Horák, Lukáš ; Musálek, Martin (advisor) ; Kokštejn, Jakub (referee)
Title: Frequency of normal weight obese preschool children and its physical fitness - selected populations of children from 6 Prague kindergartens. Objectives: The goal of this thesis is to find out the occurence and physical fitness of preschool age children with normal weight obese and compare it with physical fitness of normal weight non-obese preschool children and children with overweight and obese. Methods: Observation is the main method used in this thesis (regarding to title). We analysed 289 preschool aged children and chose BMI index in the range of 25th to 80th percentil, according to Vignerova at al. (2006) along with values of each skinfold higher then 85th percentil according to Bláha et al. (1990), to identify normal weight obese children. Physical fitness was based on several tests: multistage 20 metre shuttle run, standing long jump, sit-ups, sit- and-reach, throw ball with alternative hands. To analyse all the facts and get results we used descriptive statistics, tests of normaltity and ANOVA. Results: We identified n = 12 normal weight obese children (4,15 %) from all participating children. Results of research showed us that normal weight obese children were worse than normal weight non-obese children by 5,80 %, respectively by 4,76 %. Children that were overweight and obese had...
Motoric Performance and Somatic Characteristics of Professional Firefighters
RYCHTÁŘOVÁ, Veronika
The aim of the work was to determine the motor performance and the physical dimensions of professional firefighters aged 25-35. From the measured values were selected the basic somatic signs, which were the body height and body weight and the circumferential dimensions from which were chosen chest disturbances, contracted arms, thighs and calves, as well as skin algae, from which the skin algae were selected biceps, triceps, subskapular , quadriceps, forearms and chest. The force of the right and left hand was detected by dynamometry. Bodystat has calculated the BMI, fat, active body mass and body water. The bachelor thesis also shows the values of the Ruffier exam. The findings were compared with the results of previous research.

Title: Changes in motor performance of competition level adolescent and adult football players during winter training period. Objectives: The objective of this thesis is to confirm the efficacy of winter training on changes of motor performance by measuring and comparing topical condition of the players with the help of initial and final somatic and fitness parameters diagnostics of two football teams (adult men and adolescents) that compete in football competitions at similar amateur level and by comparing the achieved results. Methods: The methods used were measuring, comparison and data analysis. The assessment of motor performance of individual players was based on the series of tests UNIFITTEST 6-60 that was complemented with tests of specific football skills: long distance kick and heavy ball throw. Results: The conclusion is that during the winter training period that took 8 weeks included 16 training sessions and several training matches, the proposed training plan affected positively the motor performance of the tested players. The most substantial advance was recorded in 2 km run and long distance kick tests in which 96% of players significantly improved. The Bílé Podolí players improved their run time by 27 seconds on average and the Vrdy players improved by 21 seconds on average. In the...
Assessment of motor performance in primary school age
Polívka, Tomáš ; Bunc, Václav (advisor) ; Musálek, Martin (referee)
Title: Assessment of motor performance in primary school age Objective: The work had to determinate the condition of motor performance children. Children were from 7 to 11 years old. We wanted to demonstrate increase of motor performance as consequence of natural evolution. We investigated the condition of motor performance and a level of motor abilities. Methods: The main method was the test battery Unifittest 6- 60. This battery showed basic motor performance. We found the condition of movement regime of questionnaire. Results: Bmi moves in a normal category. The basic motor performance moves below average. Girls have the worst results in 11 years. Boys have the worst results in 10 years. Girls have the best results in 7 years. Boys have the best results in 8 years. Motor performace decreases with age. Movement regime don't neglected. The most children visit sports club at least once a week (42,9%). Some children visit sports clubs 3-4 times a week (37%). The most favorite sports are colective games, dancing and swimming. Conclusion: The results show decline of basic motor performance. Dominant physical abilities don't evolve in revelant age. Movement regime isn't neglected, but regime doesn't suffice for development. Children choose of many activities. Children commute to activities often. Key...

