Sheltered housing at Kociánka in Brno
Schwab, Viktor ; Šerek, Jiří (referee) ; Františák, Luboš (advisor)
The original intention was a development on the edge in the peripheral agricultural area of the Kociánka Center complex and at the city’s inappropriate car park near to the industrial complex of the former Královopolská engineering company. By developing and adding new functions, this periphery and the border of the complex Kociánka Center can be transformed into a new space communicating with the outside world. The proposal focuses on creating homes for shared living for adult people with various types of disabilities and creating new job opportunities on the southern peripheral edge of the Kociánka Center complex. Transformation of periphery can be reached by modifying the southern edge, revitalizing the existing car park with a hydroponic greenhouse system, pavilion, and a photovoltaic rooftop power plant. Behind this barrier building there is a calm place for sheltered housing.
Dust
Zadražilová, Lenka ; Klímová, Barbora (referee) ; Kvíčala, Petr (advisor)
The bachelor thesis will focus on dust. It works with particles that are rather neglected or, on the contrary, unwanted and undesirable for people. The work tries on a long-term effort to approach and beautify this (according to common perception) anesthetic part of our homes, air and world. Elevating a disparaged part of all lives. It explores how dust and all the elements of dust can be used in art. The project is based on several years of interest in dust and the possibilities of its visibility, preservation and use for artistic creation. It is the basis for several cycles of various related works. In the cycles appear different approaches to dust processing and different dust issues. In the units are highlighted various layers that dust can have not only in the literal meaning (layers, dust deposits on things, in places) but also in a transferred meaning (as a literary, scientific, philosophical, psychological concept)
Urban design of waterfront in Třebíč
Kadlecová, Sylva ; Ležatka,, Lukáš (referee) ; Pavlovský, Tomáš (advisor)
The thesis of my dissertation is an urban design of waterfront of Jihlava river in Třebíč, which runs through the center of the city and becomes its part. The inner city and the river basin are wedged into the valley, which is formed by a rocky terrain. The territory I am dealing with concerns several parts of Třebíč – Stařečka, the Inner Town, Zámostí and Podklášteří. This area is defined from the south by an arterial road and the bus station across the Suchniova street, and the main road on the Smila Osovského street. From the north, this area is lined by a rocky terrain, conservation area – the Jewish town which is registered on a UNESCO World Heritage List, under chateau meadow, continuing up to the summer swimming area Polanka. The outcome of this thesis is a total revitalization of described area and transformation of this town into an attractive Down structure that would offer a wide range of leisure activities, not only for people living in this territory but for tourists as well. The described territory is divided into several parts – the part in proximity to the outdoor swimming pool Polanka, then the part concerning the bus station and the right riverside. The main idea is to interconnect these parts and to komplete the urban structure following the original structure of the buildings. The new buildings would be mostly residential, with commercial and administrative areas on the first three floors. This administrative part also creates some sort of noise barrier from the arterial road. Clean areas intended for living are localized along the riverside in the western part of Stařečka. The flat orientation responds to the calm potential of Jihlava river, which creates a pleasant visual perception. Therefore, the quiet rooms are orientated to the north. Along the banks of the Jihlava river is proposed a quiet zone with both sport and recreational character, which helps changes of passive and active zones. In a close proximity of these

The Death of Jesus - Sacrifacing himself for the People of God for Gerhard Lohfink
Kříž, Ondřej ; Frývaldský, Pavel (advisor) ; Mohelník, Tomáš (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to analyze, present and evaluate the concept of Jesus' death as a sacrifice for God's people in selected texts of the German New Testament exegete Gerhard Lohfink (b. 1934). The thesis briefly introduces the author's life and his areas of research. The second part presents the basic thought structures through which Lohfink approaches the life and mystery of Jesus of Nazareth. This second part also includes a brief christological analysis of Lohfink's texts. While the second part is mostly christological, the following section is focused on soteriology. This chapter is focused on Jesus' death itself. It shows the deep Old Testament background of Jesus' gestures and sayings. Lohfink's interpretation of Jesus' death then culminates in its conception as a covenant sacrifice that Jesus offers on behalf of God's people. Then, in our author's thinking, lays Jesus down his life for Israel, the church, and the world.

Dvořáková, Tereza ; Michela, Miroslav (advisor) ; Pýcha, Čeněk (referee)
The diploma thesis is devoted to the events that took place in Czechoslovakia after the end of the Second World War. The main topic of the thesis is limited to the years 1945-1948. The focus of the work is on three historical moments that shaped the restored republic and Czechoslovak society at the time, and the possibilities of their didactic interpretation in history classes. These are the displacement of the German population, decrees of the President of the Republic and retribution and people's judiciary. The first part of the work presents a historical interpretation of these events. The information that shaped the displacement and creation of the decrees is presented here. The course of post-war event is described here, the most important decrees and their functions are mentioned, and marginally, the work also touches on the settlement of the borderlands. The core part of the work is based on the analysis of textbooks for primary and secondary schools for the period from the 1990s to the present, which provides information on the development of interpretation and the degree of representation of individual topics. Next is the analysis of framework educational programs and selected school educational programs, which presents what opportunities the programs provide and whether the representation...
