Differential and integral calculus in economic problems
RADOVÁ, Lenka
The thesis deals with the theory of differential and integral calculus and its application to economic problems. The main aim of the thesis is to create a comprehensive set of examples and to show the wide range of applications of differential and integral equations in economics. The theoretical part focuses on and presents practical applications of differential and integral calculus in economic problems and models. This part includes relevant economic theories and provides the theoretical basis for the practical part. The theoretical knowledge is further applied to economic problems that can be solved using derivatives and integrals, including an analysis of how and why these mathematical procedures are applied to a given type of problem. This subsection contains a brief description of the relevant theories, the corresponding methods, the characteristics of the models applied, etc. The practical part aims to use Maple software to visualise economic models into graphs based on real data. Maple can be used to simulate different economic situations to see how changes in input conditions affect output. The thesis includes solved examples, a study of mathematical and economic problems resulting in their solution, a comparison of results in an economic context, a discussion, and the formulation of conclusions.
Improving material flow by using a logistics train
Grepl, Radovan ; Urbanovský, Jan (referee) ; Zeizinger, Lukáš (advisor)
The main content of this master´s thesis is the analysis of the current state and the proposal an internal supply of assembly lines in the company Koyo Bearings s. r. o. This company specializes in the production of bearings mainly for the automotive industry. The supply of the lines operates on the principle of Mikl-run. The practical part focuses on creating a simulation model using the Plant Simulation simulation software from Siemens PLM Software. Based on the created model, several variants were proposed to optimize the loading of the packaging material. These variants were analyzed and evaluated.
Private schools in the primary education system: case study of the Karlovy Vary Region
Donovová, Gabriela ; Veselý, Arnošt (advisor) ; Mouralová, Magdalena (referee)
This diploma thesis focuses on private primary in the Karlovy Vary Region. It presents the facts about private primary schools from the perspective of various authors who primarily deal with the topic in the Czech environment. The theoretical basis of the work is based on the supply and demand for education. Attention is also paid to parents as actors who have a significant influence on the existence of private primary schools. The research part provides insights into the market of private primary education in the Karlovy Vary Region. There are introduced individual schools that have been established in the region from 1991 to the present. The aim of this thesis is to objectively evaluate the schools located in the Karlovy Vary Region based on the analysis of data on individual schools. Furthermore, the probable reasons that lead to the establishment of these schools are...

DC/DC converter 12V/300V
Žurek, Jan ; Hanák, Pavel (referee) ; Kubánek, David (advisor)
This Bachelor´s Thesis is about switch power supplies theory. It contains comparation with power supplies made of linear components and briefly describes principals of each type. Bigger attention is devoted to fly-back engagement, on which´s basic is then in practice designed particular switch power supply. All key components are counted, including initiation of important species interaction, especially of transformator, MOSFET semiconductor triode, output diode, and there are chosen important components, which are subsequently implemented into the particular switch power supply engagement. This blocking engagement turned out to be functionless. That was why I decided to use engagement called half-bridge, which was viable.
