Establishment of cardiological outpatients department (business plan)

The presented master's work deals with writing a business plan in the sector of health. It is a case of a business strategy on the basis of which the department of cardiology will be established as detached premises of Hospital Havlíčkův Brod, by means of which the hospital will extend its services for the sick. The theoretical part describes a concept of strategic management, that I used in my work. Further on it determines the term outpatient's cardiological care, and concentrates on the present situation in cardiology in the Czech Republic. Next chapters gradually focus on the hospital profile and its present positions with a follow-up strategic analysis. The found out conclusions of the analysis served for creating a draft of the business plan for establishing an outpatient's department of cardiology, that will provide with specialized care for the sick suffering from cardiacvascular disorders outside the district catchment area of the hospital.
Optimization of personal costs in context with the optimization of personel procuration at the change of an entrepreneur of a dialysis centre

The submitted theses deals with a process of optimization of personal costs connected with a change of an entrepreneur of a dialysis centre. Specifically it deals with creation of a proposal and an accomplishment of changes which relate directly with the said proposal and which will be introduced into practice. The first theoretical part deals with a concept of strategic planning, from which management of human resources arises and which defines a theroretical frame of human resources management in the organization. Next part describes the initial state at the change of an entrepreneur of a dialysis centre and analysis of personel procuration that is needed for the dialysis centre operation. The outcome of this work is a proposal on an optimization of an organization of a schedule of patients'shifts and saving of personal costs resulting from this. Teamwork at psychosomatic clinics in Bavaria: an inspiration to develop management in psychosomatic medicine in the Czech Republic

This thesis is focused on the organization of interdisciplinary teamwork in the field of psychosomatic medicine at specialized clinics in Bavaria. The main objective is to describe the system of organization and management of local teams and principles that constitute the teamwork in the psychosomatic field. The paper consists of two parts, theoretical and empirical. The theoretical part deals with team and teamwork defintion, as well as its characteristics in health care and in multidisciplinary (interdisciplinary) teams with regard to the specifics of their management. Multidisciplinary teams and interprofessional cooperation is discussed in relation to the field of psychosomatic medicine. A summary of the current basis of psychosomatic medicine in the context of medical education, legislation and the health care system in the Federal Republic of Germany and the Czech Republic follows. The system of the field of psychosomatic medicine in Germany is one of the main reasons why the empirical part is focused on the German environment of psychosomatic practice. Negotiations of sales representatives of pharmaceutical companies in the eyes of pharmaceutical assistants.

Ethical behavior is an inseparable part of business life and can have a major impact on corporate culture in business companies and their communication with clients. The aim of this work was to find out how the behavior of sales representatives of pharmaceutical companies in pharmaceutical pharmacies is perceived, to describe the ethical aspects in this field, and then to propose recommendations for adjusting internal rules, values or ethical code in a selected pharmaceutical company. This task was accomplished by carrying out qualitative research to analyze and deeper describe how pharmaceutical assistants in pharmacies perceive the behavior of sales representatives of pharmaceutical companies. In order to eliminate the identified circumstances in this field, the proposed recommendation for the selected company is a thorough knowledge of ethical principles and the incorporation of techniques into the training program of the company that focus on empathy is proposed. In conclusion, adherence to ethical principles and the right corporate culture in the company can be considered crucial in the context of successful cooperation between the sales representative and the pharmacy.
Change Management in the Process of Expansion of the Scope of Prenatal Educational Courses Offered by the Thomayerova Hospital in Prague

In my thesis I deal with the topic relating to prenatal preparation of women and men in the Thomayer Hospital in Prague. The thesis is divided into theoretical and empirical part. In the theoretical part I deal with education in the prenatal preparation. Importance of education as such is characterized there, thus education not only in the prenatal preparation but also in other branches of medicine. It is one of basic elements to improve quality of health care in the Czech Republic. This part of the thesis also provides possibilities of prenatal preparation in the Czech Republic. It describes several topics of the classes of the "psychoprophylactic preparation". Change management is another topic of my thesis since it is just the change that results in quality improvement. Quality improvement was endeavored for also at innovation of the prenatal preparation in the Thomayer Hospital. Last chapter of the theoretical part is marketing in health care. This chapter describes several definitions, under individual authors. This part deals among others also with marketing of health services and medical supplies, marketing mix and marketing communication. Business Plan for Privat Practice

