802.1X Based Wireless Network Security Audit
Antal, Lukáš ; Samek, Jan (referee) ; Drozd, Michal (advisor)
This term project analyzes the security of 802.1X based wireless networks and presents the methodology for auditing these networks. The thesis describes various methods of the EAP authentication protocol used in wireless networks, security risks arising from their usage and recommendations for mitigating these risks. The paper also includes implementation of applications for 802.1X based wireless network audit focusing on the EAP protocol processing.
Wireless Network Aspects
Vrbovský, Miroslav ; Čulák, Jozef (referee) ; Koch, Miloš (advisor)
My bachelor’s thesis deals with deploying IEEE 802.11 wireless networks. In first, theoretical part my thesis familiarizes the reader with basic terminology, architecture details and 802.11 wireless networking operation fundamentals. In the theoretical part it also discusses modern practices in securing of wireless networks. Practical part contains a wireless network design for company FELS spol s r.o. .
Support for RADIUS Protocol in SSSD
Privacy protection on the internet
Lučenič, Lukáš ; Babnič, Patrik (referee) ; Rosenberg, Martin (advisor)
In this bachelor thesis are analyzed social networks and their security, methods of obtaining information from users and examples of Internet crime. The second part describes authentication methods and authentication protocols. The final section describes a principled own proposal anonymous authentication protocol.
Analysis of security and authentication of wireless networks
Kulíř, Tomáš ; Jeřábek, Jan (referee) ; Szőcs, Juraj (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with wireless networks, mainly about the WiFi. It deals with summary of individual security mechanism both theoretically and using them in real hardware. Mainly it is interested in the security of the individual mechanisms and their weaknesses, which cause rupture of security. At each chapter the ideas and methods, that the attackers are trying for infiltration of wireless networks and decrypt encryption WEP, WPA or WPA2, are outlined. The principle of the authentication of the WiFi by the authentication server and its options, which is connected with directory service LDAP, is also explained in this thesis. The penultimate chapter deals with the summary of security mechanisms and references that should be adhered by design of the WiFi for the provision of the high security. The ending of the master's thesis is devoted to social engineering and its most famous representatives.
Selected ČSN Road Design Elements Optimization
Stránský, Jakub ; Čepil, Jiří (referee) ; Kosňovský, Michal (advisor)
The master‘s thesis focuses on the optimization of the design values of curves of the horizontal alignments of the roads. It deals with the comparison of values between czech and foreign standards and differences between them. The practical part examines the values of the real speeds of vehicles passing through the curves of various parameters that were measured during measurements of selected curves during 2014. From these data a new design values are derived that could be used for the design of horizontal alignments.
IEEE 802.1x for LAN network admission control
Čuhel, Radim ; Hošek, Jiří (referee) ; Slavíček, Karel (advisor)
This semestral work deals with the control of access to current local networks using IEEE 802.1X protocol. At the beginning of the thesis are the basic concepts of network access control and possible standards and protocols that are used today. The practical output is the implementation of an authentication server in the form of a virtual server in the laboratory, creating a sample network configuration and a laboratory task in which other students will be able to learn the IEEE 802.1X protocol.
Wireless Fidelity Networks
Parolek, Pavel ; Čech, Jan (referee) ; Koch, Miloš (advisor)
My bachelor’s thesis contains realization of user authentication by RADIUS server in wireless network, where server is connected to MySQL database. By that we will achieve better management of user database.
Stress-strain analysis of internal plate fixator of distal radius fracture
Hussliková, Veronika ; Hájek, Petr (referee) ; Marcián, Petr (advisor)
Distal radius fractures are one of the most common fractures. In case of a complicated fracture, it is necessary to proceed with surgical treatment using an internal plate fixator. The aim of this thesis was to perform a stress-strain analysis of an internal plate fixator attached to the distal radius using bone screws. Computational modeling using finite element method was used to assess the mechanical interactions among the individual elements of this system. The stress-strain analysis was performed for three different types of fixation in geometry models including a distal radius fracture and a healed distal radius and for three different types of loads. In the evaluation of the results, the influence of the type of load and the influence of the healing of the bone tissue were assessed. For the bending load, which was the most critical, the yield strength was not exceeded in the plate or in the bone screws, and therefore irreversible plastic deformation of the material did not occur.
Design of General Service Crane, used for manipulation on the deck of the vessel
Dlužanský, Tomáš ; Horák, Michal (referee) ; Pokorný, Přemysl (advisor)
This master's thesis makes a brief comparison of design variants of cranes for general use on the deck of a vessel. Further, this thesis deals with a design of a crane with a telescopic jib and a single knuckle. An important part of the crane’s design is its kinematic solution, which was modified in the design phase. The last step of a simplified analytical calculation of the jib for design steel construction is given. This preliminary calculation is the starting point for a FEM model and for the following FEM analysis. A stress control is made according to the Lloyd's Register of Shipping agency’s standard for lifting appliances in marine environment and also according to the recommendations of Huisman company. A part of the proposed solution is a selection of main components of the crane. The master’s thesis contains a summary of some operational and other information which characterize possibilities of the crane’s use. This thesis also includes source materials for drawing documentation.
