Center winery Nemcicky
Ondrová, Klára ; Velička, Jaroslav (referee) ; Dýr, Petr (advisor) ; Kalousek, Lubor (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the design of Centre of Winery for the Modré Hory area. The proposed building should respect the surrounding environment, and attract tourists in the same time, by architectural form, urban planning and design. The plot for construction is located near the village Němčičky u Hustopečí on the hilltop of Nové hory. Currently, vineyards are being restored, which almost completely cover the whole area. The object of the wine center includes a canteen for tourists, a tasting room, a cellar for storage of bottles and technical and hygienic facilities. Production component is it's own electric energy cumulator. Using a renewable wind source. Part of the proposal should be the overview tower, making the site more attractive. The object does not process grapevine, it only archives bottles and works as a showroom and stop at a wine-growing cycle path. It has a simple rectangular ground plan with a sloping roof to cover the entry part and to shield the large glazing. On the ground floor there is a café with a background, a tasting room, hygienic facilities, a brick cellar and technical rooms in the basement. The facade of the building is covered with Siberian larch wood. A viewing tower is located at the west side of the building, almost at the top of the hill. The tower has a cylindrical shape and measures almost 14.5 m. It is also clad with wood of the same type. The production of electricity is provided here by 9 vertical wind turbines located along the northern boundary of the building on the artificial wall.
LAHOFER WINERY DOBŠICE
Nytrová, Bohdana ; Dvořák, Martin (referee) ; Myslín, Jiří (advisor) ; Hradil, Dušan (advisor)
The bachelor thesis designs new buildings of the Lahofer Winery in Dobšice u Znojma. It is based on a study carried out in the studio AG32. The complex will consist of production line and warehouses with the overall production of 1.000.000 bottles a year, altogether with a public and administration building where the wine will be exhibited. The building plot is located on the eastern edge of the land registered area of the nearby village Suchohrdly. The plot is undeveloped agricultural land full of vineyards, arable land and gardens. The ground plan is the most profound part of the design. The circumference of the building symbolizes a wine grape or wood-shavings which refer to a famous woodcarver Jan Lahofer whose name the winery carries. The many atriums create half-enclosed space protected from the wind and serve as handling areas of the production; a terrace or an attractive entrance. The building consists of four successive matters on two levels. The production is placed in three of them. It creates a circle on a single level so that there is a need for only one entrance to the handling area. The public part of the structure is located on a separate level perched on the slope above. It is predominantly made up of showrooms and restaurants. The accommodation units for guests and employees can also be found here. The building is made of a steel framed structure with a hanging facade and a flat roof. The massiveness is softened by the glass facade in the atrium and other glass parts - some of which are as tall as the building itself.
PROKES WINERY
Kunz, Ondřej ; Myslín,, Jiří (referee) ; Dýr, Petr (advisor) ; Čupr, Karel (advisor)
Based on the architectural study from the second year of the bachelor study program, the following bachelor thesis is elaborated, which further disseminates the study to other subsequent stages of the project documentation. The theme of the thesis is the new family viticulture in the village Velké Němčice for winery Kamil Prokeš. The building will include both production facilities and housing, accommodation for guests and a wine shop with an adjacent tasting room. The building is situated on the outskirts of Velké němčice, where there are old farm buildings and gardens, a football field and a one-storey garage parking lot. The land is unconstructed and currently there are only planted trees. On the sloping land is designed one object, which is divided into several parts. Wine production is located in the basement, which is accessible from the north side and allows the grain and expedition. The above-ground floor consists of three interconnected masses. The central part, where the wine cellar and tasting room are located, is designed as a single-story, glass-covered building with a flat, green roof. On both sides of the building there are two identical, two-storey buildings with a saddle roof, where the western building houses the wineries housing and the eastern accommodation for the guests. All three masses are visually interconnected by the overlapping flat roof of the central object. The unified building, which is completed on the northern and southern side with the terrace for the guests and owners of the winery, is created. In front of the building is a model vineyard, which refines the overall view of the facade of visible concrete and also unambiguously points out the function of the object. The bottom structure is designed as a monolithic reinforced concrete block and the above-ground floor consists of lightweight concrete panels, folded ceiling structures and a roof saddle roof. The central part has a core where the adjoining facilities are located,

Winery Lahofer Dobšice
Davčíková, Gabriela ; Myslín,, Jiří (referee) ; Dýr, Petr (advisor) ; Utíkalová, Ivana (advisor)
The objective of this Bachelor Thesis is the designof the Lahofer winery in Dobšice,a new building near Znojmo. The Bachelor Thesis expands and specifies an architectural study which I drafted as my AG33 subject during the summer semester of my second year (i.e.up to the level of Documentation for Planning Permission and Documentation for Execution of the Project). The tasked assignment is to design a winemaking house with amain production part, which allows for production from 750 thousand to 1 million bottlesper year, and to design an administrative part with premises for temporary workers. Other part includes a restaurant and public accommodations. A sloping terrain influences the whole design. So as not to give the impression of monumental dimensions the object is embedded into the ground as well. The exterior of the building appears as three interlocking blocks where in each block has its own purpose. The original idea was to construct the building parallel to the major axis, which is formed by the road. The production part meets this requirement. The administrative part is situated such that a partly roofed handling courtyard is created. From this courtyard, there is an entry point for employees and temporary workers as well as for the dispatching of goods and purchasing. The third part, where the restaurant and guest accommodations are situated, makes up the first floor. This block is situated such that a view of the surrounding vineyards is offered and simultaneously creates a terrace with entry to the restaurant. There is a fire escape going from the main production part as well. The façade is a combination of two contrasting materials,(i.e. structured concrete slabs and facade panels known as “Cor-ten”). Lastly, a staircase sheathing offers space for the company name and logo, “Vinařství Lahofer“, which can plainly be seen directly from the access road.
WINE HOUSE NIKOLSBURG MIKULOV
Kotoulková, Leona ; Macháčková, Šárka (referee) ; Dýr, Petr (advisor)
The topic of the diploma thesis is the design of a representative building of the Nikolsburg winery, which decided to get rid of the role of mediator of the grapes supply for another winery to produce its own wine. This building is to house a four-star hotel for thirty people, a tasting room with a view of the barrique barrels, a restaurant for forty people and a small wellness area. This newly designed building is located in the outskirts of Mikulov between the nature reserves Turold and Růžový vrch. The basic concept was created depending on the slope of the terrain and the orientation to the cardinal directions. I also tried my best to take advantage of attractive views and limit the view of the technical zone, which is located southwest of the plot. The façade made of ceramic fittings from the Flexbrick company helps me with this intention. An important expressive element of the building is the division of the last floor with hotel rooms, which are oriented to the surrounding landmarks - Mikulov with the Holy Hill and Růžový vrch.

Last but not least, the thesis identifies possible risks for business in the wine sector.
Architecture in Landscape - Winery
Koláček, Petr ; Boleslavská, Yvona (referee) ; Urbášková, Hana (advisor)
The beautiful landscape arises winery that blends in with the surrounding landscape. The building is situated on the west side of Strachotín, Zadní láty, the place for me very attractive. The edge of the field are receding and there is the corner into which I placed the winery. There are two routes to the winery, one paved road through vines for the production and cars of visitors from the north and one from the cycle path along the waterfront reservoir Věstonická rises the footbridge to the winery. The building using the terrain configuration and working with it. For example, there is the possibility easiest way down the hill to the waterfront and cycle path.
