This work descibes general principles of measuring the alternating current and voltage using conventional and unconventional sensors.This work shows specific parmeters conected with principles of the measurement, advantages and disadvantages of individual measuring procedures, types of output signals, precisions, limitations, ways of power and so on. Part of the work is to find optimal measurement procedure, which can be aplicated to practical measuring of alternating currents and voltage. Main part of the work concerns the realisation of optimal method of measuring alternating current.

This bachelor thesis based on the coputer programs and practical solving in the area of reverse engineering. This work contains the definition of concept of the reverse engineering; distributed digitalizing using the 3D scanning, mathematical description of curves and areas and summary of programs, which are destination for reverse engineering. The goal of this thesis is to form the 3D surface digitalized reconstruction the motorcycle body in Rhinoreverese program.

Digitizing of exhaust piping

This bachelor thesis deals with the possibilities and practical use of 3D scanning systems for engineering. The work includes the distribution of basic facilities for 3D digitizing, and their basic properties. The aim of this work is familiar with the procedure in reverse engineering, which is demonstrated on a specific example, the digitization of the exhaust pipe, using the 3D scanner Atos I and CAD system CATIA.

Optical digitizing systems

This thesis describes various optical systems which are used in reverse engineering and have to present basic review of systems for digitalization with main focus on optical scanners. At first, the brief summary of development in 3D scanner field is presented. In next part of the work are introduced basic techniques of getting the third dimension. Work also divides 3D scanners by the different aspects. At the end of the work, the possible use of 3D scanners is discussed.

V průběhu semináře byly akcentovány témata strategie digitalizace větších knihoven s ohledem na výběr podkladů a technologií, dále způsoby a nástroje k uchovávání, popisu a zpřístupnění digitalizovaného fondu. NTK v současnosti řeší stejné problémy jako krajské knihovny a národní knihovna, jako přínosné se tedy jeví spolupráce mezi institucemi. Podnětné byly informace o aplikacích pro Kramerius, které NTK plánuje otestovat a možnost využít institucionálního Krameria i pro jiné knihovny na základě omezení přístupu. Přínosné bylo také navázání kontaktů s oddělením NKP věnujícímu se tvorbě standardů pro metadatový popis.

Metodika je určena pro pracovníky odborných institucí, kteří se zabývají dokumentací, digitalizací a prezentací kulturního dědictví (ministerstvo kultury, Národní památkový ústav, muzea různého typu, pracoviště památkové péče státní správy a samosprávy), úřady, do jejichž kompetencí náleží problematika prezentace a vizualizace kulturních památek a dědictví, akademická pracoviště zaměřená na výzkum, vývoj i edukaci, restaurátorská pracoviště i jednotlivde zabývající se obnovou a ochranou uměleckých předmětů, zpracovatelům operativních průzkumů a dokumentacde, pracovištím zaměřeným archeologicky s podílem práce dokumentační, pedagogy a studenty technicky i umělecky zaměřených škol, vlastníky objektů.

Digitalization and Visualization of J. A. Comenius' Correspondence (1592-1670)

The project of digitizing and visualization of Jan Amos Comenius' (1592-1670) correspondence is an outcome of an international collaboration among the Department for Comenius Studies and Early Modern Intellectual History of the Institute of Philosophy of the Czech Academy of Sciences and the Cultures of Knowledge project of the University of Oxford. An online database of Comenius' letters was created within the online union catalogue of early modern scholarly correspondence called the Early Modern Letters Online (EMLO) and outstandingly rich metadata were used for visualizations and analysis of the Comenius' correspondence. The researchers used free visualization web-based platform Palladio developed by the Stanford University. Visualization and data analysis not only facilitated to visualize previously known tendencies and facts but also helped to discover new and unknown moments which led to further study.
