The restriction of real property for the protection of nature and landscape

The aim of the diploma thesis is the analysis of legal instruments regarding the restriction of the ownership of real property arising out of the protection of nature and landscape. This diploma thesis is divided into 7 chapters including the introduction and the conclusion. The second chapter deals with the constitutional origin of the respective legal institutes. The third chapter deals with the conflict of the fundamental rights. The fourth chapter provides for the fundamental institutes, their basic components, and their legal basis in private and public law. The fifth chapter is concerned with the particular restrictions of the ownership of real property as stipulated by relevant legal regulations. This chapter is divided into the analysis of the act no. 114/1992 Coll. in general and the analysis of the general and special protection of nature and Natura 2000 and provides examples of the respective legal institutes. The sixth chapter defines the restriction of the ownership rights arising out of other acts. The conclusion is concerned with the comparison of the aforementioned legal institutes and the evaluation of the particular features thereof. The conclusion also provides proposals for prospective changes in the relevant legislation.

Conceptual tools of spatial planning and its specifics in specially protected areas in Šumava

Conceptual tools of spatial planning and its specifics in specially protected areas in Šumava The thesis concerns with the relation between nature and landscape protection and spatial planning in Šumava. In Šumava we find Czech biggest national park and the whole area is protected with some other territorial protection tools of landscape and nature. Simultaneously we find in Šumava a large number of villages some of them located in the most strictly protected areas. In 2017 an amendment to the act no. 114/1992 Coll., on nature and landscape protection, was approved. The thesis was created at the turn of 2019 and 2020 when some territorial protection tools, such as quiet zones in national park, national park management plans and national parks zoning systems were redefined based on the 2017 amendment. This amendment has changed significantly the protection tools of landscape and nature and strengthen its role in the national parks. The mayors of municipalities were outright against the amendment and argued that as a result of this amendment the development of the villages would be limited. Trusts in private international law

114 TRUSTS IN PRIVATE INTERNATIONAL LAW ABSTRACT This thesis aims to expound and analyse the trust legislation in the context of International Private Law as well as to describe its key features in Czech Private Law for particular purposes. The first chapter summarizes the development of trust and description of its historical forms. The second chapter is dedicated to the thorough description of Czech substantive law on trusts governed by the Civil Code and the legislation contained in Act on the Public Registers of Legal and Natural Persons and on the Register of Trusts and Act on the Register of Beneficial Owners. Slight deficiencies have been encountered in national legislation, for instance, the incompatibility of Act on the Register of Beneficial Owners, Act governing private international law, and Act on the Public Registers of Legal and Natural Persons and on the Register of Trusts when it comes to foreign trusts or the unsatisfactory regulation of the administration of trusts by legal persons. Israel's population policy

The thesis deals with the population development of Israel in the context of individual population policy measures between 1948-2022. The basic concepts of population policies and theories are anchored in the literature review. Specific measures that have been taken in Israel are also discussed and the issue is placed in a political and historical context. The literature review is followed by an analytical part that examines indicators of fertility, migration and assisted reproduction in the context of Israel's birth and immigration policy. In the conclusion, space is also devoted to the possible future direction of Israel's population policies. In the results of the thesis, the influence of a specific measure on population development is not clear, but the partial connections between Israel's population policy and population development are primarily pointed out. Adrian Brisku, Ph.D. Abstract Serbia and Kosovo have been under conflict since the beginning of the 1998-99 Kosovo war, when Serbia carried out ethnic cleansing against Kosovo-Albanians, leaving over 12,000 dead and almost a million displaced. Since then, Kosovo has declared itself independent since 2008, however, Serbia refuses to recognize its breakaway province. In the past 25 years, the media in Kosovo has undertaken a role that is different from that of a traditional 'Western' journalist.' Journalists undergo efforts to contribute further to the de-escalation of the conflict and deliver justice to the victims. The Issue of Childcare in a Home Environment in a State of Emergency

The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of care for children in the home environment in an emergency state. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to find out how the closure of schools due to the state of emergency affected parents in the work sphere and in society. In the theoretical part, there are four chapters that define the period of younger school age, Covid-19, state of emergency and distance learning. The practical part is developed using a quantitative research strategy using the questionnaire survey method. The respondents were parents of children who were aged 6 to 12 in the 2020/2021 school year and participated in distance learning during the closure of schools due to the spread of Covid-19. A total of 77 respondents participated in the survey. The data obtained by means of the questionnaire survey were then processed in Microsoft Excel. The results of the research showed that parents who did not have the opportunity and their jobs did not allow working from home during the pandemic could hardly cope with the combination of childcare and work responsibilities and had to use the help of other family members and friends. On the other hand, for parents who had this opportunity, the combination of work and child care was a little easier. The bachelor thesis can serve as a feedback for social workers with families with children, but also for teachers on how home schooling and child care affected parents during the state of emergency.

