Design of cartridge spindle for milling machines
Burian, Viktor ; Vetiška, Jan (referee) ; Pavlík, Jan (advisor)
This master´s thesis deals with the design of a cartridge spindle for milling machines. The aim of the work is to design a spindle with a power of 15 kW, which allows the automatic exchange of tools with ISO interface. In the beginning, the thesis deals with the description of the individual components related to the construction of machine tools spindle. A spindle design concept is chosen, for which a number of calculations were made concerning the structure itself. Based on the proposed design, a 3D model and drawing documentation were made.
Design of a simulation model of the machine tool for determining the energy consumption
Vespalec, Tomáš ; Hadaš, Zdeněk (referee) ; Vetiška, Jan (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with a design of the simulation model of a CNC machine tool for determining the energy consumption. It describes a design of the mechanical and the electrical model of the CNC machine and a design of the energy consumption algorithm. The result of that thesis is a size of the consummated energy during a machining process.
Digital commissioning of a robotic production system for parts assembly
Onderka, Tomáš ; Blecha, Radim (referee) ; Vetiška, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with digital commissionig of a robotic production system for parts assembly. The issue of digital commissioning is described in the theoretical part of the thesis, followed by a safety of the workplace and description of used grippers. Parts assembly, large series and small series approaches are described in the practical part of the thesis. For digital commissioning was used ABB RobotStudio and small series workplace was commissioned.
Software for processing data from the accelerometer
Zahradník, David ; Vetiška, Jan (referee) ; Kovář, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with the creation of software for statistical processing of data from the accelerometer. In the first part are specify the objectives. The next part of the thesis is followed by design and creation software for statistical processing of data in real-time as well as post-processing mod. Final program is tested by using stored data from the accelerometer. At the end the functionality of the created software is evaluated. This program is created by using the programming language C #.
Virtual commissioning of robotized workplace for cold spraying
Miklis, Peter ; Holub, Michal (referee) ; Vetiška, Jan (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the virtual commissioning of robotized workplace for cold spraying. The theoretical part of the thesis contains an overview of the current state of knowledge in the field of virtual commissioning, the theory of crating HMI user environments, deals principles of the Rapid programming language as a tool for controlling industrial robots and analysis of robotic workplace components. The practical part defines the structure of the proposed user program and user environment, which are created using software tools Robotstudio and Screenmaker. The last part discusses in detail the steps during the implementation of the created program together with the HMI into commission, which is associated with the testing of functionalities on a real device for cold spraying. The diploma thesis also includes a user manual created for operating an industrial robot.
Design of welding cell
Šuba, Marek ; Kočiš, Petr (referee) ; Vetiška, Jan (advisor)
The topic of this bachelor's thesis is the design of a robotic cell for spot resistence welding of sheet metal parts. The base of this thesis will be the research of industrial robots, spot welding guns, welding fixtures, robot grippers, sensors and safety precautions used in such robotic cells. Second part of the thesis contains few concepts regarding the robotic cell itself and the choice of the best one for the situation at hand. Third part of the thesis contains the choice of welding guns, construction of the welding fixtures and possibly even robot grippers for the given metal sheet parts. In the last part of the thesis comes the simulation of the welding process in RobotStudio (software from ABB), check whether the robotic cell meets the requested production time needed and a final assessment of the results.
Design of digital twinn of CNC machine tool
Staněk, Václav ; Vetiška, Jan (referee) ; Holub, Michal (advisor)
The Master’s thesis deals with design of digital twins of machine tools and application of designed procedure on a case study – digital twin of the machine tool MCV 754 Quick. In the first part are described current roles of digital twins in the field of machine tools and also hardware and software options for creating them. Software and hardware tools by Siemens (Mechatronics Concept Designer and SIMIT) are used for the case study. The complex procedure of creating the digital twin is designed in the second part, starting with preparation of a model, ending with the virtual commissioning of the machine tool MCV 754 Quick. The procedure is described in detail, including preparation of 3D model of the machine tool, assignment of physical properties and joints, preparation of PLC, connection all the elements of the whole system: Sinumerik – SIMIT – Mechatronics Concept Designer and controlling the twin via CNC automation system. Output of the thesis is the virtually commissioned machine tool, capable of being controlled by Sinumerik 840D sl. This is the first step in development of the full-fledged digital twin of machine tool, which can be used for testing the functionality and capability of this new technology in industry.
Design and digital commissioning of the bag handling gripper
Vávra, Daniel ; Pavlík, Jan (referee) ; Vetiška, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor‘s thesis deals with a conceptual design of a handling gripper for 25-kilo bags and its subsequent digital commissioning. The theoretical part explains the issue with end effectors for handling, including introduction of specific concepts of bag handling grippers by chosen companies. There is also a problematic of virtual commissioning mentioned in the end of the theoretical part. The practical part deals with the conceptual design of the gripper itself, which is then substantiated by needed strength and kinematic analysis in a calculation report. The main advantage of designed solution is, apart from high moving speed, pallet gripping mechanism, due to which the gripper is able to prepare pallets for subsequent bag palletization automatically. In the end, the chosen conceptual solution is digitally commissioned in ABB Robot Studio program, along with creating a simulation of gripper moves.
Design of automatic exchange of spindle heads
Srněnský, Jan ; Vetiška, Jan (referee) ; Pavlík, Jan (advisor)
The purpose of this thesis is to design system for automatic exchange of spindle heads shared by several machines. Spindle heads are transported between these machines and placed to the position for exchange. The system also allows storing of heads. Requirements for system are load capacity of 2 000 kg and placing a spindle head to the exchange position with precision of ± 0,02 mm. The thesis consists of three parts. The first part involves search of head exchange principles and shows possible ways to transport heads and other elements that could be used in the system. In the next part are several possible solutions introduced and the selection of the best one is made. The last part contains the design of the chosen solution, visualisation, description and calculations. The result is design of two solutions which are described in this work.
Trends in safety systems of robotic workplaces
Zagorská, Kateřina ; Blecha, Radim (referee) ; Vetiška, Jan (advisor)
The bachelor thesis is focused on the issue of safety of robotized workplaces. The aim was to get acquainted with current legislation and certain standards that are needed for the appropriate construction and handling of machines. Furthermore, it summarizes security systems used today in form of a research and deals with security trends that could replace these systems in the future.
