How Invitation to a Beheading is Made. Theatrical and Polemic Elements in Vladimic Nabokov's Novel

The work focuses on the analysis of the poetics of Vladimir Nabokov's novel Invitation to a Beheading in terms of its cultural context. Specifically deals with its relation to the Soviet theatrical avant-garde, with mythopoetic symbolism and early avant-garde. We approach to the novel as a parody of the post-revolutionary avant-garde Soviet theater experiments. Special attention is paid to the fact that due to the theatralization of the text, i.e. assimilation of the novel space with the theatricals, diegesis of Invitation to a Beheading is divided into two equal opposing worlds, each of which represents particular poetics. World built around main character of Cincinnatus is comparable to symbolism, namely to the symbol and symbolistic perception of Andrei Bely. The central principle of this reality is semiotization of the world. The surrounding fictional world creates its opposite as it is shaped by the principle of desemiotization which - as a central aspect of formalistic-futuristic avant- garde - systematically dismantles hero's world. However neither of these worlds is winning. In the end it is the synthesis, which helps the hero get emancipated from the novel's world. Formalism in Law

The theme of this thesis is "formalism in law" as a concept that permeates an essential part of modern legal thinking. This work shows that it is usually perceived as a critical concept, but without a clear and steady meaning. In recent times, however, the discussion involving this concept changed so that it now includes individuals positively acknowledging themselves as formalists. An overview of this debate (only marginally concerning the Czech environment yet, however) forms the bulk of the thesis. The second essential part of it is a separate rethinking of the place of formalism in law, in all its aspects - in interpretation and application of law, in the creation of law, even in legal education and legal scholarship. This thesis consists of three unequal parts, the first of which is further divided into three sections. The first part deals with the formalism as a topic of discussion in legal philosophy during the entire 20th century, and the intention is to present this debate to Czech readers. Its first section is devoted to a topic typically linked to criticism of formalism in law in Western legal scholarship, as it presents the American legal realism of the interwar period. The process of creating the concept in teaching geometry.

The aim of the thesis is to gather information related to the concept formation process in geometry. Reading available literature and writing the basic terms and facts on a given subject. Part of the thesis is a collection of exercises related to the principles of the concept formation process and due to revision of Bloom's taxonomy. Then realization of active research. The research detects if the problematics of triangles in five classes of elementary school is taught according to the principles of the concept formation process.

Foreign art exhibitions in Prague 1945 -1953

The thesis will focus on the foreign exhibitions in Prague at prague associations and art galleries betwen yers 1945 - 1953. The heading of every one of chronologicaly sorted chapters will contain a brief insight into the political and cultural situation of Czechoslovakia, which should help the reader to grasp the whole context. The theoretical articles from relevant period will illustrate the shift from "formalism" to socialistic realism as well as types of exhibitions, their historical context and feedback they got from the czechoslovakian artistic community.

Interactive teaching on the elementary school

This thesis deals with implementation of computer technologies to teaching practice of mathematics in the 7th year of elementary school. The thesis is divided into two parts ? a theory and an application. The theory includes the most important knowledge of interactive teaching divided into teaching with interactive whiteboard and computer assisted learning. It also discusses approaches to teaching mathematics as an important part of education and connecting problem solving into education. The application includes worksheets that introduce the usage of interactive issues in education and description of a trial performed in the 7th class of elementary school. Strategies for solving word problems in the course of study in primary school

The main aim of my thesis is the investigation and description of students' strategies for solving word problems at basic schools. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The first part describes the types of word problems at the basic school, pupils? and teaching strategies. There are also explained meaning of terms algorithms and didactic contract. There is also own confrontation of textbooks which are used at secondary schools. The theoretical part is formed the experiment that was performed at the second stage of a basic school in two parallel classes. In the experiment there were entered three types of identical tests for solving word problems. There is judged pupils? improvement, using different strategies and effect of algorithms and didactic contract. In conclusion there are summarized results and knowledge from the experiment.
