main parameters of the designed device.
Auxiliary winding supplying the voltage regulator of synchronous generator
Hrtáň, Michal ; Hájek, Vítězslav (referee) ; Vítek, Ondřej (advisor)
The theme of this thesis is the design and verification of the auxiliary winding to supply the voltage regulator of the synchronous generator. The synchronous generator for which the auxiliary winding proposed is three-phase, low voltage with double layer random wound stator winding. The generator excitation is brushless with auxiliary rotating exciter. The auxiliary winding is designed for placement in the stator teeth, along with the main winding. The sizing of the auxiliary winding is derived from the power requirements the voltage regulator. Draft winding is validated analytical calculation and finite element method (FEM). The auxiliary winding has been implemented in the production of the generator. The Features of the auxiliary winding have been verified by measuring the by electrical testing room and the test results are evaluated.
D class audio-amplifier with digital and remote control
Petrgál, Filip ; Kovář, Jan (referee) ; Šotner, Roman (advisor)
The contents of this thesis is design of audio power amplifier in Class D with fully digital control and remote control and is divided into two parts . The first part is devoted to the basic principles and theory of key elements of the entire amplifier. The second part consists of a complete description of the design and construction of a power amplifier, digital control with remote control, a spectrum analyzer, equalizer, preamp VU meters and complete power supply. Each proposal contains a detailed analysis of the solutions supported by simulations and software. For individual parts have been completely measured p arameters.
Automatic control system of technology facility
Brabec, Luboš ; Šmirg, Ondřej (referee) ; Hubálek, Jaromír (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with problematics of technological procedures and techniques for modification of microelectrodes with nanostructures. Furthermore, it describes a device needed for automated production of nanosensors, their properties and communication with computer. These devices communicate through RS-232 and USB interfaces.
Active loudspeaker with digital audio signal input and additional functions
Nedoma, Jakub ; Ing. Jiří Stifter, Ph.D., FEL ZČU v Plzni (referee) ; Kratochvíl, Tomáš (advisor)
The aim of the diploma thesis was to design active loudspeakers. The project contains the final solution of the designed loudspeakers that have a digital input of the multichannel audio signal with both sided data communication. In the work, there are also created circuits for processing an audio signal with a following amplification for the loudspeakers. Added functions are an infra acceptor for a remote control and binary outputs for assistant functions - a control of the motor and an indication via LED diodes.
Class D audio power amplifier with microprocessor controlling
Nedbal, Jan ; Papica, Petr (referee) ; Brančík, Lubomír (advisor)
The thesis deals with the design and practical realization of class D audio power amplifier with microprocessor controlling. The first part describes the integrated circuits used in a preamplifier and his complete design with a description of the control program for ATmega128 microcontroller. The following part describes an integrated power amplifier TAS5613 and his circuits. The next section describes a switching power supply design using integrated circuit TOP261EN. The last section describes measurements of parameters of individual parts of the amplifier.
