The Integrated Rescue System Activity and the Protection of the Public from a Possible Importation of Highly Contagious Diseases into the Czech Republic by Air Transfer
TOUSECKÝ, Peter
At present time of modern worldwide tourism using air transport, the risk of spreading an infectious disease in the Czech Republic cannot be underestimated. Air transport has become quite common way of travelling for Czech citizens so the travel time has shortened significantly. From this viewpoint Czech residents are at potential hazard of highly infectious diseases (HID). This Diploma thesis deals with biological agents which are divided into four risk groups on the basis of patogenes, a hazard to the staff and possible treatment and prophylaxis. Each of the groups requires different level of protection against the infection and its spread. The groups are graded from 1 to 4, i.e. BSL-1, BSL-2, BSL{--}3 and BSL{--}4. Biosafety level 4 (BSL-4) poses a high individual risk of life-threatening diseases where no prevention and treatment are available. This group includes various viral hemorrhanic fevers (VHF) accompanied by heavy tissue bleeding which can be caused by philoviruses, arenaviruses, buniaviruses and flaviviruses. These virus families include viruses like Ebola, Marburg, Lassa, Junin (Argentine VHF), Machupo (Bolivian VHF), Sabia (Brazilian VHF), Guanarito (Venezuelan VHF), Rift Halley fever, Hanta virus, Variola virus, Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) and others. Even the hazard of BSL-3 biological agents with, in history well-known, Bacillus anthracis should not be ignored. The hazard of highly infectious diseases (HID) related to tourism consists in the incubation period. Tourists are infected during their stay abroad and on their way back to the Czech Republic the disease is highly developed. The HID transmission to other people confined in the space of the plane is then very simple. The attention is also paid to the pandemic (H1N1) 2009 influenza virus which showed the possible ways of infection identification and population protection in the Czech Republic together with all subsequent effects.
Application of JADE multi-agent environment
ŠTĚPÁNEK, Martin
This work deals with realization of a model of multi-agent system for monitoring and supervising production or work process. System is capable of responding to monitored process events and taking actions leading to solving arised problems. Implementation is performed using Java Agent Development Framework (JADE) and there are demonstrated properties and capabilities of multiagent systems. This work also contains basic introduction of JADE framework.
Application of agents in business process modelling
Miloš, Martin ; Řepa, Václav (advisor) ; Šalamon, Tomáš (referee)
This diploma thesis deals with the usage of agents in business process modelling. The aim is to identify possible uses in the problem area and to evaluate their potential. Intended usage is analysed on the basis of the objectives of process modelling. Described in detail, it focuses on potential application of agents in a process modelling itself, in deploying executable and flexible processes, process improvements and finally in dynamic planning. A further objective is to provide an overview of current research and literature in problem area. To fulfil the goal available literature is analysed and basis approaches are demonstrated in case study. Paper does not address the implementation of multi-agent systems (MAS). Following introduction reader is guided though basic elements of the processes and their modelling, concept of agents and modelling of MAS. As a process modelling notation BPMN in planned 2.0 release was selected. Next section is devoted to the usage of agents. The last part of the work is a case study discussing the possibilities of agents application in company operating public car auctions. In addition the process model (BPMN) transformation to agent model is presented and further developed as a interconnection between process modelling and agent-based systems. Combination of agent approach with business rules and hybrid simulation are proposed as the most promising usages.

