Decreased visibility and image defect detection for vehicle mounted camera
Sedláček, Miloš ; Řičánek, Dominik (referee) ; Svědiroh, Stanislav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the topic of decreased visibility and image defects detection caused by adverse weather conditions or lighting from a vehicle mounted camera. The thesis describes the basic characteristics of the most common influences and their effects on camera data and presents some existing methods of detecting these influences. Next, a dataset containing selected defects is created and described. Afterwards, the issue of artificial neural networks is described in the thesis. A convolutional neural network is implemented for defect detection, which is trained and tested using the dataset. At the end, the achieved results of the network, its computational complexity and comparison with the results of other works are presented.
Classification of sleep events from polygraphic data
Bódi, Michal ; Smital, Lukáš (referee) ; Králík, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis discusses the detection and classification of sleep apnea. First, it explains the differences between individual sleep disorders and data acquisition methods. Creating an overview such as gain signals and then suggests an algorithm procedure for detection and classification with the help of wavelet transform, thresholding and machine learning model. The thesis continues with the program solution itself in the Matlab environment and its evaluation through the visualization of the confusion matrix and the F1 score. The highest value of F1 in detection reached 91.33% and in classification 43,64%. The created algorithm was supposed to look for sleep-related breathing disorders in all-night recordings.
Intrusion prevention system for slow DoS attacks
Lanžhotský, Karel ; Gerlich, Tomáš (referee) ; Sikora, Marek (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with the matter of detection and prevention of flood and slow denial of service attacks. Output of this thesis is software capable of detection five attacks and five slow attack based on their signatures. At the beginning of the thesis there is an introduction to protocols used in network communication, especially these working on transport and application layer. Included in this thesis in an introduction into the matters of denial of service attacks, their description and differences between mentioned attack types. After that there is description of approaches to detection and prevention techniques to the mentioned attacks. At the end thesis is dedicated to the process of making and testing of the devised software.
Molecular detection of Mycoplasma gallisepticum based on whole genome data
KURÁŽ, Jakub
This thesis reviews the basic knowlegde of a bacteria Mycoplasma gallisepticum and attempts to propose a functional detection protocol to distinguish M. gallisepticum from related species of the genus Mycoplasma. Real time PCR optimalization has refined the specificity and increased the efficiency of detection of selected genomic loci for M. gallisepticum. The functionality and accuracy of the method was verified in laboratory experiments by detecting the occurrence of M. gallisepticum in mixed Mycoplasma samples.
Malware: Behaviour, Detection and Prevention
Langer, Jakub ; Šedrlová, Magdalena (referee) ; Ellederová, Eva (advisor)
Tato bakalářská práce pojednává o formě počítačové kriminality, která využívá škodlivý software zvaný malware. Nastiňuje základy počítačových bezpečnostních hrozeb a vysvětluje relevantní pojmy a koncepty. Poté práce postupuje přes nejběžnější a nejnebezpečnější typy malwaru, přičemž každý z nich popisuje a zároveň začleňuje informace o tom, jak konkrétní druh malwaru ovlivnil svět.
Device for the traffic situation evaluating
Gábel, Matej ; Honec, Peter (referee) ; Janáková, Ilona (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis deals with the implementation of a device for evaluating the traffic situation, specifically by traffic signs detection. In this work, I tried different methods of traffic sign recognition, where the resulting implementation on hardware is done using convolutional neural networks. More precisely, it is the YOLOv5 architecture, which is suitable for recognizing traffic signs in real time.
Detection of slow-rate DDoS attacks
Sikora, Marek ; Frolka, Jakub (referee) ; Blažek, Petr (advisor)
This diploma thesis is focused on the detection and protection against Slow DoS and DDoS attacks using computer network traffic analysis. The reader is introduced to the basic issues of this specific category of sophisticated attacks, and the characteristics of several specific attacks are clarified. There is also a set of methods for detecting and protecting against these attacks. The proposed methods are used to implement custom intrusion prevention system that is deployed on the border filtering server of computer network in order to protect Web servers against attacks from the Internet. Then created system is tested in the laboratory network. Presented results of the testing show that the system is able to detect attacks Slow GET, Slow POST, Slow Read and Apache Range Header and then protect Web servers from affecting provided services.
Detection of attacks targeted at web applications
Jégrová, Eliška ; Gerlich, Tomáš (referee) ; Martinásek, Zdeněk (advisor)
This thesis is dealing with vulnerabilities of web applications. The aim of the work is to create tools for attack detection of certain attacks, specifically Same Origin Method Execution (SOME), XML Signature Wrapping attack, XPATH Injection, HTTP Response Smuggling and Server-Side Includes (SSI) injection. Another aim is to create logs that display detected attacks. In the first part, the theory is analyzed and vulnerabilities of chosen attacks are described including their misuse. In the next section there are web application implemented which contain vulnerabilities for successful execution of the attacks. Furthermore, in Python language detection methods are designed and developed for these attacks, which are accompanied by a log entry.
Analysis and Detection of Multimedia Types in RTP Traffic
Kmeť, Martin ; Ryšavý, Ondřej (referee) ; Matoušek, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with the issues of detecting the codec used for the encoding of voice data carried by the RTP protocol without having access to the information carried by signalisation protocols in VoIP applications. Its main goal is to create and implement a fast algorithm for detecting the codec used for voice transfer via the RTP protocol. This algorithm should be fast enough to be used for offline analysis of captured data as well as for real-time online analysis. For research of possibilities were compared two approaches of detection. Detection by the characteristics of the codecs was chosen to solve the problem itself. Within the solution was performed data analysis and implementation of the application followed by testing on data.
Detection of Boxes in Image
Soroka, Matej ; Bartl, Vojtěch (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
The aim of this work is to experiment and evaluate different approaches of computer vision with the aim of automatic detection of boxes-blocks in the image, for this purpose, approaches based on neural networks were used in the solution. Experiments were performed with classification using our own data set, classification using our own convolutional neural network, detection using a window, YOLO detector and in the last part a proposal for improvement using U-net and MirrorNet networks.
