Supplier Evaluation in Terms of Risk Using Fuzzy Logic
Švach, Šimon ; Podešva, Lukáš (referee) ; Janková, Zuzana (advisor)
This thesis focuses on the evaluation of supplier risk using fuzzy logic-based models. Two models for supplier risk assessment have been developed in MS Excel and MATLAB software, which serve as a qualified basis for managerial decisions on supplier selection. Specific case studies were developed from the perspective of Hydraulics Ltd., a company that requires manufacturing services in the field of industrial machining and hydraulic systems. Based on the models, one or more least risky suppliers are selected, and measures are proposed to reduce supplier risk.
The Risk of Supplier Selection Using Fuzzy Logic
Popek, Tomáš ; Podešva, Lukáš (referee) ; Janková, Zuzana (advisor)
This thesis deals with the evaluation of the risk posed to Kofola ČeskoSlovensko a.s. by its label suppliers. The developed decision models use the theory of fuzzy logic and are created in MS Excel and MATLAB. According to the resulting evaluation, the suppliers are divided into predetermined categories that describe how much supplier risk they represent for the company. The results from the two programs are compared and measures are also suggested to improve the quality of the services delivered and therefore reduce the supplier risk.
Use of Fuzzy Logic for Supplier Risk Assessment
Kvasnička, Jan ; Podešva, Lukáš (referee) ; Janková, Zuzana (advisor)
This master ’s thesis deals with the assesment of supplier risk for company TIPO Litomyšl using fuzzy logic. The main part deals with the creation of decision models using MS Excel and MATLAB program environment. Based on the percentage assessment, individual suppliers are divided into four groups, which express the degree of supplier risk. In the last part the results of both models are compared and the best result is determined using the arithmetic mean. At the end, a measure/recommendation is created for each group on how to work with the resulting risk or how to minimize or eliminate the results.
Application for demonstration of sound effects
Frey, Filip ; Rajmic, Pavel (referee) ; Číž, Radim (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the analysis and implementation of phaser, auto-wah, compressor, limiter, expander, tremolo, vibrato and distortion sound effects. The thesis consists of a set of applications that demonstrate the aforementioned sound effects through a graphical user interface in a MATLAB programming environment. The applications guide the user step by step through the process of implementing a particular effect. They allow to freely set and change individual parameters of the effect, whose changes are immediately and clearly visualized. The applications also provide the possibility to play back either original or effect-modified audio signals. The apps are learning environments that allow the user to understand the functionality of a given effect through an interactive experience.
Automatic reading of numbers - real-time measurement of quantities from graphical displays of various instruments with a camera
Bartoš, Daniel ; Králík, Jan (referee) ; Appel, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the process of converting numerical values displayed on graphical displays of measuring instruments without communication interfaces into data usable for subsequent analysis, using a camera and a program described in the implemen- tation section. The theoretical part is dedicated to the research and implementation of operations used in image processing, including morphological operations, in the MATLAB environment. The practical part of the thesis focuses on creating a program for real-time recording of numerical displays using a camera, processing the captured images with operations discussed in the research section, and reading them using the MATLAB OCR function. It also covers the subsequent processing of the read data and their storage during the measurement. This part also includes examples of measuring different types of displays, creating a user interface and application using the Application Compiler tool. The thesis concludes with a section serving as a user guide for the application.
Modern vibrodiagnostics of machines and evaluation of datasets by neural networks
Koníček, Tomáš ; Holoubek, Tomáš (referee) ; Hammer, Miloš (advisor)
This Master‘s thesis focuses on technical diagnostics with an emphasis on vibrodiagnostics of machines and equipment. The aim is to carry out research on vibration monitoring using modern on-line systems and to investigate the possibilities of processing the acquired data files using neural networks. Vibration monitoring from Siemens SIPLUS CMS is analyzed, including a description of individual hardware and software components. The work also focuses on machine diagnostics using a real model equipped with the SIPLUS CMS system in cooperation with the SIMATIC S7-1200 programmable automaton. The obtained data will be transferred via the FTP protocol for further processing in the Matlab program. Neural network models will be designed and used, which will be trained on the measured data. Convolutional neural network model will be used. The results will be evaluated and a conclusion will be drawn.
Stress-deformation analysis of the high voltage transmission tower
Kuběna, Tomáš ; Pokorný, Jan (referee) ; Fuis, Vladimír (advisor)
The thesis deals with the analysis of a high voltage power pole near the village Lešná, whose collapse will cause an outage of the electricity network in the area. The model of the pole was created on the basis of drawings provided by Arpex Moravia s.r.o. The pole is designed as a truss system using the general node method, subjected to the weight of the structure, wind and the weight of live conductors. The analytical calculation is performed in Matlab and then verified by numerical calculation in Ansys Workbench. When the pole is subjected to all previously mentioned loads, the maximum deformation has a magnitude of u_max=18.89 mm, which is mostly affected by the wind action. The resulting safety to elastic limit state is k_MSP=23.95. The pole is operated with sufficient safety and collapse will not occur under normal operating conditions.
Design and development of an educational gaming terminal for mini-games programmed in Matlab
Černý, Petr ; Grepl, Robert (referee) ; Appel, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with creating a device, suitable as a learning module for students learning programming. While creating this thesis a user application was created that is able to handle importing a game programmed by student and running it. The application maintains a database containing a list of users ands uses RFID technology and ISIC cards for identification. For controlling the device a printed circuit board was created that communicates with RFID reader and PC.
Application of Fuzzy Logic for Decision Support in Financial Markets
Malers, Anatolii ; Šuňavcová, Nikola (referee) ; Janková, Zuzana (advisor)
The master‘s thesis deals with the use of fuzzy model in the investment decision on financial markets mainly with SICAV funds. This model is used for easier and faster decision when choosing a suitable investment for investors. The fuzzy model is created on the basis of criteria that are essential for making decision. This model is designed by MS Excel and MathWorks Matlab.
Evaluation of information systems via fuzzy logic
Hubík, Antonín ; Václavík, Lukáš (referee) ; Janková, Zuzana (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with the application of fuzzy logic principles to evaluate properties of an information system. The practical problem being adressed is a facilitation of selection of a new HR/attendance system according to the needs of a specific mediumsized enterprise, using a custom-fitted fuzzy model design to compare available options. The design of the model is based on system requirements determined from a business analysis and is supported by key theory from the field of fuzzy logic and modelling. The proposed model is implemented in MS Excel and MATLAB environments. The implementations are demonstrated by evaluating five system options. Based on the results, one of the options is recommended for further consideration.