The statutory bodies of the Limited Liability Company and Joint-Stock Company
Mužíková, Tereza ; Kalinová, Miluše (advisor) ; Žák, Květoslav (referee)
The bachelor thesis deals with statutory bodies of the Limited Liability Company and Joint-Stock Company. In the case of the Limited Liability Company we are talking about the agent and in the case of Joint-Stock Company we are talking about the board. The role of the statutory body in the company is really very fundamental. The reason why this position is so important is the authority to negotiate in the name of company - activity outside of the company and business leadership of the company - activity inside of the company. This work is divided into two basic parts, which should present the general overview of the statutory bodies in the Limited Liability Company and Joint-Stock Company. First part deals with the general characteristic of the Limited Liability Company and Joint-Stock Company and the second one deals with direct questions of statutory bodies in the given companies. The aim of the first chapter is to present the conditions for discharge of function and its creation, legal regulation between the member of the statutory bodies and the reasons are for the discharge of this function. Next chapters deal with acting on behalf of the company and with the trade leadership of the company, responsibility and discretions and duties resulting from the discharge of their office.
An impact of the agency costs on the performance of mutual funds
Hofman, Jakub ; Marek, Petr (advisor) ; Podškubka, Tomáš (referee)
An objective of this bachelor thesis is to outline agency costs and analyse their possible impact on the performance of mutual funds in USA using linear regression. Theoretical fundamentals are mentioned in broad and narrow concept at the beginning. Furthermore, the mutual funds are defined. The mutual funds were chosen because they hold huge volume of assets and because the mutual funds remind popular investment.
Agent based models of financial markets - rationality and social networks
Popadinec, Martin ; Burian, Jan (advisor) ; Berka, Petr (referee)
In the thesis we focus on involving Agent-based models in modeling financial markets. In Agent-based models of economical systems, often called Agent-based computational economics (ACE), market price is established by actions and interactions of autonomous agents using heuristics or simple decision-making rules. This approach to modeling of financial markets provide us with better understanding of establishing market price then aggregate economical models which focuses exclusively on societally "optimal" equilibria assuming that they are achieved by informed and rational behavior of people. The thesis consists of two main parts. The first one, theoretical, is an introduction to agent based modeling, bounded rationality and social network Our concern in the second part of the thesis is a model of volatility on financial markets. This model is interesting example of agent based approach to creating economical models. However it contains some non-realistic assumption from which the most controversial is the space where agents interacts -- two dimensional lattice. In this part of the work the model is converted from two dimensional lattice to the networks which better corresponds to real social networks but we also experiment with another extension of the agent's decision-making function. The intended outcome of the work is verifying the quality of the model, to learn the effect of our model extensions on price volatility, overview of attributes of the particular networks and discussion whether such models could provide some valuable information to the economist which are interested in financial markets.
Modeling projects work
Sekerka, Radko ; Burian, Jan (advisor) ; Kvasnička, Michal (referee)
In this thesis we present model of the human work process on projects using multi-agent model. Within the project management plan is carried out comparisons with the fact not only in the context of subsequent checks, but also in the course of the project. One of the most item is cost of human resources. To increase efficiency and control over the actual cost to introducing a range of organizations link the accounting system to a system of reporting work. Such a system registry of the work is not only complex, but also demanding in terms of managing the time gap between the creation of estimates and their own work. In general, there may be several variants of complications such as delay work on the project because of inaccurate estimates of job performance and therefore insufficient funds in the accounts sections and stages of the project. The aim of this work is to find the characteristics of such projects for which this system work. In the first part we are addressed basic theoretical assumptions for modeling work in the field of project management and multi-agent modeling. Next part relates to the creation of multi-agent model, including detailed characteristics and verification. At the end of this research are described a several experiments with the model and analysis results.
The statutory bodies of the Limited Liability Company and Joint-Stock Company
Viták, Marek ; Kalinová, Miluše (advisor) ; Koucká, Jiřina (referee)
In my work I deal with the statutory bodies of the Limited Liability Company and Joint-Stock Company. The agent and the board play in the above mentioned companies an irreplaceable role. On one side they act on behalf of the company, on the other side they direct the day-to-day activities of the company. My work is divided into seven chapters, in which are subsequently mentioned all the important circumstances concerning the legal status of the statutory body in the given companies, together with the discretions and duties resulting from the discharge of their office. Generally gives the work an exhaustive overview of the legal status of the statutory bodies in the given companies.
