Abstact Author Štěpán Fulín Thesis supervisor: PhDr. Lenka Žáková, Ph.D. Title: Case study of physiotherapeutic care of a patient after osteosynthesis of tibial plateau fracture. Objectives: The aim of this bachelor thesis is to elaborate a detailed case study of physiotherapeutic care of a patient diagnosed with osteosynthesis of tibial plateau fracture and to analyse theoretical knowledge from the literature concerning this diagnosis. Methods: This bachelor thesis is divided into two parts. The first part is theoretical and describes the anatomical and kinesiological context of the knee joint, and discusses the knowledge from the field of traumatology and rehabilitation of the specific diagnosis. The special part of the thesis is based on the professional practice that took place at the Centrum léčby pohybového aparátu Vysočany. This part contains a detailed case report of a patient with the mentioned diagnosis. The case report includes an initial and final kinesiological analysis, short-term and long-term physiotherapy plan, a record of the individual therapies and at the end is summarized the effect of the therapy. Michaela Stupková Title: Case study of physiotherapy care for a patient after total knee arthroplasty Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to elaborate theoretical knowledge regarding total knee joint endoprosthesis and discuss its treatment from the prespective of physiotherapy. At the same time, elaborate the course of physiotherapy care for the patient with this diagnosis. Methods: The thesis was divided into a theoretical and a special part. The theoretical part is devoted to information and knowledge about the diagnosis of total knee arthroplasty. In a special part, a case report of physiotherapy care of a selected patient from concurrent professional practice at the Nemocnice Vršovice in Prague was recorded. In a special part, the initial kinesiology examination, the course of 9 therapeutic units with the patient, the final kinesiology examination and finally the effect of the therapy is evaluated. Results: The patient's physiotherapy care was without complications. During 9 therapies, the patient's condition improved. More detailed results of the therapy are written in the chapter entitled evaluation of the effect of the therapy. The thesis focuses on the theoretical part, which addresses the issues related to this topic and provides an overview of suitable physiotherapeutic procedures for this condition, as well as the practical part, which presents a specific case study and the results of care provided to the patient. Methods: The theoretical part of the thesis is conducted through a literature research focusing on the anatomy and kinesiology of the shoulder joint area and humerus. It also describes the classification of fractures, treatment options (conservative vs. surgical), and subsequent rehabilitation after fractures. The practical part provides a detailed description of a specific case study of a patient after a fracture of the proximal humerus. v Abstract Title: Case study of physical therapy treatment of a patient after ischemic stroke with right hemiparesis Objective: The aim of my bachelor thesis is to provide a comprehensive theoretical overview of ischemic stroke and to present a case study of physiotherapeutic care for a specific patient with this diagnosis in the special section. Method: This thesis comprises a theoretical part and a special part. The theoretical section focuses on compiling knowledge about ischemic stroke using scholarly literature and current resources. The special part addresses a case study of physiotherapeutic care for a specific patient who has suffered an ischemic stroke. It includes anamnesis, initial kinesiological analysis, short term and long term physiotherapeutic plans, daily records of therapies, and final kinesiological analysis, as well as an assessment of the therapeutic outcomes. Results: Based on theoretical foundations, physiotherapeutic care was applied, which led to an improvement in self-sufficiency, increased muscle strength, enhanced stability, greater range of motion, and reduced pain in the shoulder joint. V Abstrakt Název: Kazuistika fyzioterapeutické péče o pacienta po reverzní totální endoprotéze ramenního kloubu. Cíl práce: Cílem této práce je teoretické zpracování problematiky reverzní náhrady ramenního kloubu a vytvoření kazuistiky fyzioterapeutické péče o pacientku s touto diagnózou, včetně zhodnocení efektu terapie. Metoda: Teoretická část této práce pojednává o reverzní artroplastice ramenního kloubu, její problematice a následné rehabilitaci. Praktická část je založena na kazuistice pacientky s touto diagnózou. Kazuistika je výsledkem mé klinické stáže v Medicentru Praha, a.s., kde jsem měl možnost pracovat s pacientkou po dobu 10 po sobě jdoucích terapeutických jednotek. Jako součást praktické části této práce bylo provedeno komplexní vstupní kineziologické vyšetření spolu s popisem denní terapie, výstupním kineziologickým vyšetřením a následným shrnutím a hodnocením terapeutického účinku. Výsledky: Spolupráce mezi mnou a pacientkou trvala přesně 10 pracovních dní. Za tuto dobu pacientka dosáhla zvýšení rozsahu pohybu spolu se zvýšením svalové síly, zmírnění bolesti, a také získání patřičné soběstačnosti po relativně čerstvé operaci. Methods: In the theoretical part, data collection from scientific literature concerning pertrochanteric femur fractures, their treatment, and patient care is utilized. Subsequently, the various physiotherapeutic methods applied in therapy with the patient are described. A special section focuses on managing therapeutic sessions with the patient after a pertrochanteric femur fracture, including initial and final examinations and evaluating the therapy's effect. The case study was developed based on continuous professional practice at the Léčebné a rehabilitační středisko Chvaly from January 8 to February 2, 2024. I Abstract Author: Ondřej Peleška Title: Case report of physiotherapeutic care of a patient after transfemoral amputation Objectives: To provide a comprehensive overview and analysis of amputation in the lower limb region with a focus on transfemoral amputation. To present the current surgical procedures, rehabilitation methods, psychological aspects and prosthetic solutions, and then to develop a case report of physiotherapy care of a patient after transfemoral amputation. Methods: The theoretical part of this bachelor's thesis was elaborated with the help of scientific literature and scientific articles available mainly online. At the same time, services based on the use of artificial intelligence were used, namely Evidence Hunt, Microsoft Copilot for Institutions, Connected Papers and DeepL. The special part of this thesis was prepared using practical skills within the scope of the bachelor's degree in physiotherapy during my continuous professional placement in the medical facility of Nemocnice Na Homolce. A case report of physiotherapeutic care of a patient after total knee arthroplasty

The bachelor thesis is focused on the issue of total knee arthroplasty (TKA). It is divided into two main parts: theoretical and methodical. The theoretical part deals with basic anatomical and kinesiological properties of the knee joint, the problem of knee osteoarthritis, and TKA as an effective method for addressing its final stage. The methodical part of the thesis is conducted in the form of a case study of a patient who underwent physiotherapeutic care after TKA implantation. During the physiotherapeutic intervention, methods and approaches corresponding to the knowledge acquired in the bachelor's degree program of physiotherapy were utilized. Thanks to the applied physiotherapeutic care, improvement in the functional status of the patient was observed in almost all monitored criteria.
