The design of the training programme for field social workers in excluded localities

The thesis "The construction of an educational program for field social workers in excluded areas" focuses in its topic on one of the social work approach - field social work. It addresses the field social work performed in the areas in the Usti region which are labelled as "socially excluded Roma areas" and primarily addresses the personality of social worker and his or her professional competencies. The aim of the thesis is a construction of an educational program reflecting knowledge, skills and competencies needed for effective and high quality professional performance. I based this topic on knowledge from the field social work, work with ethnic minority approaches and andragogy. I also included topic of Roma people focused on specific needs of Roma arising from their history, culture and tradition. I also mention recent situation in social exclusion of Roma people in the Czech Republic. I analyze the knowledge, summarize it and strive to make a comprehensive view on this specific category of social work. I use a professiography - a method of systematic collecting of knowledge about profession to ensure that the educational program reflects not only the needs of target group but also the needs of field social workers. Free time programs for Roma

The bachelor thesis introduces various organizations that deal with the problematics of the Roma ethnic group. It is focused on the contemporary situation of the Roma and for Roma organisations in the Czech Republic, their provided services and the way of their financial support. The work also gives information of the representative organizations which provide mainly free time programs for Roma kids and teenagers and it introduces their particular activities. The essential meaning of streetwork and the institutions focused on the children and teenagers from the socially weak environment is explained here as well. The problematics of Roma children educational proces is also mentioned. The practical part of the thesis concentrates on the Daytime centre for the kids and teenagers in Žďár nad Sázavou. Its contemporary condition and merit of the programmes are evaluated here.
The role of women in streetework team

The work focuses on the different approaches, theories, trends, and specifics of women's motivation and reasons to join social field work. In the empirical part of the work, we focused on finding out the paths of women to field work, their initial motivation and explore the topics of sexual and bullying behaviour, safety, and the importance of supervision. The research was carried out to prepare this diploma thesis. In this context, the aim of the research was to describe the execution of social field work from the perspective of women and analyse their path to this work, their motivation, the issue of sexual and bullying behaviour and safety in the period January-June 2020. Impact of social exclusion on the human psyche

Abstract This work deals with the influence of social marginalization on the human psyche. The theoretical part explores different theories on social marginalization and its influence on the human psyche. Individual themes that build up the social context, namely unemployment, poverty, education as well as health and health care, are also examined in depth. The practical part is based on a questionnaire-guided inquiry that surveys how life in socially marginalized localities influences the human psyche, what particular factors affect the behaviour and experiences of people living in these localities and how choices of free time activities influence acceptance into the community. The results are analyzed and presented with the aid of graphs. Key findings are summed up in the discussion and conclusion. The work seeks to underscore the importance of field work for social workers working with people living in socially marginalized areas, the positive influence of role models, the effects of value orientation and the provision of leisure activities for children and youth in socially marginalized areas.

Outreach Care Servis

This dissertation is about outreach care service in the Czech republic, its history and present situation including the history of legislation. The next mention is about standards of quality social services which are legal obligation. The significant part is to treatise of emergency situations in care service in close link to care service and its survey of its frequency of approaches of carers workers and their solutions. In conclusion there is an aim to suggest universal set of methods how to deal with these situations.
Phenomenon of homelessness in context of welfare services offer in Benešov city.

The aim of this diploma thesis is to familiarize with offer of welfare services for homeless people in Benešov City on the basis of theoretical knowledge and information about phenomenon of homelessness. Also to show the influence of social services offer on the life of homeless person, to call attention to other connections and importance of a form of social service help in a role of low-cost daily centre, doss-houses and field services for people without shelter. For research part of the thesis was chosen a qualitative research for its possibilities to examine some specific broadly defined phenomenon and to bring sufficient amount of information about it. Case study method was used. Results of the research part are summarized in the end. The effect of use of social services offer for homeless people in Benešov city on the quality of their lives is exposed. Discovered conclusions point out to importance of help and support which is offered through social services.
The Influence of state policy of employment to persons under the age of 26

The purpose of the Diploma thesis "The influence of state policy of employment to persons under the age of 26" is to define a group of young unemployment individuals with elementary and high education with certificate of apprenticeship. The thesis describes tools of employment policy, which influences the target group of people. The practical goal of the thesis is to conduct qualitative survey inside the user group of streetwork programme for children and young adults in the Cerny Most area. The users of the programme are target group in the thesis. The main purpose of the survey is to find out, what are the experiences of the users with jobs searching and with specific active tools of employment policy. The results of survey are analyzed and conclusions with recommendations are made. Field social work in vulnerable families

This thesis treats the service "Field Social Work in vulnerable families" provided by Diakonie of the Evangelical Church of Czech Brethren - The Center of Christian Aid in Prague. This service is regarded as one of the most effective types of interventions to vulnerable families. The support of such families is based both on the concept of social functioning and related life situations, as well as on the approaches and concepts (paradigms of social work) of the specific field social workers. The process of evaluating the life situation of a family is rather a difficult one which until today has not been standardized throughout the Czech Republic. On the 1st January 2013 a new Decree No. 473/2012 Coll. came into force, introducing a form designed for evaluating the life situations of a child. Since then there has been an ongoing reform in the Department of Social and Legal Protection of Children. The service Field social work in vulnerable families would like to follow this reform. That is why it is necessary to map the present state of evaluating life situations of families with children in our Service and use the results in order to create an effective and efficient method for future work.
