Root cause analysis of scrap during production of bearing rings in a roller bearing company

This diploma thesis concerns about measuring of rings of bearings from the input material, throughout machining processes, such as turning, heat treatment, grinding, till finishing operations as honing. Purpose of this thesis is to map all the processes in a roller/needle bearing company, measuring of rings of bearings, evaluating data, propose actions leading to decrease the number of scrap product and technical-economical evaluation of changed processes.
Methods for analysis of causes and consequences of components failures in assembly process

This bachelor’s thesis concerns issues of quality management analyses and their use in assembly process. Specifically Ishikawa diagram, 8D report, 5 Why, Poka-Yoke and different types of FMEA analyses are described there. Process FMEA analysis is described in details, because this analysis is used in practical part of the thesis. Practical part describes searching and evaluating all possible failures and their effects, which could appear in assembly process of mechanical belt tensioner.

It gives an explanation of the meaning of the particular standards in the area of quality management and defines the key areas in the management system of the industrial company. The practical part of the thesis is a review of the management system at Meva, identification of the deficiencies and proposal for their elimination using the QFD and FMEA methods.
Process FMECA - implementation of information system in the bank

This thesis considers of process FMECA analysis that is applied to the process of implementation the information system in the bank. The theoretical part focuses on risk management and using of methods FMEA and FMECA. In the practical part of thesis is introduced the company, for that the process of implementation of the information system is designed. In addition the analysis of the external and internal environment in relaiton to the information system is made. The result of these analysis is SWOT analysis. Then the process of implementation the information system is described and FMECA analysis is performed. Based of the results of the analysis are designed appropriate measures that will eliminate the risks or that will reduce their impacts.

Theoretical part presents history of quality, modern methods in quality, process of nonconforming products, preventive methods used in car industry and also the costs of quality. Practical part presents process analysis of nonconforming products in concrete company and main focus is implementation of the corrective actions. Main point regarding the improvement is upgrading detection system. Upgrade was made on concrete product, which represented huge quality extracosts.
Automation the process of designing and programming of machine

This diploma thesis deals with the issue of information transfer between the Department of Electrical Equipment Design and the Software Development Department of the control system of this machine. The diploma thesis focuses mainly on the elimination of the influence of the human factor while increasing the efficiency of this information transfer. System analysis examines the issues and investigates the reliability of information transfer. On the basis of the requirements resulting from the analysis, preventive measures and modifications of procedures in both departments have been proposed. Simultaneously, its own software applications have been developed to considerably simplify and accelerate the process, while meeting the requirements to eliminate problematic phenomena caused particularly by human factors. The resulting solution is verified according to the designated verification process and reassessed by own "SampleVUT" test project. Validation evaluates the effectiveness of the proposed solution.

This diploma thesis deals with the application of quality tools in the production company. The theoretical part deals with the history of quality, its current status and mainly describes some of the basic quality tools. The practical part describes the current status of quality management in the company and the system of assessment and selection of suppliers. The conclusions and results of this diploma thesis should prove that by introducing a method for selection, supplier evaluation, the company will achieve cost reduction and the establishment of a beneficial supplier-customer relationship.

Diploma thesis deals with identification and analysis of the risks in procurement at ČEPRO, a.s. with usage of FMEA method. Companys business activities are transportation, storage and distribution of the oil products, storage of the state oil product funds and managing of the fueling station net called EuroOil. The aim of the thesis is the identify and analyze potential risks in ČEPRO, a.s. procurement process with usage of the FMEA method and propose measures that could lead to improve the procurement process. Thesis is divided into four chapters. First chapter deals with the procurement theory, second chapter deals with Czech public procurement act, because ČEPRO, a.s. use the procurement processes that are inspired by this act. Third chapter presents the company, companys procurement organization and procurement processes. Fourth chapter identifies and analyze the potential risks in the procurement processes and propose the measures that could to lead procurement processes improvement.

This thesis is dealing with the issue of risk management during order processing in manufacturing company, which is focused on textile production. Introduction of thesis is presenting theroretical basis. Practical part of the thesis is dealing with company introduction organizational structure of the body, product range, order progressing, OSH policy and environmental policy. Tools chosen for risk assessment techniques - analysis of the causes and consequences (Ishikawa diagram), analysis of possible errors and their consequences (FMEA) and the Pareto chart. The thesis aims to analyze the risks and for the most significant risks to process proposals for their elimination.
