Reflection of users' satisfaction with the crisis beds for children

This diploma thesis focuses on crisis intervention in children and adolescents. The theoretical part defines information about crisis and crisis in chlidhood, adults and focus on providing crisis intervention. The author is based on the notion that crisis is a natural part of human life and that the resilience and coping of the individual, which is built from childhood, contributes to its management. In the next chapter, autor describes the types of service which offer crisis intervention for children in the Czech republic. The main part is about crisis servises which offer accommodation for children and adults in difficult life situation. This chapter is followed by a practical part. The aim of the research part is to find out the satisfaction of clients with the crisis bed service for adolescents in the House of Přemysla Pittra for children. In 2022, the House was transformed from a facility for children requiring immediate intervention to a social service that provides crisis intervention to adolescents. It is currently the first service of this type in the Czech Republic. The research part includes interviews with the clients of this service, it also analyses the texts written by the adolescents in the "Chronicle". The aim of the work was fulfilled. Streamlining Production Processes in the TCPA Welding Shop

The thesis deals with approaches to improving processes and with application of one to a selected production process. Currently, streamlining processes is of interest to many companies, not only manufacturing ones. The relevance of the topic is also evidenced by the number of publications devoted to this very issue. The aim of the thesis is to propose improvements in manufacturing processes in the welding shop through Jiskuhen activities used in Toyota Peugeot Citroën Automobile Czech s.r.o. The first part of the thesis defines terms related to processes and their management, followed by description of some of the widely used improvement approaches and their basic assumptions. The other part of the thesis focuses on the description of Jishuken activities and their subsequent practical application within the company. The thesis offers concrete proposals for improving processes and also recommendations for the management of these activities. This thesis demonstrates the philosophy of continuous improvement in the company, which serves as a reference point for other companies in the area of streamlining of processes.

Závislost oficiálních fotografii politických představitelů na formě vlád západního světa v letech 1821-2013

I study the role that facial expressions play in determining political ideology. I have collected 20,475 assessments of politicians representing 14 countries. Based on a dataset captured from 1821-2015, our results imply that the facial expressions of politicians do play a significant role in the explanation of their ideology. Controlling for positivism of expressions model confirms this general picture: Democratic regime politicians have a tendency to express positive emotions since they are in principle selling the future. Autocratic regimes are mostly trying to exert fear and the facial expressions of dictators are non-positive. We also find that evaluation of the regime is negatively correlated with TV broadcasting in some countries. Accordingly, we can claim that voting perception and behavior is guided by the pictures and videos which are delivered via television.

The subjekt of this dissertation is The implementation of the concept of social responsibility in selected company. Ponnath ŘEZNIČTÍ MISTŘI s. r. o. based in Sušice, is the company, for which is the concept designed. It is daugther company of Ponnath DIE MEISTER- METZGER Kemnath company. The purpose of this thesis is determination of CSR goals and creation of CSR action plan. These activities can be inspiration for implementation of the concept of CSR in company. The result of thesis is listing of proposals of which can company choose, if it decided to by a social responsible company.

What is the price of reputation in Czech Republic?

In my thesis I observe the effect of reputation on the final price of the product through internet auction portal AUKRO.cz. With 140 finished auctions through the "matching method" I observed that higher rated seller gain an average price premium of 16% over a seller with lower reputation, in the condition when the sellers offered almost similar products. The research also exerts effort to describe people's behaviour and incentives according to particular condition including the reputation. By examining the positive dependence between reputation and price premium, this work highlights the need to build up and hold the high reputation score.
