Risk behaviour of children in foster care

The diploma thesis deals with the issue of risky behavior of children in foster care with a focus on the causes and consequences of risky behavior. The first part of the thesis is focused on the characteristics of substitute family care, and in more detail it is explained in foster care, then the thesis deals with the definition of risky behavior, where I explain in more detail the different types of risky behavior, the causes of the emergence and prevention of risky behavior, the role of the accompanying organization and the authority of social and legal protection of children. The second part of the thesis is focused on research, where the main goal was to map risky behavior in children in foster care by focusing on the consequences of their actions.

The influence of leisure time on socially pathological phenomena in lower secondary education

The thesis deals with the influence of leisure time on socially pathological phenomena in pupils of the 2nd grade of primary school. The theoretical part describes the concept of leisure time and its meaning, as well as functions and factors that affect leisure time. Subsequently, it characterizes socially pathological phenomena, deals with the cause of these phenomena and their classification together with prevention. It also contains a research survey based on quantitative research. The aim of the thesis is to find out whether leisure time has an impact on socially pathological phenomena in pupils of the 2nd grade of primary school.

Leisure time plays a crucial role in the development of juveniles, but limited opportunities can negatively impact their mental and physical well-being. The thesis focuses on providing diverse activities, including sports and culture, to support personal development. The theoretical part defines key terms, while the practical part presents research results with proposals for educational institutions. The thesis provides insights for implementing new leisure programs to enhance the quality of life for clients in educational institutions.

Use of experience in the prevention of risky behavior

The topic of this thesis is the use of experience in risky behaviour. The work is divided into four chapters. The first three chapters are theoretical. In the first chapter, we deal with preventive risk behaviour and related legislation, the role of prevention methodology and other workers, the status of the school prevention program together with the use of classroom hours; followed by teaching a separate subject of health education. The second chapter describes individual types of risky behaviour (regarding occurrence among pupils in elementary schools), their specific signs and manifestations. The last theoretical chapter deals with experiential pedagogy, its starting points, basic principles, and methods. We also present selected experiential programs that are used specifically for risky behaviour in selected educational facilities. The goal of the work is to find out what the experience of prevention methodology is with the use of experiential pedagogy methods in the prevention of risky behaviour. We pursue this goal in the practical part of the thesis. We analyse the results of a questionnaire survey that took place among the prevention methodology of selected Prague schools. Risk behaviour of people who inject drugs following treatment of hepatits C

Background: In Czech Republic, 75-100 % of people newly diagnosed with hepatitis C type (VHC) are people who inject drugs (PWID). Currently, available treatment with direct-acting antiviral medicines without significant adverse side effects is fully covered by insurance. However, there is a risk of reinfection and insurance companies usually don't reimburse further treatment anymore. Aim: The aim of this study is to map and describe the development of risk behaviours in clients of low-threshold treatment programmes of the SEMIRAMIS and Laxus organisations (LSA partners) who have received treatment for hepatitis C. The research focuses on the circumstances of treatment, particularly barriers and supports to entry and the actual course of treatment. The sub-objectives are: to map the socio-economic situation of clients, to approximate patterns of use and to describe contacts with other services. In addition, to reveal the links between these factors and any changes in risk behaviour. Methods: Research was completed by metod of cross-sectional questionnaire surveys. Risk behaviour of pupils at high schools is not yet a widely researched topic in literature. The purpose of this bachelor thesis is therefore to identify, describe and interpret the degree of risk behaviour among pupils in high schools. Accordingly, the main research question is whether and to what extent risk behaviour occurs among high school pupils. First, the theoretical part of this study deals with the issue of risk behaviour, its types, the factors that influence it and the prevention. For the research part, a quantitative approach using a questionnaire was chosen. The respondents of the questionnaire were pupils in their first and second year of high school. In total three high schools were involved in the research investigation, namely the high school in Kuřim, the high school in Brno and the high school in Hustopeče.

Životní dráhy adolescentů s rizikovým chováním

The topic of the bachelor's thesis focuses on the life trajectories of adolescents with risky behaviour, which consists of a theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part, the author addresses the question of why adolescents begin to engage in risky behaviour and details the factors that lead to this behaviour, including family, upbringing, peers and school. Next, the author examines the situation of adolescents with risky behavior in the criminal world and discusses various aspects of criminal careers, including participation, frequency, and length of career. The thesis also includes a chapter on primary prevention in education, and the final section focuses on two studies conducted to examine the impact of family and truancy on the development of risky behavior. The theoretical part used several graphical representations related to research and manifestations of risky behavior. Qualitative research was conducted as part of the bachelor's thesis to determine the influence of socialization factors on the development of risky behavior in adolescents. The research was conducted by interviewing four respondents who had and/or are experiencing risky behaviors.

The topic of the bachelor thesis is the risk behavior of pupils at secondary vocational schools and its prevention. The specific aim of this thesis is to define and describe individual components and forms of risk behavior of pupils at the secondary vocational schools and at the same time to focus on the possibilities of prevention. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part deals with the description of terms related to the main goal of this thesis, such as risk behavior, its forms, addictive behavior and its forms, educational factors and related concepts. The practical part presents an insight into the research of the author of the work, contains the methodology and results of quantitative research focused on the main research question, whether and to what extent addictive behavior occurs at secondary vocational schools.

The bachelor's thesis deals with the topic of risky behaviour and the role of a school prevention methodologist. It describes the risky behaviour occurring in secondary vocational schools and introduces the function of the school prevention methodologist in relation to the school counselling centre. Moreover, it outlines the importance of prevention and prevention programmes to eliminate the risky behaviour. Concurrently, this thesis defines specific types of risk behaviour. The practical part is based on the qualitative research using a semi-structured inter-view method. Three prevention methodologists from secondary vocational schools participated. The results were analysed using an open coding technique involving the categorisation of the data into four groups that serve as the main objects of the research investigation.

This bachelor's thesis deals with risky sexual behaviours among high school students. The main purpose of the thesis is to map this kind of behaviour, to describe the phenomena that can cause it, to name the types of sexually risky behaviour and their impact on a person and overall to bring this issue closer to the reader. The second part of the thesis deals with the actual research of sexually risky behaviour in high school students, using a questionnaire survey. The aim of this research is to find out what types of sexually risky behaviours occur among pupils and what is the motivation behind each behaviour.
