Analysis of critical situations at solving verbal tasks for pupils in first grade of elementary school

The aim of this document is to familiarize first grade elementary school readers with the critical points in solving word problems in mathematics and to analyze various problem- solving strategies in concrete tasks. Primarily, the document is focused on determining pupils' difficulties and acquiring information about the problem-solving process through a written record of the solution and subsequent in-depth interviews. The theoretical part is divided into six sections dealing with terminology (e.g. word problem) and the areas influencing success in the solution of word problems and partial processes. The practical part contains an analysis of each pupil's solutions and a description of phenomena found in them, together with the grading teacher's help. Analysis of exercises in reading-books for 9th class of primary school

RESUMÉ The essence of this thesis is to compare selected reading books or workbooks in terms of the accompanying questions and issues. The work is theoretically based on the characteristics of the pubescent reader and also Bloom's taxonomy, classification and results in international tests like PISA etc. The thesis is also examining the readers' literacy. Its definition is changing in time. Literacy is not only focusing on the knowledge, but also plays an important role in integrating into society. It is a complex of several dimensions (relationship to reading, literal understanding, deduction, metacognition, sharing and application). Each of the components is indispensable. Five reading books of the 9th year of elementary school from different publishers (SPN, New School, Fraus, Alter) were analyzed. Two reading books are published by SPN, but each represents a different approach (the older one is based on the school curriculum, newer relates to teaching according to the RVP ZV). It was not a representative analysis of the whole supply of current reading books, but only a selected sample. Analysis of Classroom Comunication by German Language Teaching in Second Stage of Basic Education

Thesis entitled ?Analysis of educational communication in the lessons of German language at the second degree of elementary school? contains a theoretical and an empirical part. Its aim is to find out whether the pupils of this type of school have a sufficient space for their communication. In order to investigate this fact, there will be watching of the teaching of German lessons. This method is also enriched by interviewing students and their teachers. The research will be held at two elementary schools. Based on the obtained results, there will be compared both schools. In this thesis is explained the issues of communication. The most common and the best-known definitions of communication appear there. It is composed largely of types of communication and a big attention is paid to teaching communication. We cannot forget the methods and forms of teaching, which are used by the teacher in German lessons. Very important is also the individual work of students, in which they will practice and learn the discussed schoolwork. The aim of this work is to find out the issues of communication and possibilities to use the organizational forms of teaching and methods for improvement of teaching of German lessons.
MODAL VERBS CAN, MAY, MUST. THE FORMS AND USE.

This thesis deals with a closed class of modal verbs, both in terms of morphological-syntactic and in terms of functional-semantic. It explores the common formal features with the auxiliary verbs and their use in contemporary English. The work is divided into a theoretical part classifying the issues of modal verbs and a practical part focusing on practising the theory which has been mentioned. The practical part is further divided into several levels from the simplest to the most difficult. The conclusion of the work is formed by a summary test containing three parts and their evaluations.