Revision of Renaissance values by Ariosto and Cervantes
Horká, Alice ; Blinková Pelánová, Eva (advisor) ; Pelán, Jiří (referee)
The diploma thesis deals with the revision of Renaissance values in the works of Orlando Furioso and The Ingenious don Quixote de la Mancha. The first part is focused on the identification of contemporary Renaissance values. The main part of the thesis is devoted to the analysis of the two works mentioned above. The last part refers to the comparison of these works in the context of the laid out Renaissance values. The analysis and subsequent comparison of the two works shows that the chivalric theme, with which both authors work, changed already in the second half of the 15th century, and works that parody this genre appeared. Both authors portray realities different from the idealized world of Breton novels. The ideals are unattainable and unrealistic in both works, the characters move in a world that does not belong to them, they only live in it with a feeling of loss and alienation. At the same time, they are no longer idealized representatives of certain groups, and therefore they can make mistakes, they can behave contrary to moral principles and chivalric virtues, they also act on the basis of their inner motivations, wishes, weakness or fear. The stories of ordinary people and soldiers who solve their problems and desires also come to the foreground. We get to the essential questions of...
The phenomen of holy folly in the Western Catholic and Eastern Orthodox traditions: the meaning of this phenomen in christianity
ŠIMROVÁ, Hana
The goal of this thesis is to understand the meaning of holy folly. The Bible often uses the term fool for godless man. We can see the change in meaning of foolishness in the teaching of apostle Paul. The wisdom of God incarnated in the cross of Jesus Christ is foolishness in the eyes of this world. Antropological concept of liminality and communitas makes the holy folly possible to be interpreted in wider meaning as a liminal person who maintains and introduces liminality to the structure of christian society. Holy fool is an eschatological person who refers to the existence of the other world and who does not live up to the standards of this world. Holy folly is a specific charisma to which only some people are called. This charisma is to serve the restoration and development of the Church. Every form of holy folly depicts enthusiasm for God.
Alienation, helplessness and loneliness of a foreigner. Representation of anxious feelings in the prose of Egon Hostovský
Duda, Adriana ; Hrdlička, Milan (advisor) ; Vučka, Tomáš (referee)
This thesis focuses on the work of the Czech writer Egon Hostovský, who spent most of his life in exile. The central theme of his prose was wandering, exile, the desire for anchoring and, above all, a person who was a stranger among people. These existential questions about the foreigner's place in the world are still relevant today. The aim of the thesis is to define the basic characteristics of the most prominent of the anxious feelings appearing in the work of the above mentioned author, i.e. the feeling of alienation, strangeness and loneliness. The area of research are mainly novels Listy z vyhnanství, Cizinec hledá byt, Dobročinný večírek, Všeobecné spiknutí and Tři noci. In these works, the subject of the feeling of alienation, internal and external exile is explored using the method of gradual analysis of the image of the foreigner, the motif of exile and the question of the otherness and difference of the characters. The analysis also focuses on the linguistic side, which in the selected prose provides a remarkable perspective on the presentation of the foreigner, the characteristics of his inner world and his position in the physical world. The theoretical basis of the work consists of publications dealing with the analysis of Hostovský's prose, especially in the context of existential...
Live in spite of…
Sokolov, Maksym ; Brychta, František (referee) ; Štěpán, Marek (advisor)
Throughout the history of the existence and development of civilization, man has always moved and changed the place and conditions of life. These processes are characterized by the term – "migration of man". There are a number of factors that affect migration and determine its types. These include: economic and social situations, education, family ties, conflicts and wars, natural conditions, persecution for various reasons, etc. In recent years, Europe and the world have increasingly faced migration crises caused by wars or pandemics. According to scientists, climate change, global warming and reducing the number of resources needed for life will inevitably cause migration waves in the future. Experience shows that society is often not prepared for sudden situations and do not have a sufficient set of quick decisions. This again creates a situation where a large group of people who are forced to leave or have lost their place of permanent residence, get to new places with low or critical living conditions. In the process of studying the topic and issues of temporary housing, another problem arose, which is faced not only by people who have changed their lives and moved to a new place. Often, for one reason or another, i.e. war or natural disasters, a situation arises in which the housing of a certain group of people is destroyed or uninhabitable and requires repair and restoration. In this case, people have their land secured by the necessary communications, but the damaged house forces them to look for housing options elsewhere, whether it is living in unmarked areas on its territory in unsuitable conditions, such premises become garages, cellars or warehouse buildings. The result of the work is a project of temporary modular housing, solved on the basis of an analysis of the world's professional and intuitive, folk, experience in the construction of “temporary housing”. Which meet the requirements of fast construction, cost-effectiveness, modularity and recycling. It can be used in a variety of life situations if necessary to provide temporary shelter and such offers worthy living conditions for modern man.
