Design of heatsink for electrical component of automotive headlight
Větrovec, Ondřej ; Čížek, Petr (referee) ; Samek, František (advisor)
This thesis is concerned with the cooling of electronic component. The work focuses on contemporary design of LED signal functions used in modern automotive headlamps and a on new design solution for the DRL function in the headlamp Skoda Octavia, including the use of alternative materials for cooler.
Step down convertor
Koutný, Martin ; Kadlec, Josef (referee) ; Cipín, Radoslav (advisor)
Thesis deals with the evaluation of the solutions and the design of the DC voltage converters. The first describes the different types of converters, which subsequently choose types of resources for the construction. In other chapters of the work devoted to the design of schemes, selected types of sources and selection of circuits and components therefor, for the manufacture, including calculations cooling performance parts. The last chapter is devoted to the description of the structure and measurement of the produced sources. The measurements are primarily deals with the verification of the specified parameters.
Water Cooling System for Formula Engine
Bastl, Ondřej ; Janoušek, Michal (referee) ; Svída, David (advisor)
Diploma thesis is focused on design engine cooling system for formula vehicle type. The aim is introduce with cooling systems of Formula Student/SAE car and competition rules. Based on the famous engine determine the initial conditions for the cooling system. In addition to design all parts of the cooling system and check affordability.
Airconditioning of sports centre
Vacková, Tereza ; Tesař, Zdeněk (referee) ; Rubina, Aleš (advisor)
The aim of the present bachelor thesis is to design air-conditioning devices in specific sections of a sports centre. The individual devices are designed to meet the hygienic, operational and functional requirements as demanded by the indoor microclimate of the premises. Devices 1 and 2 ensure the indoor air circulation, coverage of heat loss in winter and heat rise in sum-mer. Device 3 serves as a hot air ventilator for the hygienic facilities. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on the issue of coolers. The practical part comprises of a proposal of three specific air-conditioning devices operating in a restaurant, squash courts and hygienic facilities. The result of the thesis is a project documentation of two air-conditioning devices for the given premises.
Hydrostatic travel drive for harvester
Dano, Matej ; Juřík, Josef (referee) ; Škopán, Miroslav (advisor)
The object of this master’s thesis is design of a suitable hydrostatic travel drive for harvester. The first part dedicates of constructions of harvesters and actual different conceptions of travel drive. Next, there are design of hydrostatic circuit, calculation of general hydraulic parameters and design of hydraulic components in the second part. The last part deals with issue of combustion engine and cooler.
Thermal calculation of shell-and-tube air cooler
Winter, Petr ; Hejčík, Jiří (referee) ; Jaroš, Michal (advisor)
Bachelor´ s thesis deals with the thermal calculation of shell-and-tube air cooler – air for cooler system of electromotor. It includes inner circle and open outer circle. The bachelor´ s thesis contains concrete calculation of cooler realization. It formulates conclusions and tips for design.
Thermal analysis of Gunn diode
Chára, Pavel ; Lukeš, Zbyněk (referee) ; Pokorný, Michal (advisor)
The aim of bachelor’s project has been thermal analysis of Gunn diode. Gunn diode model involving thermal effects was analyzed in COMSOL Multiphysics. Another task was to design a suitable heat sink for diode and its proper function to verify simulations.
Unconventional Cooling Systems for Formula Students
Ondrejka, Filip ; Bartuli, Erik (referee) ; Kůdelová, Tereza (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with the design and manufacture of a heat exchanger with polymeric hollow fibers for a Formula Student vehicle. The work can be divided into three parts. The first part contains a review of heat transfer and heat exchangers, the second part deals with polymeric fiber heat exchangers design and manufacture of of polymeric hollow fibers heat exchanger with a heat exchanger for a Formula Student vehicle. The last part deals with the comparison of polymeric hollow fibers heat exchanger with the original aluminum heat exchanger and the evaluation of the measurement results.
Design of climatic chamber
Novák, Petr ; Šperka, Petr (referee) ; Frýza, Josef (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the construction of climatic chamber, which allows continual change of temperature of air within the range of -10 to 50 °C and continual change of relative humidity of air within the range of 10 to 90 %. The chamber is going to be connected to optical tribometer or to Mini Traction Machine (MTM). Both these devices serve for observation of tribological processes in laboratory conditions. Climatic chamber is going to approximate these laboratory conditions more to the real ones by the modification of temperature and air humidity. In the thesis there is stated a concept of particular climatic units, a concept of the arrangement of these units and consecutive constructional solving of the whole device with the emphasis on simple construction, low charges of production, assembility and small proportions of the whole construction
Optimization of air conditioning of the wellness sports center
Prchalová, Nikol ; Rubina, Aleš (referee) ; Blasinski, Petr (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with microclimate of a pool hall. This is divided into three parts. The first part describes the theoretical aspects of the environment in swimming pools in general. The second part of the diploma thesis deals with the calculation of the course of specific moisture concentration during the day in the pool hall. Different humidity concentration curves are assessed based on different electable input parameters. Subsequently, suitable setting options are evaluated in order to achieve acceptable environment in the hall in terms of humidity and optimal operating costs. The last part relates to the experimental part. This examines the measurement of evaporation under different boundary conditions and the subsequent comparison with some calculation methods for the calculation of evaporation.
