Impairment of psychomotor development in children with cerebral palsy, possibility of therapeutic intervention

This bachelor thesis aims to summarize basic important knowledge about cerebral palsy. In the first part it deals with a definition of cerebral palsy, risk factors that causes it and with possible ways of its division. The second part focuses on psychomotor development in the first two years of living and on comparison of physiological development with development of children with cerebral palsy and related to that also early diagnosis and initiation of treatment. And that exactly is the focus of the last part of this thesis, where the main treatment methods are mentioned together with additional therapies such as hippotherapy. The conclusion carries a discussion about the knowledge we have about cerebral palsy, if it is enough for its adequate treatment, and what the efficiency of the currently available therapies is and how it influences the quality of life of the handicapped pacient. How can be affected sibling constellations by physical disadvantages taking account of multiple sclerosis

The diploma thesis focuses on the research of sibling constellations and other specifics in relation of healthy siblings and physically disadvantaged, particularly for persons with multiple sclerosis, which at the time of the disease for at least some time have not lived in the common household. The research using interviews with respondents is subsequently analyzed from two points of view, both in terms of healthy individuals to disadvantaged and disadvantaged in terms of the healthy. The goal is to specify different views of the both siblings if they are different, which is expected and other peculiarities of their relationship. Then the analysis follows the trends that are present in the relationship of these people. Research will precede acquaintance with issues of multiple sclerosis, especially its potential impact on psychosocial relations and the issue of the relationship between the average healthy adult siblings. The conclusions confirmed details on the specific consistent with the literature, but pronounced tendency in these relationships were not observed, the disease does not significantly affect relationships, which we believe is influenced mainly by the current state of the respondents, who are all stable and mostly take place everyday activities. Possibilities and assertion of an individual with cerebral palsy in sports in Prague

This bachelor thesis is focused on sport options for disabled people. The focus is particularly on people with physical disabilities and their sport activities. Theoretical part consists of several parts namely definitions of basic concepts, types of physical disabilities, historical view on sports of handicapped, Paralympics, and sport activities suitable for disabled people. Research part consists of list of Prague's sport clubs organizing activities for disabled people and case study of an individual with cerebral palsy.
Improving working and social skills of adults with disabilities through social therapy workshops

The paper is focused on enhancement of working and social capabilities of disabled adult individuals through social therapy workshops. This piece of work consists of two main parts a theoretical and a practical one. First part, the theoretical one, is furthermore divided into three subchapters. First subchapter is mainly concerned with the topic of disability and its different forms. Second subchapter then disseminates the issue of integration and inclusion of disabled individuals, in addition, it also includes the importance of work to such an individual. The third subchapter elaborates on the aspect of legal framework, sheltered labour market and social therapy workshops. Subsequently, the practical part of this bachelor thesis provides the analysis of the impact that regular exploitation of services of social therapy workshops, provided by NGO, may have on acquiring a working place by a disabled adult individual on sheltered labour market.
Provision of practical social service "Support for independent living" for people with disabilities

Social service Support for independent living provides life for people with disabilities in the common environment. The theoretical part describes the most important topics concerning integration people with disabilities into society. One of the tools of social integration is just the Social service support for independent living. The aim of this work is to map the social service Support for independent living and focus on the scope, focus, form and methods for implementation service. Furthermore, to implement research on a sample of adults with disabilities, users of the Social service support for independent living. I used the tool of social worker "3P - Profile of the necessary support." The practical part was processed through qualitative research. I used the following methods and techniques of data collection: questionnaire survey, on-standardized telephone interviews, secondary data analysis. Research has found that the social service Support for independent living in the Czech Republic is unevenly distributed. This service is unavailable in some regions for certain target groups. This service is suitable for people with disabilities with lower support. This conclusion was achieved by applying an instrument for social worker "3P - Profile of necessary support". Social service support for independent living helps these people to integrate into society and therefore its availability should increase.
Possibilities to support a family with a child with severe multiple disabilities in the Czech Republic

The thesis deals with families caring of a child with severe multiple disabilities and possibilities for support such families. Goal of thesis is comparison of the possibilities of support for families taking care of a child with severe multiple disabilities based on the social system of the Czech Republic and support options of these families deriving from the literature.
The creative expression of children

The diploma thesis is focused on graphic expressions of children with specific learning disabilities and its possible connection with graphic hand-mindedness skill, visual and spatial perception etc. In the theoretical part there are characterized specific learning disabilities, their indications, diagnostics and re-education. From available grounds there are figured some of visual drawing characteristics by children with specific learning disabilities. Furthermore this thesis deals with children graphic expression and its development stages. In the research part there are shown some typical features of visual imaging on the basis of picture exemplars by children with specific learning disabilities. There were confirmed some specialties of their graphic expression which are summarized in the concluding chapter.
The work rehabilitation - people with disabilitaties place on job market

The work rehabilitation is activity aimed on getting and keeping an appropriate emplyments of individuals with disabilities, and is organised by local job office in cooperation with work-rehabilitation centres. It is a very hard to find job for people with disabilities in last ten years, even if work is often the main purpose of the life for those people.
