Apartment building

The subject of this bachelor's thesis is the design of a new apartment building and the elaboration of project documentation for the construction. The apartment building is located on the southern outskirts of the city of Brno in the Brno - Jih district, in the part of the village Přízřenice on flat terrain. The building is designed as a free-standing building with four above-ground floors and one underground floor completely sunk below ground level. In the underground part of the apartment building there is a technical background of the building and individual cellar cubicles for the housing units. There are twelve residential units in the above-ground part of the building, three units on each floor. Housing units on the ground floor are complemented by terraces, housing units on other floors are complemented by balconies and loggias. A barrier-free entrance to the building is designed. An elevator is also designed in the building. The above-ground part of the apartment building is made of Porotherm ceramic blocks and insulated with a contact thermal insulation system. The external load-bearing walls in the basement are monolithic made of reinforced concrete. The horizontal load-bearing structures are made of monolithic reinforced concrete slabs. A single-skin flat roof is designed for the apartment building. The building is based on foundation strips. The building is designed parking with a sufficient number of parking spaces. The house is designed according to the requirements for buildings with almost zero energy consumption. Such a requirement has been achieved through heat recovery and building envelope parameters.

The objective of this bachelor’s thesis is to create a design of a new building which is a block of flats which corresponds with the level of project documentation for construction. It is a four-storey apartment building containing a basement which will be built in Olomouc – Povel on the street Jeremiášova. Altogether 19 housing units will be available for the total of 39 residents. Further there will be 14 parking spots (8 spots in the underground parking, 6 spots for outdoor parking). A cellar cubicle is assigned to each apartment in the first floor. A transverse masonry made of ceramic blocks was selected as a structural system in overhead floors and from concrete block in the basement. The whole object is insulated by a contact thermal insulation system.
Low-floor apartment house

The subject of the bachelor thesis is a new building of a low floor apartment house located in Zlín-Mladcová 555/3. It is a two-storey and partially basement building with a single-skin flat roof based on the base passages. A total of 6 housing units are designed. Three on the first floor with sizes 2x 2 + KK, 3 + KK and three on the second floor with sizes 2 + KK, 3 + KK, 4 + KK. On the first floor there are flats with barrier-free access and there is a stroller storage and a cleaning room. In the basement there are cellars for all apartments. There is also a drying room, a storage for house maintenance, a boiler room and a bike storage. The masonry of the building is designed from ceramic blocks Porotherm except of the perimeter basement masonry where lost formwork is used. The ceiling structure is made of MIAKO brick inserts and ceramic-concrete ceiling POT beams. The house is located on the outskirts of the city Zlín in a quiet area.
Apartment building

The bachelor´s thesis describes the design of apartment building in Valašské Meziříčí (district Vsetín). It is a detached, wheelchair accessible building with partial basement, on a slightly sloping terrain. The apartment building has one basement and four above-ground floors. The shape of the building is rectangle with dimensions 35,15 x 21x2 m. Consists of a total of 14 residential units. On the first, second and third floors there are 4 apartments, on the fourth floor there are only 2 apartments. The building is designed as a transverse wall construction system using brick blocks. The ceilings structure is made of concrete prefabricated panels and the roof is designed as a warm flat roof. The bachelors´s thesis includes project documentation in the state for the construction.
Implementation of Roof of Apartment Building in Olomouc

The subject of this bachelor's thesis is the solution of the technological stage of the roofing of an apartment building in Olomouc. This work includes accompanying and summary technical report, solution of wider transport relations, time plans, item budgets, technical management of construction site equipment, health and safety, control and test plans, technological regulations and staff balances. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to compare selected variants of roofing in terms of subjective, financial and time.

The subject of the thesis is the new construction of an administrative building and a production hall, which will be connected to each other. The administrative building is considering three above--ground floors, the smaller production hall will have only one floor. The building will fulfill the function of a local amenities and at the same time will have a production character for the purpose of the builder's profit. The main purpose of the work is the design of layout, structural and material solutions.

The subject of the bachelor’s thesis is project documentation of new appartment building in Znojmo on street Trentská. Designed building is similiar to surrounding existing buildings, the house is four storeyed, with basement and recessing last storey with flat roof. Every above-ground floor has three residential units of categories one to three rooms with open-plan kitchen with the exception of last floor, where’s one bigger residential unit of three room category with open-plan kitchen. Residential unit n.3 in 1st floor is designed for person with reduced mobility. Designed appartment building is built with modern technologies, load-bearing walls of above-ground part of the building are made from clay blocks in 2in1 and AKU variants. Underground part of the building is made from structural formwork with concrete and rod reinforcement. Building’s foundation will be made of cast-in-place concrete strip footing with reinforced concrete floor slab. Load-bearign part of ceiling construction is made of reinforced concrete ceiling slab. Staircase is also made as reinforced concrete slab with stair steps made of concrete.
Municipal Office Building in Předboj

The subject of the diploma thesis is the design of the construction of a multifunc-tional building of the municipal building in Předboj and the elaboration of the construction documentation. The proposed building is located near the existing village center. The building is designed on undeveloped land, which forms an im-aginary boundary between the existing buildings from the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century and the new buildings from the beginning of the 21st century. The architectural character suitably combines the character of the original development with gabled roofs with modern elements characterizing the new development. The building is divided into two wings. The east wing is one-storey and houses the premises of the municipal office. The west wing is mul-ti-storey. In the basement there are the technical facilities of the municipal office, on the first floor there are the library and the ceremonial hall. The attic is intended for the detached workplace of the basic art school.
Guesthouse with Restaurant

The diploma thesis deals with the proposal of a new guesthouse with a restaurant. The building is located in a slightly sloping terrain in the cadastral area of the village Vlasatice Brno-venkov in the South Moravian Region in the Czech Republic. The ground-plan shape of the building is mostly rectangular with folded facade parts. It is a partially basement building, to a lesser extent, recessed below ground level with three above-ground floors. The pension has a total of 22 rooms with a total capacity of 46 persons for short-term accommodation. Four rooms on the first floor are designed as wheelchair accessible. For the proper operation of the pension there is a reception on the first floor and an office with the appropriate meeting room on the second floor. One-storey part of the building consists of a restaurant with a capacity of 76 persons, which is designed as a frame skeleton with intensive vegetation single-skin flat roof. The preparation and meals and service of the restaurant is ensured by the kitchen together with its operations and respective warehouses located on the first floor. The basement is used primarily for the operation of the guesthouse, which is located air-conditioning engine room, utility room, workshop or warehouse. The building is for the most part bricked and the peripheral, internal bearing or partition walls are made of polished ceramic blocks porotherm. External walls are insulated with contact insulation system ETICS of gray EPS polystyrene. The glazed Schüco façade is used as the shell of the skeleton structure. The construction of the ceiling is composed of filigree ceiling panels and a singlelayer flat roof with a slope of 3% is used for roofing the building. The thesis contains project documentation for the realization of the construction.
