This bachelor work is concerned with graffiti and street art. It is focused on these phenomenons, what they are for us, why they appeal and how they influence our culture in the space of graphic design, illustration and the other way around. I try to create my own street art and place it in public space, I show on example of my illustrated book how much I am influenced mysem.

Nachlingerová, J.: Illustration in Czech children's books. Animal's picture /Thesis/ Praha 2010 Charles university, Pedagogical faculty, department of art, number of pages 65 The illustrations in Czech book for children with concentration to picture of animal in illustration and literary texts create main subject of this Thesis. The work finds out various methods of animal illustrations within general illustrator approaches, it gets around of selected principal representatives of the Czech illustration. It looks at current production of books for children in their positive and negative aspects, it follows the efforts to look after the "belles-lettres" as well as unvalued production connected with irresponsibility towards the children's readers. It maps, on the background of magnificent books about animals, the current illustrators trying to present creatively ambitious illustration. Discoursive space between gallery and school

This study examines the function of art education at the level of selected European and Czech national documents, at the level of Prague 1 galleries and museums that offer education programmes for school groups at the level of the individual education employees of museums, galleries and of primary graphic and plastic art school in Prague 1. The content of the thesis is based on data collected and analyzed using grounded theory of the qualitative research. The research data pass through the entire text and show the links between themselves and connections with theoretical texts. The text of the thesis is divided into two parts. The first one is focused on theoretical and research findings. Here are the resources of the whole work contained, statements about art and education from the perspective of different discourses, creation of gallery and museum education, creation of gallery and museum education, the current trends in the gallery and museum education, position of gallery and museum educators, the competency of educators, the methodology, research results and evaluation of research probe. The second part deals with didactic processing of the exhibition so called "Po sametu" (After Velvet). There is described the preparation, execution and reflection of the gallery education work. Alphabets, contents and the time. Visual communication

The theme of the diploma dissertation became a view of a field of alphabets (letters and types) in contexts of communication, history, art and education. The theoretical part is focused on historical, contemporary movements of the phenomenon all at once. Inclusive of reflecting on alphabets in art and also links to a medial communication. The second part of the diploma dissertation reacts to the strongest and the most inspiring moments. It focuses on a practical applications for art lessons. The third part [artistic] takes advantage of media knowledges and art lessons. They are interfaced into an interactive teaching material which challenges students to an active perception of visual culture.

Námětem mé diplomové práce je jednotný vizuální styl (podobor grafického designu). Diplomová práce se skládá ze tří částí - teoretické, didaktické a praktické. Teoretická část popisuje téma jednotného vizuálního stylu z hlediska historického vývoje, jeho uplatnění a postavení, především u nás v České Republice. Didaktická část navazuje výtvarnými řadami určenými pro žáky 2. stupně ZŠ. Praktická část je popisem mé výtvarné práce vycházející z tématu jednotného vizuálního stylu. Přínosem i cílem této diplomové práce, bylo objasnit problematiku jednotného vizuálního stylu jako součást komplexní komunikace značky a podnítit u dětí zájem o téma grafického designu za využití různých výtvarných technik.

The thesis examines the history and present of scientific illustration development. It deals with possible technical methods in relation between scientific illustration and reality. The contribution of scientific illustration to the protection of the environment and ecology. This creative series on this theme is elaborated in the didactic part of the thesis. The creative part describes my personal and creative approach to this subject. The objective of my thesis work is to create a complete study in the area of scientific illustration with objective and subjective insights.

Nature and natural detail

This thesis reflects the usage of the theme in visual art with the emphasis on art of the 20th century till nowadays. In the theoretical part, the thesis deals with natural subjects including natural details as an inspiration of free art creation. Its attention goes in for the issue of simplification, stylization and abstraction of natural subject and also for the issue of scientific photography motivation. The visual part contains the own author's work with the theme of nature and the natural detail. This work of art is worked up in linocut technique. Final part of the thesis suggests possibilities how to use this subject matter in art at the primary schools.
