Jusko, Ján ; Herout, Adam (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of this work is to simplify access to information for citizens of the city of Brno and at the same time to innovate the way of communication between the citizen and his city. The problem is solved by creating a conversational agent - chatbot Kroko. Using artificial intelligence and a Czech language analyzer, the agent is able to understand and respond to a certain set of textual, natural language queries. The agent is available on the Messenger platform and has a knowledge base that includes data provided by the city council. After conducting an extensive user testing on a total of 76 citizens of the city, it turned out that up to 97\% of respondents like the idea of a city-oriented chatbot and can imagine using it regularly. The main finding of this work is that the general public can easily adopt and effectively use a chatbot. The results of this work motivate further development of practical applications of conversational agents.

Tools designed for user interaction within student community website
Krejčí, Filip ; Vojíř, Stanislav (advisor) ; Hradil, Jiří (referee)
The thesis deals with the design and creation of an appropriate user environment for user interaction on student information sharing portals. Such an environment will allow students to share and draw information, evaluate content, and communicate quickly in the student portal environment. The work also focuses on ways to engage users in activity. The main goal is the design and development of basic components that serve to interact and communicate with users and are suitable for use in student community portals. In order to find the optimal solution, the work includes analysis of community portals and other websites designed to gather information suitable for university students. It also includes defining the requirements for the basic components, based on the analysis of existing pages. Chosen component is a messenger, content rating, comments, and notification system. For the proper functioning, the latest technology and approaches to design and implementation are used in development. These technologies guarantee high-quality optimization, security and, at the same time, do not reduce the resulting functionality and usability of the components. Design and development is introduced in the creation of a new web application Primát.cz. The idea of the project and the vision that should be fulfilled in the future is presented. In addition, there are reasons for the decision to completely redesign the website instead of just updating or partially rebuilding it. The results are the described and detailed functional components and the introduction of their functionality in the environment of Primát.cz.

Angels in the Bible. The Role of Angels in biblical texts
Kopřivová, Marie ; Scarano, Angelo (advisor) ; Větrovec, Pavel (referee)
The Diploma thesis Angels in the Bible. The role of angels in biblical texts tries to describe the role of angels in the Bible based on the contexts containing the term angel. Then it analyzes and briefly characterizes individual texts of the Old and New Testament in which the term angel occures. With the help of this analysis it is possible to observe what role did the angels serve: they announced the birth of a son, God's election, God's commands, they become the life savers, leaders and protectors of the Israel nation and executors of God's punishment. An angel - interpreter acts in the apocalyptic texts. In the New Testament, angels also announce the birth of Jesus and John the Baptist, announce the God's will to people, they announce the resurrection and protect the church similarly to Israel. The most angels figure in the Book of Revelation and they play all roles known from apocalyptic literature: angel - interpreter, angel - guardian, as well as angels who participate on the heavenly council and effect the judgement according to the God's commands.
FOLDABLE CITY BACKPACK
Štechová, Eva ; Lidmila, Jan (referee) ; Čapkovičová, Marcela (advisor)
From the first idea, to research and comparing with other backpacks with foldable function (tele, usárna), and with backpacks associated with urban and streetwear function, I designed a backpack with a practical and functional design which opens questions of personal vs. public space. It plays with the question of lifestyle as a focal point of marketing. It speaks to young people, who spend their time in the city public space and occupy it in their own way. Technical parameters of the backpack are dependent of its functional needs, but the first idea came out of the needs of a modern young nomad, exploring the city public space.
