Methodology of road traffic accident investigation Abstract This thesis, entitled "Methodology of Road Traffic Accident Investigation", responds to the long- term high number of road traffic accidents that result in many deaths and serious injuries. The purpose of this thesis is to provide readers with up-to-date and comprehensive information on the issues and specifics of road traffic accident investigation. The thesis also presents a number of planned innovations and proposals that could significantly reduce the occurrence of road traffic accidents and thus increase safety on Czech roads. The thesis is designed chronologically, with the introductory chapter outlining the theoretical basis and nature of road traffic accidents. In the subsequent chapters, attention is then given to typical clues, investigative situations, peculiarities of the subject matter and stimuli for investigation. The sixth chapter then deals with initial investigative tasks, in which special attention is given to the issue of detecting alcohol in road users. Postavení myslivosti v rámci současné české společnosti

This thesis deals with how the general public perceives hunting and hunting activities. Nowadays, more and more citizens are diverting from their relationship to nature and do not realize that hunting and the overall hunting activity positively contributes to maintaining the balance between nature and man. Also, few people admit that hunting is closely linked to nature protection and is not just about hunting. However, hunting is nowadays an important step towards reducing game numbers, especially because of the considerable damage that is usually caused by game to forest stands. In order to address the aim of the thesis, a questionnaire survey method was used, where two types of questionnaire were designed for different groups of respondents. With the help of this research, it was found that people living in the village have a more positive attitude towards nature and hunting than people living in the city. It was also found that the general public has a 70 % positive perception of deer, despite the fact that this species of game causes considerable damage to forest stands. The analysis also revealed that hunters should focus more on awareness-raising activities to make the general public more aware of their activities.

Methodology of Investigation of Murders Abstract This thesis examined methodology of investigation of murders. As this is a very broad topic, the focus was on selected aspects of the investigation methodology. The introduction of the thesis was devoted to murder from the perspective of law and its comparison with the crime of killing and murder of a newborn child by the mother. The nuances that differentiate them are discussed there. The second chapter focuses on the criminological characteristics of murder. It provides the reader with an insight into the characteristics of the perpetrators of murder and who the victims most often are. The following chapters deal with the individual components of the methodology itself. They describe typical clues as well as investigative situations that criminologists most often encounter in practice. Attention is also paid to the methods of crime scene examination, examination of a corpse and forensic examination. The eighth chapter discusses the planning and organisation of the investigation and the way in which criminal investigators construct versions based on the evidence and clues found, which are then tested. Legal and criminalistic aspects of crime scene investigation in criminal proceedings

This diploma thesis deals with the legal and criminalistic aspects of crime scene investigation in criminal proceedings, This metod is specified in the current legal regulation of section 113, Act No. 141/1961 Coll., Czech Criminal Procedure Code. Crime scene investigation is one the basic procedural acts, which often provides the only information about the investigated crime. Further, this special method provides key evidence leading ultimately to a final decision in the criminal proceedings. There are high demands on criminal authorities to investigate the crime scene. A possible misconduct could lead to the unusability of the investigation of crime scene as evidence in criminal proceedings. This is also highlited by the nature of investigation of crime scene as an urgent and unrepeatable act. The text of this diploma thesis consists of three chapters. In the first chapter, there is general definition of crime scene investigation, its basic characteristics and principles. The following is a brief definition of the legal interpretation and a comparison to the upcoming version of criminal procedure code. Methodology of investigating drug crimes with a focus on production of methamphetamine Abstract This thesis deals with methodology of investigating drug crimes with a focus on production of methamphetamine. Considering the complexity of the mentioned topic, it takes into account substantive and procedural criminal law, criminalistics, criminology and addictology. In the first chapter, in addition to describing the forms, effects and methods of methamphetamine production, with an emphasis on the Czech way of methamphetamine production, the historical genesis of the problem is also presented. The second chapter defines the terms small-scale production, medium-level production and large-scale production in order to increase legal certainty. The thesis draws inspiration from the current methodology of the National Drug Headquarters and the United Nations. This part of thesis also includes a statistical section dealing with the structure of drug crime in terms of prosecutions and seized clandestine laboratories. Methodology for investigation of sex crimes (selected issues)

The presented thesis with the title "Methodology for investigation of sex crimes (selected issues)" aims to comprehensively analyse the crime of rape in relation to criminal law, criminology and forensic science. I focused on the institute of rape, its investigation and specific or problematic aspects tied to it. The thesis is systematically divided into five chapters. The first chapter deals with the historical aspects of rape, the current legal regulation and comparing the Czech legal regulation of rape with its regulation in Slovakia. The second chapter is dedicated to the criminological aspect of rape, in particular to the myths that surround this crime. Further, I described the typology of rape through the lens of criminology and the personality of its perpetrator and victim. In the third chapter, I analyse the forensic nature of rape. I focused on several forensic components of this crime, and that is criminal situations and typical ways of committing rape. The fourth chapter deals with the methodology for investigation of the crime of rape, and which describes typical investigative situations or typical traces related to rape. Serial murder and its investigation

1 Abstract The topic of the thesis is serial murder and its investigation. The aim of the text is to provide a more comprehensive view on the issue of serial murder. Nowadays, the incidence of serial murder is decreasing worlwide. Nevertheless it is still a very topical phenomenon, as it is capable of significantly disrupting the stability of society. The thesis first examines the phenomenon of serial murder from the perspective of internationally accepted definitions and current Czech law. The individual components of the definitions, the distinction between different types of multicide and the historical development of the phenomenon are then analysed. Using two fundamental typologies, the perpetrators of serial are classified based on their behaviour at the crime scene and their motive for the murders. Victims are examined both in terms of general victimology and in terms of the predispositions to become a victim of serial murder. The method of committing serial murder is divided into two components, which are the external observable manifestations of the perpetrator and the psychological processes taking place in his mind. Theoretical part contains detailed description of how Bitcoin cryptocurrency works, it's storage ways and comparison with alternative cryptocurriencies which would be, from technological aspect, more appropriate to use for non-tracable transactions.

Investigative hypothesis Abstract This thesis deals with the topic of investigative hypothesis as a part of criminalistic science and a method of criminalistic practice. The aim of the thesis is to provide a thorough definition and essence of investigative hypothesis, to describe their types, creation, process of verification and proving of versions and last but not least to show their practical significance and use on real criminal cases. The thesis uses the methods of descriptive analysis, comparison and interpretation. In the first chapter of the thesis, the concept of criminalistic versions itself is examined in detail, first through its systematic classification, then through an analysis of its definition put forward by some of the most important figures in criminalistics. Furthermore, the first chapter is devoted to a brief analysis of the concept of the term hypothesis and its relevance to investigative hypothesis. The thesis then goes on to explore the concept further by comparing the method of creating investigative hypothesis with behavioural analysis (criminal profiling) as a method of constructing a profile of an offender. Methodology of rape investigation and its specifics Abstract This diploma thesis is focused on the ever present phenomenon of rape in our modern society, which is the second most hurtful crime, right after murder. Although the victim, unlike in cases of murder, survives most of the time, their wounds (especially the mental ones) often take a lifetime to heal. And yet so little is known about rape and so little is it discussed. The thesis aims to provide a multidisciplinary analysis of rape, from its legal definition and historical context, to the criminological aspects of genesis and prevalence of the crime in society, to an analysis of the specific work of rape investigators, who often have only a very limited amount of evidence at their disposal, while also having to be very sensitive to the specific nature of this crime, for which secondary victimisation of the victim can easily occur, as well as the accusations being potentially false. The first part of the work consists of legal characteristics and definition of rape, including placing today's legislation in historical context.
