Examining the quality of teaching psychology in secondary schools based on the method 3A
LEHAROVÁ, Jana
The diploma thesis is focused on the issue of the quality of teaching psychology at secondary schools. The work is devided into two parts. The introduction to the theoretical part of the work is devoted to the introduction of didactics of psychology and it's basic principles, on which is based as constructivism and communication concept of didactics. Other chapters focus on the characteristics of teaching psychology at secondary schools only in the Czech Republic, but also in Slovakia. The content of the practical part includes two teaching situations, from which two didactic case studies where created by using 3A procedure. The result of the application of this qualitative method is an insight into the teaching of psychology, which can evaluate its quality on the basis of integrity three layers (thematic, conceptual, competence) within the so-called model of in-depth structure of teaching. Alternative approaches are possible to improve the quality of teaching. Focus on fulfilling the goals of teaching psychology, psychological literacy.
Metal-organic structures as additives in polyvinylidene fluoride
Pisarenko, Tatiana
This paper describes the synthesis and characterization of the first-ever combination of polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) semi-crystalline polymer and iron-based metallic-organic structures (MOF). The resulting specimens were made in the form of thin fibers. It is assumed that thanks to these additives in the form of nanoparticles, the performance of PVDF nanofibers can be enhanced in the future. Both components can currently be considered as emerging materials. This is the initial successful production and presentation of results obtained by electron microscopy (SEM), Raman spectroscopy, and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR). These methods provided a basic overview and compared the differences in sample morphology and different phase conformations between a sample with MOF and a sample without MOF.
SWIFT as a Tool Not Only for European Integration
Matejka, Ján ; Schlossberger, Otakar
The paper discusses the importance of The Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication (hereinafter 'SWIFT') not only for European integration. It partially maps its historical development with emphasis on the importance for mutual communication between financial institutions. At the same time, however, it can be a very suitable means of obtaining a range of information as evidence for criminal proceedings in clarifying financial crime offenses. In their research, the authors deal with various approaches to the processing of data obtained from the SWIFT system, which will be submitted to law enforcement authorities. These documents can then be linked to other information, which in turn will help clarify possible financial crime, especially in cross-border, or foreign overlap. The authors' study is based on the hypothesis that 'SWIFT information can contribute to the clarification / detection of financial crime'.

Kovářová, Lenka ; Šatínský, Dalibor (advisor) ; Pospíšilová, Marie (referee)
Charles Univerzity in Prague Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of Analytical Chemistry Candidate: Lenka Kovářová Consultant: Doc. RNDr. Dalibor Šatínský, PhD. Title of thesis: Development of HPLC method for determination of vitamin E acetate in preparations Geladrink A HPLC method was developed for the determination of content of vitamin E-acetate in preparation Geladrink Forte. The method is based on using Chromolith Performance RP- 18e column (100 x 4.6 mm) and UV detection at 290 nm. The vitamin E-acetate was separated in the presence of internal standard cholecalciferol from ballast matrix. There was used isocratic elution of the mobile phase methanol - water (98:2) at a flow-rate of 2.0 ml/min and at temperature 30 řC during the measurement. The system enabled successful separation in time less than 4 min. The retention time of cholecalciferol was 2.26 min and the retention time of vitamin E-acetate was 3.22 min. Chromatographic resolution between cholecalciferol and vitamin E-acetate was 5.248. Method was applied to analysis of vitamin E-acetate in preparation Pro-Visio, too. The found concentrations of vitamin E-acetate were re-counted on content of vitamin E declared by that the producer. Keywords: vitamin E-acetate, HPLC, Geladrink, Pro-Visio.

Proteomic characterization of the host cell after interaction with intracellular pathogen Francisella tularensis
Římalová, Pavla ; Šimůnek, Tomáš (advisor) ; Klimentová, Jana (referee)
Diploma Thesis Proteomic characterization of host cell after interaction with intracellular pathogen Francisella tularensis Pavla Římalová Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of Biochemical Sciences 2009 Francisella tularensis (F. tularensis) is an intracellular gramnegative bacterium, causative agent of the serious human disease tularemia. It is a typical bacterium with unknown mechanisms of pathogenesis. A proteome characterization of host-pathogen interaction could significantly contribute to their elucidation. The aim of this diploma thesis was to reveal the protein expression changes in macrophage mouse cell line J774.2 after infection with F. tularensis using the quantitative "shotgun" proteome technology. The proteomes of host cells infected with F. tularensis for three various time intervals (6, 12 and 24 hours) were compared with the proteome of non-infected cells. Four subcellular fractions were prepared using ProteoExtract Subcellular Extraction Kit (S-PEK, Calbiochem). Fraction enriched for cytosolic proteins was further analyzed and quantified by iTRAQ-HPLC-MS/MS technology. This approach led to the successful identification of 248 proteins, the production of 37 proteins was then observed to be different compared to the non-infected cells....
