Search of Corresponding Objects in a Pair of Images
Vrbenský, Andrej ; Herman, David (referee) ; Orság, Filip (advisor)
This thesis is aimed on area of stereoscopy. At first, there is  some space dedicated to stereoscopic theory, primarily to seaching of corresponding objects in a stereo image pair. Main attention is given to template matching methods, which are based on intesity comparison. Then we try to optimize these methods with SIMD SSE instructions and run some tests with image examples. These methods are implemented in C++ and also in assembly language.
Common Image Stereo-Pair Processing for Simple Stereo-Geometry
Peloušek, Jan ; Schimmel, Jiří (referee) ; Říha, Kamil (advisor)
This Bachelor´s thesis considers the basics of epipolar geometry, explains the process of the automatic correspondency detection, describes principals of the fundamental matrix computation and finally the virtual camera view morphing between two images. There were described some of the basic Intel´s OpenCV library functions joined with this issue and describes de facto the computer stereo-pair processing. As a part of this thesis, there is the application, programmed in the C++ language in the Borland C++ Builder 6.0 developer´s environment by using the OpenCV library. This application demonstrates some of here-mentioned terms such as the fundamental matrix computation and the virtual camera view morphing. In relation to the Borland C++ Builder 6.0 using there was described the integration method of OpenCV to this environment.
Optimization of parameters of the optical system of reflected-light digital holographic microscope.
Dostál, Zbyněk ; Jonáš, Alexandr (referee) ; Antoš, Martin (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the construction design of reflective type of holographic microscope together with the proposal for the mechanical imposition of optical elements. Thesis contains parts where the illumination beam tracing through the optical system is calculated and discussed, followed up with the accuracy requirements for rectification mechanisms and their design. The three-dimensional model of modularly solved microscope is presented in conclusion of this thesis together with selected microscope sub-assemblies.
3D shape from camera pair
Bastl, Jiří ; Horák, Karel (referee) ; Richter, Miloslav (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to create methods for obtaining 3D data from 2D images. This data will be used as an input data for algorithms which will process them into data formats creating 3D perception. In this work problem of rectification when we compare one image according to the other is solved as well as the problem of calculation of the model of a scene scanned with two cameras.
IR camera data processing
Malík, Dalibor ; Petyovský, Petr (referee) ; Richter, Miloslav (advisor)
The aim of this master’s thesis is to give information about the thermo camera measurement with error minimization. The basic concepts of thermography are explained with an implementation of postprocesing technique which uses graphically modified thermogram back projected to the scene. This is closely related to the scene design, calibration of thermal camera with projector, image rectification, thermogram processing with highlighting of interesting information and implementation of control elements as the user interface. The results obtained are analyzed and re-evaluated.
Online 3D reconstruction
Bastl, Jiří ; Horák, Karel (referee) ; Petyovský, Petr (advisor)
This thesis describes reconstruction of scene which is scan trough two cameras. There are described methods of calibration of cameras system, methods for finding the corners and methods for finding correspondences. Corners are searched by FAST detector and for search correspondences are used normalized cross correlation. In the framework of 3D reconstruction is implemented rectification. The final shape is saved to VRML format. In the thesis are described parallelization options. The calculation of the correlation is optimized for multiprocessors CPU and there are designed implementations of algorithm to GPU and FPGA too.
Energy consumption of equipressure and various pressures technical alcohol distillation
Audy, Dan ; Leštinský, Pavel (referee) ; Smejkal, Quido (advisor)
This hork compares the heat consumption of two units for the production of technical alcohol. The aim is to compare ordinary arrangement of rectifying distillery with an alternative arrangement, based on a modified pressure device profile. The first unit is based on the classic arrangement brewhouse, working at atmospheric pressure. The alternative unit works with different pressures in columns. In this case, the pressures are chosen so that it was possible to use heat from the head of overpressure rectification column for reboiler of vacuum mash column. The principle of pressure differences between the two columns and appropriate choice for this difference also allows the beneficial use of surplus heat. It also reduces the risk of clinkering incrusts in reboiler mash column because this works at lower temperatures than the mash column atmospheric embodiment. The comparisons of the media in this work are: The amount of steam used for reboilers of both columns, the amount of cooling water used for condensation and cooling of process streams. Furthermore, an approximate estimate of electricity consumption for pumps and other machinery. For both units is considered the same amount of mash and the same amount of product of comparable quality. The product was a technical alcohol 96.4% aa at a temperature of 25 ° C.
Design of technological set of device for production of bioethanol with a yearly capacity up to 500 000 litres.
SLANINKA, Milan
This bachelor thesis deals with the production of bioethanol for the use as fuel. The first theoretical part describes the process of the bioethanol production from the commonly grown cereals, then it focuses on the sources and characteristics of materials that can be used for the bioethanol production, it also follows the legal burden put on such production. The other part of the thesis contains the design of the technological set of devices for the bioethanol production with a given capacity of the yearly production.
Ion Current Rectification Behavior at Novel Borosilicate Glass Capillaries
Silver, Barry Richard ; Holub, Karel ; Mareček, Vladimír
We present an easy methodology to produce novel, robust and reusable borosilicate glass microcapillaries. Using these capillaries we investigate ion current rectification behavior using DC and AC electrochemical techniques. We find that two non-ohmic behaviors can manifest. The presence of low frequency inductive loops on the Nyquist plot tentatively suggests electrokinetic mass transport processes may be present at the capillary wall.
