Conical Sierpinski monopole
Všetula, Petr ; Pavel,, Hazdra, (referee) ; Raida, Zbyněk (advisor)
The thesis deals with numerical modeling of planar Sierpinski monopole and modified Sierpinski monopole, outgoing from Sierpinski structure. Next, it focuses on modeling of the conical modified monopole and conical Sierpinski monopole created by transferring of modified structure to conical surface. The properties of these multi-band antennas are verified by simulations in CST Microwave Studio 2009 and compared with the results published in available literature. The conical Sierpinski monopole is then optimized according to specified criteria. The optimized antenna is designed and its properties are experimentally verified.
Procedurally Generated Landscape in Fragment Shader
Leitner, Denis ; Milet, Tomáš (referee) ; Chlubna, Tomáš (advisor)
This thesis deals with rendering of procedurally generated landscape without the use of input geometry or textures. It describes techniques for generation and realistic rendering of natural outdoor scenes. These techniques include terrain generation and realistic atmosphere and cloud rendering. Thesis also describes the use of raymarching for terrain and shadow rendering and realistic lighting for terrain which includes ambient and indirect light approximation.
Planar fractal filter on defected ground substrate
Kufa, Martin ; Hazdra, Pavel (referee) ; Raida, Zbyněk (advisor)
The diploma thesis is focused on the design of planar filters combining fractal layouts and defected ground substrates. The diploma thesis can be divided into three main parts. First, basic knowledge about fractals is presented (creation of Minkowski Island and Koch loop, e.g.). Then, the principle of defected ground structure is described, and a combination of fractal motives with a defected ground structure is briefly introduced. Properties of investigated structures are verified by CST Microwave Studio and Ansoft HFSS. Second, different defected ground structures under the 50 transmission line are designed, and conventional equivalent filters are created. Filters are simulated and compared. In final, the investigated filters are recalculated for the substrate Arlon 25N, simulated, manufactured, measured and confronted with a conventional filter on the defected ground substrate.
Fractal capacitors properties
Chvíla, Ladislav ; Sedlák, Petr (referee) ; Hruška, Pavel (advisor)
This work is focused on computer simulations of fractal capacitors. The geometry of capacitors and its influence is investigated. Simulations are realized in programs Matlab, SolidWorks and Comsol Multiphysics. There are also several specific examples of different geometrics of capacitors their comparisons and assessment.
Numerical methods of measurement of fractal dimensions and fractal measures
Space Filling Curves
Staňo, Marek ; Švub, Miroslav (referee) ; Šiler, Ondřej (advisor)
The objective of my work is introduce space filling curves, and try to generalize them to multidimensional spaces. Below are in the work informations about recursive and non-recursive solving of these curves, and usage curves in practice. The main objective is to create program which can draw these curves. Based on theory and practical knowledge I design program, which can compute the coordinates of the curve, and another program which uses these coordinates to draw the curve. To make this I will use programming language C and graphics library Gd.
Cascade Sierpinski monopole
Kadlček, Jiří ; Tkadlec, Roman (referee) ; Všetula, Petr (advisor)
This master’s thesis describes the theoretical analysis of the Sierpinski triangle structure. On the basis of this structure, a planar version of the Sierpinski monopole is firstly designed. Then, by using a transfer of the planar motive to the conical surface, conical and cascade Sierpinski monopoles are designed. All simulations are calculated by CST Microwave Studio 2011. In the thesis, four types of cascade Sierpinski monopole are proposed. The investigated parameters are reflection coefficient, input impedance, radiation properties, polarization and bandwidth. The attention is primarily focused on the design and experimental verification of the selected conical shape cascade Sierpinski monopole set on the bands GSM 900, GSM 1800 and Wi-fi 2,4 GHz.
Fractal of DNA sequence data
Nedvěd, Jiří ; Čech, Petr (referee) ; Valla, Martin (advisor)
This project is looking for fractal structury in DNA sequence data, which be maped in square ACGT. First, this project is introduced in problematics of fractals and targeted on making of Sierpinski gasket. Second, the project is introduced in DNA and DNA sequence. Next is sketched now known fractal’s structures in DNA sequence data or fractal’s structure closed DNA sequence. Then will changed metod chaos game of Sierpinski gasket to square ACGT, in where will drawen map of DNA sequences. Next, these pictures will processed by Box Counting Method and Power Spectrum Method.
Fractal pattern patch antenna
Prouza, Jakub ; Pítra, Kamil (referee) ; Raida, Zbyněk (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the application of fractal layouts in the design of microstrip antennas. Attention is turned to assessing their impact on properties of a conventional patch antenna. The first part of thesis is focused on theoretical knowledge of fractal geometry and planar antennas. In the next part of this thesis, first antenna is describer together with ways of its design. In the final section, next fractal antenna design is given. Proposed antenna is made, the results obtained are compared and benefits of the fractal design are evaluated.
Fractals in Computer Graphics
Heiník, Jan ; Španěl, Michal (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
This Master's thesis deals with history of Fractal geometry and describes the fractal science development. In the begining there are essential Fractal science terms explained. Then description of fractal types and typical or most known examples of them are mentioned. Fractal knowledge application besides computer graphics area is discussed. Thesis informs about fractal geometry practical usage. Few present software packages or more programs which can be used for making fractal pictures are described in this work. Some of theirs capabilities are described. Thesis' practical part consists of slides, demonstrational program and poster. Electronical slides represents brief scheme usable for fractal geometry realm lectures. Program generates selected fractal types. Thesis results are projected on poster.
