Apartment building
Burian, Jaroslav ; Hradil, Dušan (referee) ; Kolář, Radim (advisor)
The subject of the bachelor thesis is the design and processing of project documentation for the construction of a new residential building in Nosislav. The residential building is designed on a plot located on the northern edge of the village, the site is leveled. The building of the apartment house is designed as a detached house with one underground floor and two above-ground floors. There are a total of five residential units on the upper floors, one of which is designed as 1+KK, the other residential units are designed as 3+KK. In the basement of the building there is the technical background, storage space for each apartment and communal areas such as a shared warehouse, workshop and community room. The load-bearing system is a combined wall system, the vertical load-bearing structures are made up of lost formwork on the underground floor and lightweight concrete with lime-sand blocks on the above-ground floors. The horizontal load-bearing structure is designed as a monolithic reinforced concrete slab. The individual floors are connected by a two-arm monolithic reinforced concrete staircase. The roof is constructed as a truss roof with ceramic roofing. The building is insulated with a contact thermal insulation system.
Single-family house in Hodonín
Zemánek, Jan ; Jechová, Marie (referee) ; Ostrý, Milan (advisor)
The goal of my bachelor’s thesis is to design a nZEB house for family of four. It is located on the edge of town Hodonín. The house has two floors with a one floor garage attached to the side. The first floor contains utility room, some storage area, kitchen to the north that is connected with living room and dining room facing south. The second floor than has two bedrooms facing south-east, study and master bedroom facing north-east and bathroom facing northwest. The roof of the house is flat with surface form waterproof membrane. Roof of garage is extensive green roof. The foundations of the building are reinforced concrete strips. Load bearing walls are masonry designed from sand-lime blocks with external mineral wool insulation. Horizontal load bearing structures will be made from reinforced cast on site concrete. Partition walls are planned to be from plasterboard. The main source of heat for the house will be air to water heat pump with performance of 8,02 kW and inbuilt electric insert to get temperature needed for floor heating. For hot water there will be separate hot water cylinder with volume 208 l and inbuilt electric insert. The ventilation system will be MVHR with air exchange of 310 m3/h and bypass system. The internal sewage system will be connected to the city sewer, while rainwater will be collected, used for watering garden, or infiltrated into the soil. For cooling external shutters will be enough.
Detached house in a suburban area
Cech, Aleš ; Kolář, Radim (referee) ; Jelínek, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis focuses on the design of nearly zero-energy house for a minimum of a five-member family. It includes parts A and B. Part A contains structural and architectural design, fire safety and assessment of building physics (acoustics, sunlight, and thermal assessment). Part B contains detailed design of air conditioning system, concept design of selected building services (heating, cooling, electrical installation, rainwater management) and the energy performance certificate. The house is located in the suburb of Znojmo, has two storeys, L-shaped floor plan, with a flat green roof and a car port next to the entrance from the northern side. The load-bearing walls are designed of large format sand-lime blocks with thermal insulation made of expanded polystyrene. The load-bearing floor and roof structures are designed as cast-in-place reinforced concrete slabs. The foundation slab is laying on foam glass granules. The source of space heating and DHW heating is a heat pump with a borehole collector. Space heating and cooling is provided by underfloor heating and fancoil units, simultaneous cooling regenerates the temperature of the soil in the borehole collector. Ventilation is provided by a mechanical, equal pressure system with heat recovery. The supply air is filtered and distributed by disc valves. There is a photovoltaic power plant on the roof with battery storage in the utility room. Rainwater is collected from the roof of the house, paved areas and parking shed roof stored in accumulation tank and used to water the garden. Excess rainwater is infiltrated in underground seepage.
Energy efficient family house
Netopilová, Denisa ; Brzoň, Roman (referee) ; Vlach, František (advisor)
The aim of this Bachelor’s thesis is to design a nearly-zero-energy building. The level of documentation is for the building permit. First part focuses on architectural and structural design, as well as on Building Physics and Fire Safety, the second part on building service design. The designed detached house stands on a flat site in Lipník nad Bečvou. It is a two-storey house with an attached single storey garage. Both the house and the garage have flat green roofs. The main entrance is oriented to the north. On the first floor, there is a hallway, a utility room, a bathroom, an office, and a living room connected with a kitchen and a pantry. The private part of the house is on the second floor, which consists of a master bedroom with a walk-in closet, two other bedrooms, a bathroom, a toilet and a laundry room. The foundations are made of foam glass. The vertical structures are from sand lime blocks. The horizontal load-bearing structures are made of in-situ reinforced concrete. The heating is provided by a heat pump air-water using an underfloor heating system. The heat pump in combination with two solar thermal panels supply heating of the domestic water. Mechanical ventilation with heat recovery is installed and used in the house. The documentation for MVHR is on the level of detailed design. Wastewater treatment, electric installations and rainwater system are also designed. The rainwater is collected mainly from the roofs and stored in an underground water tank. This water is then used for flushing the toilet and in summer months for watering the garden. This part about building service design also includes the Building’s Energy Performance Certificate.
Apartment build in Slušovice
Vyvlečková, Iveta ; Pěnčík, Jan (referee) ; Dohnal, Jakub (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor thesis is to elaborate the project documentation of a new residential building in Slušovice. The building is designed as a detached, non-basement building. It has an irregular shape and is covered with a flat single-skin roof. On the first floor there is a background of the house, a technical room, warehouses, a meeting room and a cleaning room. Parking spaces are provided on the property. Floors 2.NP, 3.NP, 4.NP are used for housing and in total there are 12 residential units each of size 3+1. The vertical structural system is made of SILKA sand-lime blocks. Horizontal load-bearing structures are made of reinforced concrete monolithic slab. The project documentation also includes a basic assessment of the building in terms of building physics.
Detached house in Horní Stakory
Hornychová, Anna ; Melcr, Petr (referee) ; Fišarová, Zuzana (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to design a nearly zero-energy detached house. It is located in Horní Stakory near Mladá Boleslav. The project is divided into two parts. The first part is the documentation for the construction of the building. The second part focuses on the internal environment of the house especially the heating system. It is a two-storey L-shaped building with an attached garage with a flat roof. The main part of the building has a gable roof. The first floor of the building is designed as a living area – living room, study or guest room, bathroom, utility room. The second floor is designed as private – bedrooms, bathroom and WC. The building is based on concrete foundation strips. The vertical structures are masonry made of sand-lime bricks. The building is insulated with the ETICS. Horizontal load-bearing structures are made of reinforced concrete. Heat losses through ventilation are eliminated using a mechanical ventilation unit with heat recovery. The heat pump will heat the supplied air and provide water heating for the underfloor heating. The main building will be heated by underfloor heating supplemented by electric towel heaters and occasionally by an electric heater in a non-heated garage. Solar panels will heat the hot domestic water. Electrical energy will be supplied from photovoltaic panels located above the garage and from the grid. Rainwater will be accumulated in a storage tank and used further for watering. The excess rainwater will be soaked up.
