Boundaries. Series of creative lessons for the second Primary school.

This thesis deals with the topic of borders and includes art series, which focuses on the development of social perception and thinking of pupils of second grade of primary school. The theoretical part of the thesis maps the border issue within society. The beginning of the work clarifies the borders in terms of psychology. Afterwards, different ways of dealing with the subject boundaries in art are presented. There are primarily highlighted figures of visual arts and artistic styles that inspired the creation of art series. Works of artists are chronologically ordered into artistic styles and semantically clarified with regard to time, cultural and social context. The next part of this work is devoted to a school curriculum and the possibilities of including the chosen theme to teaching of art subject within the school educational programs, for which the project was implemented. At the end of the theoretical part there is outlined the history of the project teaching and the method used for the creation of the art series.The project part is a set of seven lessons dealing with the topic of boundaries, which are focused on working with different techniques. The whole project was based on the perception and understanding of the issue of boundaries by the pupils of primary school during particular lessons. The course of the lessons and their content is described chronologically. The end of the practical part presents additional possibilities of how, according to the author of this qualification work, the topic of boundaries can be used for further processing.

The main topic of this bachelor's thesis is the diary phenomenon, more specifically diary as a form of art or other visual form, such as photography. The purpose of its theoretical part is to briefly describe the general evolution of the traditional diaries and personal journals and subsequently deal with the diary as a specific form of art piece. This part also introduces Czech visual artists who used to work/still work with the diary phenomenon creatively - Vladimír Fuka, Jiří Kolář, Josef Jindřich Šechtl and František Skála. Theoretical part also deals with the new contemporary virtual forms of diaries such as personal websites, blogs and social networking sites, shows some of their specific examples (chosen from unique public social network profiles/accounts as well as from interesting online art projects). and describes generally the brief history of this phenomenon. The practical part of the thesis introduces author's own photographic diary project consisting of everyday photos taken to show personal feelings during her study stay abroad. The didactical part attempts to bring the diary phenomenon into arts education in schools. It suggests an art project series thematically connected to the theoretical part of this bachelor's thesis. Searching for a Landscape in the City

The bachelor thesis deals with the topic of landscape in a city. It starts with the definition of the terms "landscape" and "city" and subsequently analysis the different forms of landscape and its interpretations in the fine arts, specifically in painting. Towards the end the work gradually concentrates more on the tower block housing estates of the city. In the final part it presents an extracurricular project on the topic Landscape in a city.
Shadow and shadow play. Series of creative lessons for art education on the elemetary art school

The thesis is devoted to theoretical introduction of shade as a distinctive theme and an expressive element in the history of fine arts extending to the dramatic arts, film and photography, as well as specifications of shadow play as an expressive medium. The work also concentrates on the description of shade in terms of optics and visual perception, answers the question what a shadow is. In this thesis the analysis of both traditional and modern symbolism related to the phenomenon of shadow is not forgotten. A large part is dedicated to didactic analysis and brief characteristics of artproject methods and art series in art education, with regard to practical implications of work. The constituent part of the thesis was the preparation, realization and documentation of particular art series (set of art lessons) on topic "Shade and shadow play" in secondary schools.
The phenomenon of still life in the development of art and its use in art education at the primary school.

The aim of this thesis is to clarify the concept of still life, outlining its development in the context of art from antiquity to the present. The work will focus select content for specification and formal transformations of still life with the possibility of using the outline of educational potential for the practice of art education in elementary schools. This work includes theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part deals with the history, basic principles and techniques of still life in art and his world and Czech officials. Practical application includes a realistic still life theme in art lessons and its subsequent possibilities.
Painting in preschool age.
ŠVEHLOVÁ, Monika
My bachelor thesis ?Painting in pre-school age? deals with an effect of colours on people?s lives, development of children?s painting and division of painting techniques. Additionally, it includes a description of a process and methods of working with colours which are suitable for nursery schools. The practical part is focused on working with colours and observing colours which are around us with a group of children from a nursery school. Themes and realization of graphic activities are also described in my work. Moreover, the bachelor thesis contains photographs and a video recording.
