Healthy nutrition in school-age children

The bachelor's thesis on "Healthy nutrition in school-age children" focuses on the eating habits of children at younger and older school age. The aim of the thesis was to find out and map how children of younger and older school age eat and what their eating habits are. In the theoretical part of the thesis, attention is paid to healthy nutrition and healthy lifestyles, and emphasis is placed on the eating habits of children of different ages, with a division into younger school age and older school age. In the empirical part, the objectives, working hypotheses, methodology and organization of the investigation are presented. The results of the actual investigation are presented, followed by comparisons with the results of other studies. The research method was a self-constructed questionnaire distributed to general practitioners for children and adolescents in the Central Bohemia Region and Prague. 81 questionnaires were included in the survey. The results of the self-administered survey were very satisfactory. As an example, 74.07 % of the respondents stated that their children were used to eating breakfast. Skateboarding as a free subculture - history from 1988 to the end of the 90's in Czechia

The goal of the thesis is to provide a detailed description of the history of skateboarding in the Czechoslovakia, i.e., in the Czech Republic from 1988 to the end of the nineties of the twentieth century, using a detailed insight into the environment of this urban community. The foundation of oral history research is the collection of data from recorded interviews, period literature, photographs, or film recordings (VHS). A key factor is the understanding of the life of this specific community from the perspective of the perception of freedom and other subjective feelings against the background of societal changes. The thesis examines the statements of this generation of skateboarders and people associated with this environment, with an overlap into culture, business, and the organization of sports events. Comparison of selected indicators of lifestyle chemistry teachers and health education teachers.

This thesis focuses on the comparison of selected lifestyle indicators of chemistry teachers and health education teachers in primary schools. The selected indicators are, for example, drinking regime, physical activity, education in healthy nutrition, stress management, etc. The theoretical part explains the key terms from the pedagogical field and the selected indicators of healthy lifestyle. The practical part is focused on the comparison of these indicators and the negative or positive influence of teaching the subject on the lifestyle of the selected teachers. A QUAN- qual mixed design is used for this evaluation. The quantitative research was conducted by means of a questionnaire survey. Additional qualitative research was conducted using two interviews. The main target is to compare the lifestyles of health education teachers and chemistry teachers in primary schools using selected indicators. The sub-targets will then be to compare the extent to which the selected educators think they are following the principles of healthy nutrition. Anglicism in the Discourse of Lifestyle Influencers

This bachelor thesis focuses on anglicisms in the discourse of Czech lifestyle influencers. It is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part describes how English language and culture has affected Czech language. It also unveils the phonological, grammatical and word-forming adaptation principles. Finally, it defines the community of online content creators and the lifestyle category. The practical part analyses the collected anglicisms. The main focus is on the used adaptation principles. All of the lexical material has been extracted from recent (i.e. 2023, 2024) YouTube and TikTok posts. A dictionary with every collected anglicism is also included in this thesis.

The educational role of the nurse working in primary care

The thesis focuses on the educational role of the nurse working in primary care. Education is the upbringing and training of an individual, the aim of which is to change their behaviour, attitudes, actions and beliefs. Primary care is comprehensive and coordinated care. It is a set of activities that focus mainly on prevention, health promotion, but also on treatment, therapy and examination. High demands are placed on the primary care nurse in terms of the proper and smooth running of the practice, administration or performance of procedures. The first aim of this thesis was to find out how nurses working in primary care educate and motivate their patients to make lifestyle changes. The second aim was to find out in which areas the nurse most frequently educates. The practical part of the thesis is developed through qualitative research. The research population consists of twelve nurses working in practices of adult general practitioners. The data was collected using a semi-structured interview. The nurses were asked 33 questions that focused on patient education. Based on the interviews and the data collected, the results were open coded into six categories. From the results of the research, it was found that nurses working in primary care do not follow any educational process or have any educational plan, rather they draw from their own experience. It was also found that the nurses do not have enough time for the patient nor a proper educational environment in which to conduct education. According to the results, it was found that nurses most frequently educate patients on issues such as diabetes mellitus, hypertension, obesity, preventive vaccinations, or elevated levels of cholesterol. The current issue, as of the month of March 2024, when the data collection was conducted, was the educational activities of nurses focused on the issue of whooping cough. Based on the findings, a material for a seminar for nurses working in practices of general practitioners was developed. The seminar focuses on the implementation of effective patient education by a nurse working in an adult general practitioner's office.

Passing on the lifestyle in the club Wandering Wind

The thesis deals with describing the transmission of lifestyle within the scout troop Toulavý vítr in České Budějovice. The first part of the thesis describes the movements and organizations to which the troop adheres. The second part introduces the troop Toulavý vítr itself, its history, and present. The third part describes the features of the lifestyle and the way they are transmitted within the troop. The fourth part of the thesis compares the method of transmitting lifestyle within the scouting movement utilizing scout education with the method of transmitting lifestyle withinthe troop Toulavý vítr.

Diploma thesis „Management of personal development“ is focused on the analysis in the management of personal development in the production company ITAB Shop Concept CZ, a.s. focusing on technical-economic workers, and especially to the managers of company. The theoretical part is focused on the fundamental concepts in this area, defining the manager’s personality, his demands, self-management (time and stress management), training and development employees. It also discusses the internal and external factors acting on managerial development, improving performance through mental hygiene, lifestyle and wellbeing. The practical part focuses on the current status of management of personal development and the rules under which the selection process and the choice of development and education. It is focused on finding the requirements for managers and design of a particular solution that is focused to the opportunities for further development company.

This thesis called "Management of Personal Development" is focused on analysis of the personal development management at one unnamed Moravian manufacturing and trade company focused on creative tasks. The theoretical background deals with defining the elementary terms in this area, lifestyle, career management, mental hygiene, successful manager principles, time management, introspection, and problem solving. In the area of creativity, it approaches the topic in itself, its development, creative abilities and attitudes, and shows a connection between creativity and personal development. It also includes several alternative methods of personal development. The practical part deals with the present state of personal development management and creativity in the company, and on the influence of these factors on the company's operation. This thesis also includes several specific solutions which show several ways of company development.
