International trade between Czech Republic and Romania

This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of international trade of the Czech Republic and Romania. It mainly focuses on the analysis of territorial and commodity structure of both countries and it presents their comparison and measures under the Licensing Authority. The next part deals with the finding whether Romania represents the most important business partner of the Czech Republic in Southeast Europe and what the trade balance of these bilateral relations is. The last partial goal is focused on Romanian exports of military equipment to the Czech Republic and the number of licenses issued in this area.

Bachelor thesis is focused on the development of foreign trade in two countries, which formed one state in the past. The main goal is the description of territorial orientation and commodity structure from the period of transformation centrally planned economies to a today's market economy. This thesis also describes an impact of events such as the entry of Slovakia and the Czech Republic to European Union and the euro introduction to development of foreign trade relations.

The aim of this thesis is the identification of main factors that determines the structure and character of international trade with goods among China and se-lected countries of the European Union which are Czech republic, Kingdom of the Netherlands and Kingdom of Sweden. The introductory part describes various rea-sons that make countries participate in international trade and describes factors that influence the trade. Subsequently, the paper is focused on analysis of com-modity structure of trade of the mentioned countries and factor intensity analysis. Based on the results of these analysis the main factors that determine the bilateral flow of goods between China and each one of the selected countries, are identified. As a result of this paper we can conclude that the main factors that determine the trade are comparative advantages of the countries. We can distinguish between qualitative comparative advantage that is typical for countries of the European union or cost-based comparative advantage typical for China.
Current Economical Sitaution of Sweden and its trade with the Czech Republic

This bachelors thesis called Current Economical Sitaution of Sweden and its trade with the Czech Republic pursues Swedish kingdom, one of the highly developed country, its current situation and trade with Czech Republic. The first chapter informs about basic demographic, geographical and macroeconomic data about Sweden. The second chapter is focused on swedish foreign trade, describes commodity structure of exports and imports. The third chapter of this thesis describes the position of one chosen swedish mark on the czech market - Volvo Group. The main part of this chapter is focused on one chosen unit Volvo Trucks Czech Republic and mentions the biggest competitors. The aim of this thesis is to analyse and based on macroeconomic data evaluate current situation of swedish economy, describe international relationships between the Czech Republic and Sweden and analyse the situation of Volvo Trucks on the czech market.
Analysis of foreign trade with EU members at the time of European debt crisis

This bachelor thesis analyzes the development of foreign trade of the Czech Republic with members of the EU in time of the European Debt Crisis. At the beginning of the thesis a foreign trade is defined, given its subject, dynamics and comparative advantage of the Czech Republic. An analysis is given of territorial and commodity structure of foreign trade. Territorial analysis is performed using regression analysis of data from 1999-2009. Also is defined legislative framework. The conclusion summarizes the acquired knowledge.

There is characterized Indian foreign-political orientation. Furthermore, there is a historical-economic development of India in this part.
Analysis of development of Czech foreign trade in last decade

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to provide characteristics of the external trade of the Czech Republic for the last decade and to analyze the impact of the EU accession. First chapter deals with the basic trade theories and their impact on an economy. Second chapter focuses on the development of the external trade of the Czech Republic between 2000 and 2011 with regard to export, import and trade balance. Third chapter's aim is to analyze commodity and territorial structure of the external trade. Last part is dedicated to the trade with the most important trading countries of the Czech Republic. Development of external trade relations and the impact of the EU membership are concluded at the end of the thesis. Data from the Czech Statistical Office and Ministry of Industry and Trade were used in it.
Analysis of the impact of membership in Comecon on Czechoslovak foreign trade in the years 1949-1959

Bachelor thesis deals with the Council for Mutual Economic Assistance (Comecon) and its effects on the Czechoslovak foreign trade in the years 1949-1959. The work is mainly focused on changes in territorial and commodity structure of Czechoslovak foreign trade on the background of development of the Comecon. Partly also mentions impacts on associated industrial production. During this period, Czechoslovakia underwent the most extensive changes due to rebuilding the economy, which was directly associated with the Comecon and its effects on foreign trade. Through the Comecon, Czechoslovakia was forced to accept the role of supplier of other member states of products of engineering industry. Czechoslovakia thus helped with the industrialization of less developed countries. The work also points to the dominant role of the Soviet Union in Comecon, and how could politicize its activities to promote their political goals. The intention is also to outline the work of foreign trade in the Soviet model from theoretical point of view. The aim is therefore to assess the consequences of membership in the Comecon to Czechoslovak foreign trade and its functioning in the Soviet model based on planning and centralization.
Export opportunities for Czech companies in the African market

Czech exporters take a significant place in the domestic economy and influence its performance to a great extent. Exporting opportunities represent an important circle of interests of individual companies as well as of government officials. The officials create primary conditions in which Czech exporters operate. For this reason, the first chapter deals with the Czech foreign business policy in the relation to African states. This chapter of the bachelor thesis describes the development of Czech foreign policy since 1945 and international agreements between the EU/ the Czech Republic and African countries. The next chapters aim at the main point of thesis, which lies in a revelation of export opportunities for Czech companies in the African market. Two methods are used for this revelation. The first method analyzes the territorial and commodity structure of Czech exports and imports of African countries. The next method for determination of perspective markets is the analysis of African countries according to political situation, economic indicators and conditions for exporters. The final results are summarized in the third chapter where the potential areas of export to Africa with the most perspective markets are written down. One part of the thesis is a questionnaire for exporters, too. The questions are related to their business activities in Africa and also how exporters are satisfied with the Czech institutions for export.
Analysis of development of the Czech foreign trade after entry to the European Union

This bachelor thesis is focused on the development of foreign trade of the Czech Republic after entry to the EU . First, there are generally characterized functions of foreign trade. Much of this work deals with the territorial and commodity structure and by using different indicators is trying to analyze them. There are also described changes in the foreign trade policy of joining the European Union.
