PSE as One of the Possibilities of Primary Prevention

This thesis is focused on the possibility of using Personal and Social Education in implementing effective primary prevention program in elementary schools. After the theoretical analysis of primary prevention and Personal and Social Education, the second part of the thesis presents and analyzes a proposed model of prolonged non-specific primary prevention, which is based mainly on the activities of school prevention methodologist. The methodologist is educated in social pedagogy and professionally trained in Personal and Social Education. The school prevention methodologist is employed full-time for this position, he does not teach any other subject but Personal and Social Education. In this part of the thesis there are discussed demands on school prevention methodologist activities and difficulties of presented primary prevention model. The last chapter presents supporting research that took place at four elementary schools in Prague. Observations of the teaching Personal and Social Education, conversations with its teacher and also an analysis of the Minimum Preventive Program of the school were made there.
Experience Reflective Activity in the Primary Prevention of Socially pathological Phenomena

The aim of presented bachelor thesis named "Experiential-reflective activities in primary prevention of socially pathological phenomena" is to theoretically set the experiential-reflective activities in relation to the prevention of socially pathological phenomena and to introduce the experiential-reflective method of Forum Theatre. This thesis is focused mainly theoreticaly. First part introduces the socially pathological phenomena, the cause of socially pathological behavior and demarcation and classification of socially pathological phenomena. Second part is focused on primary prevention and its realisation. Third part describes the experiential-reflective activities, experiental learning and learning-by-doing method. Fourth chapter is about the Forum theatre method, it's history and mainly it's realisation. The last part is practically focused, it describes author's personal experience with Forum theatre and it's relisation in the elementary schools. In addition, this experience is enriched by research interviews. These interviews are focused on opinions and experience of the teachers who are familiar with Forum theatre method. Financial literacy at secondary school VIZE

The diploma thesis "Financial literacy at secondary school VIZE" is focused on the level of financial literacy at this school. This school is a part of the prison Jiřice. The thesis is divided into two parts, the theoretical part and the practical part. The first one deals with financial literacy. It analyses its components, the definition and development. It also includes forms and methods of teaching financial literacy. The second one, practical part, is focused on the research. This research deals with the level of financial literacy of people in prison, who are educated at SŠ VIZE.
The current situation in the prevention of drug use in secondary schools.

For my bachelor thesis I chose the topic - the current situation in the prevention of drug use in high schools. Prevention among adolescents is due to their age and vulnerability very important and should not be underestimated. The main challenge in prevention is to prevent the ingress of unwanted risky behavior and have done so in the case of drug use. Each school has a duty to hold for the students of preventive programs to prevent risky behavior. I think it is right and sensible to organize preventive programs in primary schools, but also in secondary schools, mainly due to the developmental stage of adolescents. The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part of the thesis is to introduce the concepts of addiction, prevention of social pathologies and prevention programs. I also deal in drugs, their division and their impact on the human psyche and the whole organism. The theoretical part serves as a basis for the following practical part. The practical part is to determine whether secondary schools run prevention programs and the benefits they have for the students and how students evaluate themselves. The whole research is conducted on a pre-selected secondary schools in the sand. For the practical part, I chose a quantitative research, which is a realized questionnaire. The data were collected through pre-prepared questionnaires, which were, after consultation with management, distributed to secondary schools.
Leisure time activities as a form of prevention of socially pathological phenomena of Romany children and youth in Prachatice

Socially pathological phenomena of Romany children and youth can be prevented by education in leisure time, engaging in hobby groups and other leisure activities. These activities are one of the ways for Romany children, and other members of the Romany minority who often manifest themselves as difficult to be trained and educated, to reduce the risk of socio-pathological behaviour. The thesis also presents results of own sociological survey in specific situations. These are discussed with the information provided in the research part of the thesis.
Primary prevention and its link to risk-taking behaviors of children and youth.

My bachelor's thesis deals with problems of primary prevention at schools and its link to risk-taking behaviors of children and youth. The theoretical part of the thesis descibes social environment at schools in general as well as socially pathological phenomena that need to be prevented. It describes the system of primary prevention in the Czech Republic and deals with effective primary prevention. The practical part monitors the structure of prevention at schools and its link to risk-taking behaviors of children and youth. The incidence of socially pathological phenomena is described regarding primal experience. Sufficience, timing and continuality of prevention has been also examined.
Secondary Prevention of Socially Pathological Phenomena

In exordium of thesis I am engaged in the explanation of the conception of socially pathological phenomena and in the diagnosis of this conception into the social pathology and then I describe some of these significant negative and dangerous phenomena, which threaten the youth, too. Mainly I target violent phenomena and dependencies. Subsequently I am resolving the problem of primary, secondary and tertiary prevention, too. I am writing especially about different recommendations and measures, how not to need occur the prevention, especially the tertiary prevention. Next I target the secondary prevention especially the prevention of violent phenomena and dependencies. In conclusion I am focusing on Salesian youth centre - centre of children and youth in České Budějovice and shortly I describe activities of these centre with an eye on the pursuance or the realization of the secondary prevention not to occur the origin or the expansion of socially pathological phenomena.
Use of pupil`s free time

Various branches of science deal with interpretation of leisure time. It is possible to view leisure time from various perspectives {--} pedagogical, psychological, sociological, economic, health-hygienic, political etc. Leisure time is generally considered to be the period of time when people freely make decisions about activities they want to perform at the moment. It is concerned with out-of-work activity or extracurricular activity which is not connected to meeting individual or existence needs. The art of using leisure time well belongs to one of social indicators of life quality. Active leisure activities, in addition to fulfilling current desires and relaxation, also perform a lot of social functions. Especially in young adults and children they serve as an effective social prevention and are important parts of the process of developing value system and priorities. The title of this thesis is Leisure time utilization in primary school pupils. I focused my attention on children because they belong among the most risky population groups from the perspective of incorrect choice of leisure time activities which can lead to development of socially pathological phenomena. The objective of the thesis is to make a survey of leisure time activities of primary school pupils in České Budějovice and to find out whether there is a difference in leisure time utilization in pupils of the 1st and 2nd grades of primary schools and the 2nd grade of primary schools and multi-year grammar schools. Theoretical part of the thesis is compiled by content analysis from documents stated in the list of used resources. For the empirical part I have chosen the quantitative method of questioning using questionnaires which were distributed in 5th and 7th grades of randomly selected primary schools and 2nd grades of randomly selected multi-year grammar schools in České Budějovice. Charts and graphs are used to present the results. Objectives of the thesis were accomplished. The results show that respondents mainly perform mentally active and passive activities. In 5th grades of primary schools and in 2nd grades of multi-year grammar schools the active mental activity predominates over the passive mental activity, in 7th grades it is the other way round. All three groups of respondents spend least time doing a physical activity. Hypothesis that 1st grade primary school pupils use their leisure time more actively than 2nd grade pupils was