Evaluation of ECG in prehospital care

This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of ECG evaluations in pre-hospital emergency care by a paramedic. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part focuses on the definition of a paramedic and his/her competencies, instrumentation, and anatomy of the cardiac conduction system. Furthermore, it describes the methods of ECG evaluations, types of arrhythmias and their treatment in pre-hospital emergency care. The major objective of the thesis was to map the ability of paramedics to interpret the waveforms of ECG recordings. The practical part of the bachelor thesis was based on a quantitative research investigation carried out in the form of non-standardized questionnaires. The research sample consisted of 51 paramedics from the Region of South Bohemia. The research took place from March to April 2023, with the participation in it being entirely voluntary. The collected data were subsequently analysed and compiled into graphs, which were completed with a commentary. The knowledge in interpretation of ECG waveforms was mapped by a series of 24 questions in which the respondents could obtain a total of 35 points. The high knowledge of the respondents is demonstrated by the fact that three quarters of the respondents achieved 80 percent or more correct answers. Two hypotheses were determined in the research part. The first hypothesis suggested that the knowledge in interpreting ECG waveforms is affected by the length of experience. The respondents working in emergency medical services for 0-3 years had the highest score (median 93%). However, the result of the Kruskal-Waliss test revealed no statistically significant difference between the four groups compared (p = 0.51). The second hypothesis assumed that the knowledge in interpreting ECG waveforms is influenced by the type of previous workplace. The respondents who had worked in the accident and emergency department before joining the emergency medical service were the most proficient in ECG assessment and interpretation (median 96%). Here again, the Kruskal-Wallis test revealed no statistically significant difference between the four groups compared (p = 0.31). The obtained results can provide useful information for the possible implementation of an educational seminar for paramedics.

Observing and analyzing this process provide information about medication administration errors and the factors influencing them. As a result of observational findings, we can create interventions to improve the administration process. Aim: The aim of this work was to describe and analyze medication administration errors in a healthcare facility. Methods: The direct observation method was used for observation. Data collection took place in three departments (surgery, neurology, follow-up care) in 2021 and 2022. In both years, collection took place in each department on 3 consecutive days. Morning, midday and evening medication administration was monitored. An electronic database was used for recording. 1 ABSTRACT Specifics of Landownership in Specially Protected Areas The thesis deals with specifics of landownership in specially protected areas. The objective is to describe and analyze institutes that a landowner is presumably to encounter in specially protected areas. The thesis also presents the specifics related to the state as landowner in specially protected areas. First chapter as an introduction to the issue presents groundings of specially protected areas in legislation of the Czech Republic. Second chapter firstly provides a definition of landowner in specially protected areas. In connection with the state as landowner in specially protected areas, the rest of the second chapter is dedicated to latter mentioned issue. Followed by an introduction of fundamental institutes that the state implements in terms of achieving the aim of the state being the majority landowner of selected specially protected areas due to its uniqueness. The legal regulation of specially protected areas imposes significant restrictions on ownership rights in real property, more significantly on landownership. Identification of basolateral localization motifs of the urate transporter GLUT9 using functional studies.

The GLUT9 transporter, coded by the SLC2A9 gene, is one of the key proteins enabling the trasnfer of uric acid across the membrane in epithelial cells of the proximal tubule. In humans, this protein is naturally expressed in two variants: long (GLUT9L) and short (GLUT9S), which differ from one another by their N-terminus sequence. Each of these isoforms is localized on a different pole of the epithelial cell. The signal sequence/motif responsible for this difference is presumed to be located in the aforementioned N-terminus domain. Numerous allelic variants influencing the transport properties of the protein have also been described. The first aim of this thesis is to verify the influence of a newly discovered variant, characterized by substituting of valine for leucine in the 114th position (V114L, in the short form its corresponding variant V85L) on the ability to transport uric acid. Second aim is to verify the influence of mutations in selected motifs, which could be responsible for the localization of the protein, thus also changing its transport properties. Two dileucine motifs 12LGL14 and 33LL34 and one tyrosine motif 84YIKA87 were tested.