My graduation theses deal with the role of a midwife in providing health care. All necessities for establishing a private practice are discussed. The private practice should provide educational and advisory activities during pregnancy, confinement and care for newborn babies. The goal of my theses is to show the possibilities of establishing a private practice on the basis of a prepared business plan. The theoretical part deals with the role of a midwife in providing health care. Analyses and individual prerequisites for the implementation of an entrepreneurial intention are presented. The practical part is divided into two parts - an analytical part and business plan itself. The enterprise surroundings has been analyzed resulting in a SWOT analysis. On the basis of these analyses a business plan has been made, the structure of which is defined in the theoretical part. The main items of the business plan are: a marketing mix with all necessary steps to raise the demand for offered services and a financial analysis with investment and cost specifications. The main gain of my theses is the formulation of a comprehensive business plan for an entrepreneurial intention of a non-medical worker in health care.

This master thesis presents the field of Occupational Therapy within rehabilitation care and points out the possibilities of its use in follow-up care and field outpatient practice. The thesis aims at the elaboration of a business plan for establishing an Occupational Therapy private practice, which would provide Occupational Therapy service and rehabilitation for people with lasting functional deficit in their own social environment or in an Occupational Therapy outpatient department. The theoretic part focuses on the theoretic basis of business, requirements for establishing of a private practice and concept of strategic management and analysis. It continues with the structure of business plan and presents the field of Occupational Therapy, its history, actual situation and position within the comprehensive care. Submitted diploma thesis deals with the topic of Marketing in Occupational Therapy. The work is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is focused on two main areas - Marketing and Occupational Therapy. The first part is focused on the familiarization with this field. The second part is devoted to marketing, where its general level to specific characteristic rising from the health care are described. The practical part offers the introduction of Children's Rehabilitation Centre Lentilka, where the questionnaire research based on the charting of satisfaction and evaluation of the occupational therapy service by parents of the occupational therapy clients took place. There was also conducted the quantitative study in the form of questionnaire research among doctors of specific specialism working in the region of Pardubice. This questionnaire research among doctors was concentrated on the charting of the foreknowledge in the occupational therapy field and its possibilities. Crisis management in a healthcare organization

This project deals with handling of a personal crisis in a health organisation, caused by influence of independent, foreign causation. The first theoretical part of my project presents the nursery and qualifies the quality of the nursing service. The system of employee's care is also a process of a change. I present here among other things also a process of a change. In detail I describe an entity management in the stage of crisis, the identification of the crisis cause and reason and consequently the following solution and remedy actions to decrease the negative impacts of such a crisis for the respective entity and environment. The second part of my project is the practical one and describes the crisis development and the way how to dodge the impact of this event on the health service level in the Benešov - Hospital during a time space aof one year. I decided to present here also the indicators announcing the origin of a crisis and consequently the way, how to handle and master such a situation by the management of the entity. One part of this project is also the recommendation for other management, where its or their entity (entities) suffered a similar crisis.

This thesis introduces the current state health of the population of the Czech Republic, addressing mainly the steep increase in diseases of civilization. Diseases which are mainly the result of an inappropriate lifestyle. The aim of this work is the development of a business plan leading to the establishment of a company that will provide services in the field of nutrition counseling, physiotherapy, regeneration and physical activities. The theoretical part of this work defines the basic concepts and assumptions which are the building blocks of this thesis. Specifically, the tools for strategic management and business plan requirements. Furthermore, the theoretical part defines concepts such as health and a healthy lifestyle. The practical part of this thesis includes a research and analysis section which form the basis for the creation of the business plan. Methodologically, quantitative research was applied. A technically structured questionnaire was used to gain the required data. The analytical part then goes on to include an analysis of the general and business environments, or, to be precise, of the internal environment.
