Thermometer for SW/HW Platform FITkit
Čižinský, Vojtěch ; Šimek, Václav (referee) ; Vašíček, Zdeněk (advisor)
The real progress in temperature measurement was made in 20th century. This specialization has since affected all domains of human doing and improved many of processes. This bachelor thesis deals with the design of a measuring module, which has to be plugged to a FITkit platform, and the implementation of the program, which communicates with the module. There will be a couple of various temperature sensors placed on the module, with various ways of the temperature presentation.
Applications of optical fibre sensors
Ráboňová, Jana ; Dejdar, Petr (referee) ; Münster, Petr (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with the measurement of soil temperature. In the theoretical part, optical fiber systems were explained, with a focus on DSTS systems and their use. In the practical part, a functional system was created to measure the soil temperature at depths of 0.1-1~m using the Arduino platform. Furthermore, the temperature measurement was demonstrated on the test polygon using the optical fiber of the FTB 2505 instrument in laboratories.
Design of device for determination of air mean temperature in the channel with various crossection
Tichý, Vojtěch ; Musil, Filip (referee) ; Vlach, Radek (advisor)
Diploma thesis was dealing with design of the device for measuring the mean temperature in a channel of any cross-section. First, the theory of heat, heat transfer and fluid flow was summarized. Theory was focused specially on the uneven temperature distribution in the flowing medium. Furthermore, a general overview of commercially used temperature sensors and developed sensors with applicability to the investigated problematics was elaborated. Then, a device for sensing mean temperature in a flow channel for several different diameters has been fully designed and developed. The device included the temperature sensor itself, the necessary measurement electronics and its programming, and a simple measurement data application.

Temperature sensors
Mudrák, Michal ; Březina, Michal (referee) ; Štětina, Josef (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with problem int the field of temperature sensors. The beginning of the work is devoted to the definitions of the basic terms which are closely related to this topic. It is followed by distribution, description of the principle and realization of touch sensors with an electrical output. Marginally are discussed suitability of use and comparison of individual sensors. Next, the principle of calibration of resistance and thermoelectric sensors is described. The most common sources of calibration errors and measurement offsets are also summarized. At last, there is a practical example of linear calibration of chosen temperature sensors.
Temperature Sensor Using (Espressif) ESP32 Module
Roško, Tomáš ; Lattenberg, Ivo (referee) ; Škorpil, Vladislav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focuses on construction of battery powered temperature sensor with Wi-Fi module ESP32 with the possibility of connection to any analogue industrial sensor. The construction of module emphasizes on minimal battery power consumption with taking into account the longest possible duration per one charging battery cycle. It is also stressed on the way of storing measured data and realization of website, which presents those data to the end user in a comfortable manner. The theoretical part describes Internet of Things, accentuates its history, usage and security. The chapter also covers vast possibilities of application of different sensors and their usage in both industry and ordinary life. The Internet of Things chapter is concluded with description of most used communication technologies and protocols. The practical part is concerned with construction of temperature sensor with ESP32 module. It is divided into three main parts. First part deals with the specification of requirements and the design of the device. It also takes into account the choice of best possible way of powering the device by battery and calculation of battery life. Chapter also discusses individual parts of the whole device, such as the choice of temperature sensor or the solution of connectability of industrial sensors. The second practical chapter deals with the realization of device, both in hardware and software way. Hardware part describes realization of the printed circuit board and its 3D printed coverage, whereas software part sheds light on the programming of the device and how the web presentation works. The final chapter presents two main things: how was the module tested and complete financial calculation for the whole project.
Meassuring system for building constructions
Flagar, Vojtěch ; Fiedler, Petr (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
This paper deals with the hardware and software design of the data acquisition distributed system with large amount of connected sensors. The intended application of this work is measuring some physical quantities in the building constructions. The designed system is hierarchically divided into the three levels. On the highest level there is a single-board computer Raspberry Pi which is used as a master on RS-485 bus. There can be up to 32 slave devices on the bus while each of them collects data from the sensors connected to 4-channel I2C bus. At the same time the Raspberry Pi is used as a web server, providing the user interface of the system.
Intelligent Household Management
Unzeitig, Patrik ; Široký, Adam (referee) ; Musil, Martin (advisor)
The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to find out how intelligent household management works and then to design and construct system to control home's temperature. This thesis focuses on creation of physical part using Raspberry Pi and on implementation of controlling application, which can be used through touchscreen. Application uses XML file to make data persistent.
Remote Control and Measurement with Linux
Ševcovic, Jiří ; Herrman, Tomáš (referee) ; Škarvada, Jaroslav (advisor)
The destination of this work was a creation of modular system for a remote control and measurement with Linux operation system. People use an I2C bus, connected to serial port of a computer. Aplication is made with C++ language to perfom a remote control of systems.Application communicates with web interface, which is controlled by user.
