Information policy of the digital Czech Republic

The thesis deals with the computerization of public administration and self-government of the Czech Republic, specifically the Government Program of Digitization of the Czech Republic 2018+ (October 2018). The thesis will analyze a summary of concepts that will gradually provide for the technological development of the Czech Republic in the field of economic digitization and in the society of ongoing digital changes. The technological development of digitization will gradually enter all areas of life. Furthermore, three key pillars (partial concepts/strategies), which together form one logical unit with a large number of internal links, but at the same time focus on different beneficiaries in their internal composition and also on the differences given by the current legislative definition: 1. Czechia in Digital Europe; 2. Information Concept of the Czech Republic 2022; 3. Concept: Digital economy and society. The aim of the thesis is to define basic terms, the historical development of digitization in the Czech Republic, the analysis of the current state of the digitization process of the Czech Republic and the comparison between individual years. The bachelor's thesis is focused on the file and archive service run at the municipal office in Libčice nad Vltavou, where I am employed, so in the practical part I can describe some steps from my own experience and compare them with validlegislation.The teoretical part of the work is focused on the history of the file service and its management, on legislative requirements, especially in connection with the efforts to digitize state administration. Digitalization process in the Czech Republic and Citizen Portal

The aim of the thesis is to approach the issue of eGovernment, the current services of the Citizen Portal and the reflation of attitudes of citizens towards the digitization of public administration. The introductory chapters will be devoted to the development of eGovernment in the Czech Republic, comparison with some states of the European Union, comparison of the current state with the originally intended plan, criticism, and disadvantages of digitalization of offices. Furthermore, the functions of the Citizen Portal, the previous state, user suggestions and possible future modifications will be analyzed. In the practical part, we will encounter research dealing with the use of electronic forms, services of the Citizen Portal and their possible expansion, the use of data boxes, and trust in the provision of information by citizens. The interdependence between offices and the work of public administration employees will also be mentioned here. The conclusion will be devoted to a summary of the knowledge presented, a critique of the current state, a proposal for a possible solution and suggestions for further research. E-government in the Czech legal office environment

This thesis deals with the electronization in a specific private entity, namely in the Prague office of an international law firm. Electronic administration is a concept that resonates in society and concerns mainly public administration bodies, but nowadays it does not avoid private entities either. Most private companies today probably already work with electronic systems that help them in their daily activities. The theoretical part of the thesis will map the concepts of e-government within the European Union and the development in the Czech Republic since 1989, ending with the current situation. It will not fail to mention all the important legal norms that were gradually adopted and on the basis of which an electronically friendly public administration started to emerge for citizens. However, electronisation is also taking place within organisations, and the most significant shift is the performance of the records management in electronic systems designed for this purpose. The practical part of the thesis will introduce the electronic system for managing client documents and the procedures that the law firm has established for working with paper documents. File service in non-profit organizations focused on private education

The diploma thesis will be divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part should briefly present the history, development and current legislative framework of private education and non-profit organizations that may be its provider. The practical part will focus on the analysis of the circulation of documents of a particular community school, run by a non-profit organization. The school will be anonymized for the needs of this work. The aim of the work should be to evaluate whether for a school, such a small scale and specific operation, which is not subject to the obligation to keep a file service, could be beneficial to keep a file service according to the provisions of Act No. 499/2004 SB. and Decree No. 259/2012 Coll. The diploma thesis will include a draft file and shredding rules for the organization in paper form.

Current issues of the records management on the example of health insurance companies

Submitted thesis introduces some problems related to the records management at public creators, in this case three occupational health insurance companies. The thesis divides into three main parts. The first part outlines history of sickness and health insurance on our territory, including the brief history of selected health insurance companies. The second part describes current state of legislature in the area of health insurance and records management. The last part focuses on specific phases of records management at observed subjects.
Social security in the Czech Republic with an emphasis on state social support

The diploma thesis deals with the issue of social security in the Czech Republic with a focus on the system of state social support with the goal of analysing individual pillars of social security and further individual benefits (parental allowance, child allowance, maternity allowance, housing allowance, funeral allowance and substitute maintenance) paid through state social support, with which the state supports families with children and other citizens whose incomes are insufficient to pay all living expenses. As foster care benefits are also paid out through state social support, they also have their place here for the integrity of this system. Social administration is an exceptionally dynamic area that directly responds to social issues in society, thus this work compares the legislative changes that took place in the past years and that substantially affected the payment of state social support benefits and foster care. The key objective of this diploma thesis is to provide a comprehensive view of social security in the Czech Republic with a closer focus on state social support as one of the pillars of the social security system in the Czech Republic. Audit and Certification of digital repositories within archival science

The aim of this bachelor thesis is primarly to describe audit and certification tools for long-term digital data repositories which can be used in archiving. The first part describes European Framework for Audit and Certification of Digital Repositories (certification based on Core Trust Seal, German nestor Seal and ISO 16363). The second part deals with accreditation of digital archives which is embedded in Czech legislation. In the third part, the author names some specifics of archiving in the field of audit and certification tools for long-term digital data preservation and he deals with appropriatness of such tools.
The storing of digital documents

The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to acquaint the readers with the process of storing digital documents as part of the records management. In the beginning of the work, I will deal with the basic terms in the records management and the life cycle of a digital document, where I will also explain the legislation that regulates this proces. I will also present electronic recods management systems for managing digital documents. I will also explain here the proces of authorized conversion and the functioning of data boxes. Here I will follow up on the important role of digital documents and their storage in the functioning of e-Goverment.
