The study of actuators for electrical control devices automated testing
Pabiška, Martin ; Kovář, Jiří (referee) ; Andrš, Ondřej (advisor)
The thesis is focused on review of aktuators which are relevant for automatic testing of electric handling elements. There will be demonstrated overview regarding the testing of function selected handling elements with evaluation of both discussed topics.
Automated Testing of User Interfaces
Meluzín, Vojtěch ; Materna, Zdeněk (referee) ; Kapinus, Michal (advisor)
The main theme of this thesis is automated testing of graphical user interfaces for the system ARTable, created using the ROS framework. My solution to this problem is an extension for a testing tool. The extension named ARTBot allows simulating user interaction. Its use can be combined with a testing tool to automate testing of garafical interface of ARTable applications. The thesis contains the design, description of the implementation and methods of testing the ARTBot.
Remote API Web Reference for Java Enterprise Applications
Krpec, Ondřej ; Turoňová, Lenka (referee) ; Kočí, Radek (advisor)
Tato diplomová práce popisuje testování REST API rozhraní aplikací. Výsledkem práce je aplikace Restty, založená na použití nástroje Swagger, která umožňuje testovat jednotlivé části API aplikací, i vytvářet a spouštět komplexní testovací scénáře nad daným rozhraním. Teoretická část práce vysvětluje principy webových služeb, vzdálených rozhraní a představuje nástroj Swagger i technologie použité k implementaci.
Mobile Application for CMS Administration
Ingr, Michal ; Tesař, Filip (referee) ; Dydowicz, Petr (advisor)
The master's thesis describes the designing and developing mobile application for remote management of Kentico CMS/EMS system via REST interface. The thesis emphasized agile approaches to development, especially Test-Driven Development and automated testing.
SW for control of climate tests
Fedor, Denis ; Richter, Miloslav (referee) ; Petyovský, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with control of a specific climate chamber used for various climate tests. Therefore its elaboration starts with the identification of properties of this climate chamber and basic design of its control. This is followed by measuring the temperature distribution in its internal space in order to verify the usability of this climate chamber. The thesis also does not omit a description of the communication options between climate chamber and application for control of climate tests. The next part of this thesis concerns the design and implementation of the application for control of climate tests itself. On its output is a report of the performed climate test. In the end this thesis contains the description of program testing in the real operation of the company and other possible improvements of the implemented program.
Continuous delivery of web application
Češpivo, Jan ; Merunka, Vojtěch (advisor) ; Martin, Martin (referee)
This thesis is dealing with continuous delivery of web applications. The theoretical part contains description and explanation of the basic concepts of the continuous delivery. The objectives, benefits, specifications and basic procedure of implementation of this process are summarized in this part of the thesis. Tools for final implementation of continuous delivery in software company are designed and implemented in the practical part of the thesis.
Continuous Integration System for the k-Wave Project
Nečas, Radek ; Kešner, Filip (referee) ; Jaroš, Jiří (advisor)
The main goal of this thesis is to describe the implementation of continuous integration into the k-Wave project. The thesis focuses primarily on the version written in the C/C++ language with the usage of the OpenMP library which typically runs on supercomputers. Accordingly, many of popular workflows and approaches ought to be adapted, a few more created. The outcome of the thesis is a complete solution with real and practical usage. The author provides design, tools selection, runtime environment administration and configuration for each one of the used services. Software implementation of the basic framework is used in order to utilize running tests on the supercomputers. Furthermore, the implementation of chosen types of regression and unit tests are performed. Realisation is based on Gitlab and Jenkis services that are running on separated Docker containers.
SW for control tests and generating reports
Dočkal, Michal ; Šťastný, Ladislav (referee) ; Franek, Lešek (advisor)
The content of this work is the development of an application that serves as a graphical interface for running tests and generating reports. At first is marginally analyzed the process of measuring and recording, then the technology used in the development is described. As next, suitable implementations is proposed. Finally createed application is described, including outlining possibilities for further development.
Advanced Automated Testing of Extensive Information Systems
Svoboda, Vladimír ; Rychlý, Marek (referee) ; Bartík, Vladimír (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to research current options in automated testing of information systems, create testing tools for automatic validity check of the Webnode system. These tools were created using Java programming language in combination with Selenium library. They can be used for local or even for remote testing with BrowserStack and SauceLabs. These two services are used for running your tests under many different operating systems and browser versions. The product of this thesis will help developers of Webnode project to automatically verify the validity of new features. It will show to the reader, how to use Selenium library to automate web browser, how to use it for automated testing of information systems and also how to connect it with BrowserStack and SauceLabs services.
Use-Case of BDD Process in Testing of PHP Applications
Kudaiberdiyeva, Farida ; Letko, Zdeněk (referee) ; Smrčka, Aleš (advisor)
This bachalor's thesis is focused on revealing of main advantages and disadvatages of Behavior Driven Development using by software companies in Czech Republic and abroad. It is dedicated to diferences and grey areas of BDD testing technique in comparison with classic approach of testing of web application using Selenium framework. The goal of this thesis is to find out, whether using of BDD is more appropriate and effective than classic approach of testing. Two frameworks have been compared: PHP Selenium Client by Nearsoft and Behat. Criteria for comparing are: coverage of test cases, way of writing and execution of the scenario, understandability for non-programmers, time for tests creating, probability of not introducing new faults while creating the test, and the level of test's abstraction. From the achieved results is possible to define main pros and cons of each framework. The most effective way of testing is the combination of two of them, i.e. using of Behat framework with adding user-defined sentences and programming code. The least effective way of testing is using just sentences provided by Behat. Additional goal of this bachalor's thesis is to find out, if BDD is appropriate and effective for Dixons Carphone (earlier Dixons Retail) company by providing of independended view on the problem based on real examples.
