Pupils with the learning disability and their integration
Řeháková, Lenka ; Linková, Marie (advisor) ; Blažková, Veronika (referee)
In this thesis I would like to deal with the issue, which is in my opinion, still current. The number of children with learning disabilities has been growing constantly and working with them has been getting more and more demanding. The correct diagnosis of learning disabilities is very important for a child and involves the participation of the pedagogical-psychological counselling institution. The correct educational approach in an ordinary class at primary school is also important to these students. It's the teacher who finally makes the individual educational year plan and suggests different ways of re-education. Key words specific learning disabilities integration reeducation child/pupil with the special educational needs individual education plan
Supervision of a probation officer over criminal irresponsible children
Řeháková, Lenka ; Válková, Helena (advisor) ; Tomko, Anton (referee)
Diploma thesis "Supervision of a probation officer over criminal irresponsible children" deals with juvenile delinquency, juvenile justice law adaptation for criminal responsible children younger 15 years of age and concerns with the ways by which society can react to the juvenile delinquency according to valid law adaptation. In its theoretical part this thesis focuses on definition of the keywords such are 'child', 'age limits of criminal responsibility', 'delinquency'. Thesis includes also description of juvenile delinquency as such where the law adaptation related to this issue is taken into consideration as well as the discipline precautions which can be ordered by court of law as a reaction to the unlawful behaviour. The goal of the practical part is to map the obstacles which discourage effective usage of discipline precautions supervision of a probation Office and suggest possible solving. The analytical part of the thesis was realised by two techniques, namely, questioning technique and document analysis.
Pupil with special educational needs in the second primary school
Řeháková, Lenka ; Blažková, Veronika (advisor) ; Linková, Marie (referee)
This work deals with the problem, which is in my opinion becoming a hot issue. The number of children that get special needs education, is constantly increasing. The school in which they are educated, either draws up an individual educational plan (IEP below), or simply tolerates their work. It means these pupils are educated without an IEP, but the school and the teacher are aware of their special needs. It is not only the increasing number of pupils with learning disabilities and ADHD, but also with Asperger syndrome, speech disorders, physical disabilities, diabetes or epilepsy, and others. Depending on their problem also the amount of work with them is increasing. Firstly both the correct diagnosis and the setting of friendly educative environment are necessary. The work includes theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part clarifies the specific learning disorders, Asperger syndrome and developmental dysphasia. The practical part focuses on the work of pupils with specific learning disabilities, Asperger's syndrome and developmental dysphasia. The aim of this thesis is whilst using the method of interviewing and observing how the integrated education of pupils with special educational needs is proceeded at the second grade at different elementary schools. I'm interested in the way how...
Modulation of locomotor activity and spatial behavior by D1-like and D2-like receptor antagonists
Řeháková, Lenka
Dopamin is one of neurotransmitters of the mammal brain that plays an important role in many functions of the central nervous system. It participates in a control of motoric functions, processes of motivation and reward and cognitive functions. A disorder of the dopaminergic system plays a role in pathophysiology of many brain diseases, for example shizophrenia, extrapyramidal and dependency diseases. Research of behavior especially space orientation is a common used access to study the nervous system and a whole organism. Some kinds of space behavior are consider as a model of higher nervous functions in humans. In this graduation thesis I focused on testing of the influence of a system blockade of dopaminergic D1-like and D2-like receptors by specific antagonists over rats' behavior in an active allothetic place avoidance (AAPA) and in a Morris water maze (MWM). Antagonists of dopaminergic receptors (a D1-like antagonist SCH23390 and a D2-like antagonist sulpiride) were administered before behavior testing and then it was analysed. Results revealed that antagonists of dopaminergic receptors affect changes in behavior and locomotion. These changes differed by the type of the task and the antagonist. SCH23390 impairs spatial orientation in both doses (0,02 and 0,05 mg/kg) in AAPA. In MWM the higher...

Romany child in a preschool education
ŘEHÁKOVÁ, Lenka
The aim of bachelor thesis is to facilitate the progress of implementation of compulsory pre-school attendance of Roma children by providing theoretical information and relevant data for pre-school teachers. The work also provides stories of good practice, which are mainly implemented thanks to cooperation between kindergarten and staff in non-profit institution. The theoretical part focuses on the description of the current state of pre-school education of Roma children and some characteristics of the Roma, especially in connection with their education. The practical part defines two research objectives that build on each other. The first objective is to identify the reasons that lead Roma parents to take their children away from kindergarten. The second objective is to uncover possibilities that will first lead to the adaptation of a child in kindergarten and then to the remaining of the child there. Qualitative research was used to achieve the objectives of the research. There were used case studies as the research method and interview and observation as the research techniques. The research revealed either the well-known reasons, which are associated with low attendance of Roma children in kindergartens, such as financial reasons and mistrust of Roma parents, but also specific factors such as requirements of the kindergarten that the family cannot achieve or no respect for sibling relationships in the kindergarten. As emerged from the research, the factors, which positively affect the admission of Roma child to kindergarten, were mainly activities undertaken by pre-school clubs. Therefore the thesis recommends to promote cooperation among kindergartens and pre-school clubs, non-profit and government institutions, the Department of Social Affairs and Department of Education, as their cooperation could facilitate pre-school education for Roma children.
