cze Abstract:
In the first part it deals with a definition of cerebral palsy, risk factors that causes it and with possible ways of its division. The second part focuses on psychomotor development in the first two years of living and on comparison of physiological development with development of children with cerebral palsy and related to that also early diagnosis and initiation of treatment. And that exactly is the focus of the last part of this thesis, where the main treatment methods are mentioned together with additional therapies such as hippotherapy. The conclusion carries a discussion about the knowledge we have about cerebral palsy, if it is enough for its adequate treatment, and what the efficiency of the currently available therapies is and how it influences the quality of life of the handicapped pacient.
