The impact of unemployment on a number of rapes in The Czech Republic

In my thesis I explore the impact of unemployment on a number of rapes in The Czech Republic. I use annual panel data of The Czech Republic for districts and regions for the period 2005 - 2011. I want to prove the hypothesis about positive correlation between the number of rapes and the unemployment rate. The second question is whether this dependence is more significant in the case of unemployment rate of men. The analysis was based on panel data by ordinary least squares. I found a positive relationship between basic variables in terms of district but not in the case of regions. I did not find significant effect of the unemployment rate of men.

Cluster analysis of destricts of the Czech Republic ecording to demographic indicators

Master thesis deals with dividing destricts of the Czech Republic in to clusters acording to demographic indicators during the year 2011. After the theoretical introduction with exploratory data analyiss, factor analysis and cluster analysis is described practical implementation of agglomerative hierarchical clustering. Within the frame cluster analysis we compare results calculated by four methods of clustering, which are the single linkage method, the complete linkage method, the average linkage method and Ward's method. At the conclusion we select the method which divides destricts of the Czech Republic in to the clusters the best. Master thesis includes a prezentations of discovere results with the help of dendrograms and cartograms. The analysis were carried out with the help of the statistical program STATISTICA.

Analysis of the Czech population mortality by causes of death

The main aim of this thesis is an analysis of mortality by causes of death in the districts of the Czech Republic. The work also makes an effort to demonstrate certain dependence between mortality and socioeconomic factors. The first part introduces readers to the issue of mortality and causes of death. This part describes its development, terminology and demographic indicators. The second part contains an analysis of mortality by cause of death in the last ten years. The work also contains the factor and cluster analyses which show dependencies between mortality and socioeconomic factors.

VZTAHY CENY BYDLENÍ A EKONOMICKÝCH UKAZATELŮ

Tato práce se zabývá problematikou státních zásahů do ekonomiky a jejich souvislostí s cenou bydlení. Jak intenzivní jsou vztahy mezi ekonomickými ukazateli a ukazateli ceny bydlení. Jakým způsobem ovlivňuje stát ekonomické aspekty a aspekty bydlení. Na základě statistického porovnání vztahů mezi jednotlivými ukazateli a modelování vzájemného ovlivňování těchto ukazatelů pojednává tato práce o vhodnosti státních zásahů. Hlavním aspektem je cena bydlení, která charakterizuje ekonomickou úroveň regionu. Regionem se konkrétně rozumí jednotlivé okresy NUTS 4. Zkoumání vztahů a jejich vzájemného ovlivňování má odpovědět na vhodnost státu tyto ukazatele regulovat a do nich zasahovat.
