Motion Analysis
Hudec, Jiří ; Čmiel, Vratislav (referee) ; Sekora, Jiří (advisor)
The thesis describes the optical camera system from Vicon, which records human movement. In medicine, this technology is used in laboratories for walk analysis. In collaboration with the laboratory in the Brno Faculty Hospital, two sets of anonymised patient results are analyzed by designed algorithms in Matlab. Algorithms were design for processing data in 2D and 3D views and to display kinematic joint analysis. The practical part evaluates the functionality of the proposed algorithms and compares them with results from the laboratory.
Speech Recognition (digit)
Kantar, Martin ; Minář, Petr (referee) ; Matoušek, Radomil (advisor)
The aim of this diploma thesis is to explain what speech is and what are its constituents. I mention commonly used methods which are used for preparation of signals which we use for recognition. Schematic examples show principles of current recognizers of speech, their advantages and disadvantages. I made speech recognition program for 0-9 numerals in Matlab for neural nets learning.
Thermal analysis of a small induction machine
Holcman, Marek ; Toman, Marek (referee) ; Mach, Martin (advisor)
This thesis deals with the thermal analysis of a small asynchronous motor with a power of 600 W. The motor losses were determined first by the program RMxprt, and then by laboratory measurement. Temperatures in engine are calculated using the thermal resistance method. For analytical calculation of motor temperatures, a simple program was created using the Matlab computation program. Using the created program and determined losses, engine temperatures were calculated, which were then verified by measurement.
Linear prediciton and cepstral synthesis of speech signal in the TTS system
Mekyska, Jiří ; Stejskal, Vojtěch (referee) ; Smékal, Zdeněk (advisor)
This work deals with a linear prediction and cepstral synthesis of speech signal in the TTS (Text-to-Speech) systems with the opportunity of modeling the prosody. The work contains a description of speech signal in acoustic and phonetic plane, the principle of speech production and the way we can figure the speech signal in time and frequency domain. Next, there is the TTS block structure mentioned, whereas each block has its own detailed description. In the work, the modeling of prosody using the three most important suprasegmental features (fundamental tone, continuation and speech intensity) is also described. At the end of this work, there is a design and realization of universal Czech TTS system which is based on the speech synthesis in frequency domain. This system is implemented in program MATLAB.
Automatic detection of stress using biological signals
Votýpka, Tomáš ; Kozumplík, Jiří (referee) ; Smíšek, Radovan (advisor)
Bachelor's thesis is focused on stress detection. This thesis defines the concept of stress, analyzes the appropriate biological signals for stress detection, presents databases of biological signals, that were used for stress detection and mentions methods of automatic stress detection. Then, a stress detection program was implemented in the MATLAB software environment. A freely available database of non-EEG signals was used to implement the program. Models classifying stress were created using 4 machine learning methods for binary classification and 3 machine learning methods for classifying 4 psychical states. Efficiency of the classification was summarized in the conclusion of this thesis.
ECG signals compression
Botlová, Simona ; Vítek, Martin (referee) ; Smital, Lukáš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the compression of ECG signals using wavelet transform and run length encoding. The principles of electrocardiography, compression methods, wavelet transform and run length encoding are described in this thesis. There was created a program to compress and decompress ECG signals in MATLAB interface. The wavelet transform settings and their influence on compress ratio and percentage root mean square difference were tested. Subsequently, the appropriate adjustment of algoritm was found and it was used on CSE database compression.
Evaluation of Supllier Risk Using Fuzzy Logic
Lázniček, Matěj ; Janková, Zuzana (referee) ; Dostál, Petr (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the evaluation of supplier risk for a chosen company Vinařství Soška using the fuzzy logic principles. This company like many others is forced to shift its sales to the Internet environment due to the government restrictions established to reflect the pandemic situation. For a successful Internet business, it is necessary to choose an optimal ecommerce software based on the company requirements. For this purpose, two fuzzy logic models are built in Microsoft Excel and MATLAB software. Their aim is to evaluate the potential risk of all of the suppliers. Based on this evaluation, the results are transformed into specific recommendations on how to choose the optimal solution for the company. The first chapters deal with the general theory that is later used in the analytical part.
The Application of Fuzzy Logic for Rating of Suppliers for the Firm
(PBS Brno). Společnost existuje více než 200 let na trhu a má více než 100 dodavatelů po celém světě. Proto je potřeba navrhnout adekvátní systém hodnocení dodavatelů. Pro vyhodnocení budou použité programy MS Excel a MATLAB.
The Application of Fuzzy Logic for Evaluation of Quality of Customers
Homola, Rostislav ; Kudrna, Josef (referee) ; Dostál, Petr (advisor)
Master thesis deals with quality evaluation customers of Heineken Česká republika, a. s. using the theory of fuzzy logic as an advanced decision-making method, which will be further practically applied within the design of the solution. Based on the selected parameters, a model will be developed to optimize the value of the company's customers, on the basis of which the company may also decide whether to cooperate with the customer or it is more advantageous for them to terminate this cooperation. The work itself is supported by Microsoft Excel and MATLAB.
Slitter rewinder control
Růžička, Kamil ; Pásek, Jan (referee) ; Richter, Miloslav (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the control of unwinding and winding tension sections on the slitter rewinder for packaging material. The essay was created in collaboration with SOMA company, which provided a machine for testing and measuring. The theoretical part describes the function of bitter rewinder, possible mechanical approaches of control the tension sections, and real mechanics of control on our machine. The next part explores selected hardware and its use on the rewinder. Further chapters are focused on the individual measuring chains, calibration, computations of required quantities and control algorithms. The last part compares the theoretical and measured values and evaluates the results of this essay.
