Information System for Fair User Policy Management
Vykydal, Oldřich ; Žádník, Martin (referee) ; Tobola, Jiří (advisor)
Main goal of this bachelor's thesis is to design and implement information system for the management of Fair User Policy, or abbreviated as FUP. This whole project is based on the use of NetFlow technology to monitor the computer network through the monitoring of network flows. The resulting information system will enable network administrators to set limits to customers in the volume of transferred data and subsequent monitoring of their compliance. If the customer is in breach of these limits, the information system will allow the penalty. The system will also record some statistics on network traffic.
XML Dictionary Tagging
Sýkora, Michal ; Šilhavá, Jana (referee) ; Smrž, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor thesis describes the management of dictionary data in XML format, especially the family of XML standards and their use in work with dictionaries. In addition, the system for their storage, specifically DEB II.The practical part show a dictionaries transfer to the LMF standard, installation and launching DEB II. In conclusion is discussion about the advantages and disadvantages of the system.
Robotic Arm - Navigation by Using Axis 214 Camera
Skládanka, Josef ; Hanáček, Petr (referee) ; Zbořil, František (advisor)
This paper is focused on recognizing the position of a cube placed in the working area of the robotic arm Mitsubishi Melfa 6 SL, using digital image from Axis 214 cameras. It briefly describes few techniques which can be used for detecting the position of an object in the image. The main focus is laid on the implemented method, which detects and analyses gaps in the grid plotted in the robot's working area.
XMPP Robot with Natural Language Interface
Krygielová, Magdaléna ; Fapšo, Michal (referee) ; Schmidt, Marek (advisor)
This bachelors thesis describes an XMPP robot which communicates using natural language. It works as an interface for various services, especially for providing information about train and bus connections. This robot allows people using Jabber network to get the information about implemented services the way which is natural for them, without the need of filling forms or remembering command formats.
Automatic Creation of Dictionaries from Translations
Musil, Jakub ; Schmidt, Marek (referee) ; Smrž, Pavel (advisor)
Aim of this thesis is to implement system for translation words from source language into the target language with pair input texts. There are descriptions  of terms and methods used in machine translation and machine build dictionary. The thesis also contains a concept and specification of each part created system including final evaluation. There is analysed options which make extension of existing dictionatry.
Design of S-Boxes Using Genetic Algorithms
Hovorka, Bedřich ; Zadina, Martin (referee) ; Hanáček, Petr (advisor)
This work deals with part of the encryption algorithm, called S-box and its development. For its development is used evolutionary computing, such as classical genetic algorithm, Estimation of Distribution Algorithm, Cartesian genetic programming and multi-criteria VEGA and SPEA algorithms. This thesis aims to test the properties of substitution boxes to its evolutionary development. Firstly, the work deals with cryptography and issues of s-boxes. There are explained basic concepts and describes the selected criteria of safety. Next chapter explains evolutionary algorithms   and multi-criteria optimization. This knowledge is used to design and program implementation, which are described below. Finally discusses the application of the criteria studied. Discussed here is searching S-boxes in both single-criteria, and especially in multi-criteria genetic search.
A File System Implementing Storage for Gentoo Portage Based on a Relational Database
Štulpa, Adam ; Mlích, Jozef (referee) ; Rychlý, Marek (advisor)
The thesis deals with implementation of a program which can, through the use of FUSE library, make data accessible in the relational database like the classical Gentoo Portage storage. First, the reader of the thesis becomes familiar with FUSE library itself. After that, the new data model is built based on the analysis of the Portage structure. The new model emphasizes especially dependencies of packages. The key implementation issues are also described in the next part. Finally, the thesis assesses outcomes achieved including comparison with standard Portage implementation and classical file system. The other possibilities of the project development are considered as well.
Workflow Model and Its Graphic Interface
Jadrný, Miroslav ; Mates, Vojtěch (referee) ; Hruška, Tomáš (advisor)
Business process management is important topic in business information systems. Workflow systems are taking the top places in company information system architecture due to aspiration to make business process more and more optimized. This project is about parallel processing and implementation of business processes parallel processing in complex information systems. Content of this project is o function and object library for modeling business process in Vema, a. s. Workflow system. Important part of this project is parallel processing solution and its implementation.
Accounting and Inspecting IP Telephony Traffic
Sivák, Vladimír ; Ryšavý, Ondřej (referee) ; Matoušek, Petr (advisor)
This thesis describes architecture of IP telephony networks based on signaling protocol SIP and transport protocol RTP. Also tools used for analyzing VoIP traffic are described. Main objective is to design and implement a system for the detection of calls and extraction of voice payloads from  the captured packets. The system first recognizes the signaling messages of SIP protocol. These messages are analyzed afterwards. Output statistics are generated based on gathered data. Voice data will be stored in form, which is suitable for further processing.
Home Multimedia Centre
Burkert, Michal ; Herout, Adam (referee) ; Sumec, Stanislav (advisor)
This thesis deals with design and implementation application, that should be equivalent to several eletronic devices such as DVD player or videotape recorder. Computer used for this purpose is often branded as Home Theater Personal Computer (HTPC). This thesis studies available multimedia libraries and software in operating system Linux, that is used to create designed application. It shows some similar existing application to create HTPC either commercial or opensource.