Stehlík, Jiří ; Kokštejn, Jakub (advisor) ; Hráský, Pavel (referee)
Title: The evaluation of motor performance in football in category of older children Objectives: The goal of the thesis is to identify and evaluate a level of the motor performance of the older preparatory category in the football club Xaverov. Methods: The main scientific methods of theoretical - empiric character are in-field testing and observation. The research group contained of seventeen nine- year old soccer players of older preparatory group (9,7 ± 0,2 years). To evaluate the physical capability examined kids passed UNIFITTEST 6-60. The MABC-2 motoric test helped to find out the basic motoric level. BMI index and the sum of the skin fold thickness were both used to evaluate the body content. Basic descriptive statistics (the arithmetic average and standard deviation) and correlation analysis were used to analyse gained data. Results: The found level of the physical capability was average. Even though 10 out of 17 players gained above average value in UNIFITTEST 6-60. Young football players gained above average score in evaluation of aiming and catching abilities (AC), and slightly below average score in evaluation of the balancing ability (BAL) in comparison with the standard for Czech kids of the same age. Significant correlation were found between the total UNIFITTEST score and the amount...
Physical growth and efficiency of preschool children regarding motion mode
Kohoutová, Hana ; Dvořáková, Hana (advisor) ; Engelthalerová, Zdeňka (referee)
This diploma thesis deals with comparing the level of physical growth and basic motor skills of preschool children, their motion mode and the conditions for movement activities in two kindergartens located in different municipalities (in a city and in a town). The aim of the study was to determine the level of growth and motor performance of preschool children in relation to the motion mode at their residence. The study included 116 children aged 4-6. The level of physical growth was assessed by measuring somatic characteristics of children (height, weight, BMI). The data extracted from the study were compared to percentile charts. The level of motor performance was assessed by sensory tests. In the case of basic motor skills there was chosen 20 ms run with standing start for the testing of speed capability, for the evaluation of explosive strength abilities was selected jump from the spot with two legs reflection, the testing of explosive strength of the upper limbs was exercised by a ball throw by both right and left hand. At the same time, these tests show the level of motor performance of preschool children. To map the conditions of the motor development of preschool children, an analysis of the conditions of the two municipalities and an analysis of the conditions and the education plan of...

The aim of the study was to determine the level of growth and motor performance of preschool children in relation to their residence. The level of physical growth was assessed by measuring somatic characteristics of children (height, weight, BMI) and the level of performance of pre-school children was assessed by sensory tests (run 20m, long jump, ball throwing). An analysis of the conditions of the two municipalities and an analysis of the conditions and the education plan of each participating kindergartens in relation to the motion development of children were made. This work shows the possible differences between regions regarding the growth and performance of preschool children. Keywords Physical growth, motor efficiency, preschool child, conditions.
Evaluation of motoric performance by UNIFITTEST pupils the second grade of primary school Grünwaldova in České Budějovice
ČELIKOVSKÝ, Jakub
The aim of the thesis is to identify and assess the level of motor performance in children II. grade elementary school Grünwaldova in České Budějovice. Sports and unsportsmanlike classes were tested with a total of 81 children (45 boys and 36 girls) from 6 to 9 class at the age of 1115 years in the months of May and June 2014. We investigated motoric performance by standardized test battery UNIFITTEST (660), which includes motoric tests by age and sex of the test. We also conducted anthropometric measurements, from which we determined the individuals category of Body Mass Index (BMI). All classes were compared between themselves in tests and measurement. Overall test results showed that 72,8 % of children had average to above-average performance significantly. This research convinced us that the motoric performance of most tested children is very good.
The physical fitness of Youth (9 - 11 aged) live in the country and live in the town
RYBÁROVÁ, Petra
The theme of this work is to compare anthropometric measurements and motor performances of children aged 9-11 years from towns and villages. The results of anthropometric measurements and the found values in the selected motor tests are compared with tables that have been converted to the norms, standards, using a tenpoint scoring scale for motor tests. The statistical significance of the observed values, the differences between the two tested groups of probands, is evaluated by t-test.
