Influence of the Valve Train Flexibility to the Single Valve Motion
Řehůřek, Lukáš ; Novotný, Pavel (referee) ; Drápal, Lubomír (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is a comparing single valve train motion (SVT) and complete valve train motion with a flexible camshaft focused on dynamic characteristics. In this thesis is also performed kinematics analysis in the VALKIN software. Dynamic analysis is solved in the MBS software Virtual Engine. Influences to the valve train motion are described in the conclusion
Design of Turbocharger Bearing for Low Viscosity Oils
Plánka, Jakub ; Dlugoš, Jozef (referee) ; Novotný, Pavel (advisor)
The first part of the thesis describes journal bearings characteristics, their function and lubrication. The second part of the thesis is about a rotor-dynamics issue and how to use numerical and experimental methods for verification of a new bearing design. The practical part of the thesis is focused on analyse a current design of bearings in MBS. In the last part has been made and verified a new bearing design.
Creation of maps and plans for use in sports and leisure - Yachting
NOVOTNÝ, Petr
In this thesis there is closely described the creation of tourist and yachting maps using the Czech largest water dam Lipno and a small Croatian region in the Adriatic Sea as an example. The thesis also referes the usage of mapping and cartography for jachting and tourism. Methodics of this thesis was taken from cartographic principles and yachting and tourist methods. Introductory chapters provide elemental information about yachting, and the development of navy maps. Important part is the analysis of yachting maps and their usage with other yachting tools. At the end of the thesis there is the comparison of Czech and navy maps used for yachting, their appraisal and a discussion with some suggestions for the improvement of these maps. The graphical part and photographs are listed in yachting methodics and in attachments.
Determination of Hydrogen Mixture Influence on Internal Combustion Engine
Roušar, Jiří ; Dlugoš, Jozef (referee) ; Novotný, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of the Bachelor thesis is comparing a hydrogen combustion engine with conventional combustion engines and comparing the advantages and disadvantages of the hydrogen combustion engine. The features of hydrogen are introduced, as well as its production, transportation and storage. The work contains a research of construction designs of a conventional engine modifications to the hydrogen engine. The realisation of technically possible modifications to the conventional engine is included in the thesis.
Slide Bearings for High Pressure Pump
Novotný, Marek ; Petr, Jiří (referee) ; Novotný, Pavel (advisor)
The goal of this diploma thesis is to design the journal bearings for high pressure diesel pump which is part of Common rail system from Motorpal Company. This producer is also submitter of this diploma thesis and as a result it is expecting the reduction of cost price and possible transfer to the diesel oil lubrication. Firstly, there is sum up of issues of high pressure pump by Motorpal. The next part of the thesis describes the journal bearings and its construction, tribology of the journal bearings and also the overview of the materials. These materials are currently being used for securing long time usage and do not require service maintenance during lifespan period. In the practical part there is applied the Multy Body System (MBS) approach with rigid bodies and after that there are used analytic relations, which however do not include impact of movement of the journal center during dynamic stress. The thesis concludes with a comparison of results of both calculations and determination of bearing parameters, which according to the calculations ensure an achievement of hydrodynamic lubrication.
Tractor Internal Acoustics
Hora, Otakar ; Zubík, Martin (referee) ; Novotný, Pavel (advisor)
The diploma thesis focuses on the analysis of the internal acoustics of a tractor using the finite element method. The thesis also contains the analysis of excitation effects from individual sources of vibrations and evaluating the response in the internal acoustic chamber with special focus on the driver’s head. The conclusion should suggest appropriate structural modifications to reduce interior noise.
Music Creation Using Cellular Automata
Novotný, Pavel ; Martinek, David (referee) ; Peringer, Petr (advisor)
In this thesis the cellular automata are used for algorithmic music composition. It contains a general overview of the algorithmic composition method and cellular automata. The crucial part of the thesis describes the concept and implementation of the program with a graphical user interface which uses two simple methods for conversion cellular automata's states into music. The final program was tested on several cellular automata and the sound outputs of both methods were compared with each other. The program is useful especially for the creation of short melodies.
Web Services Security for a Service Consumer
Novotný, Petr ; Weiss, Petr (referee) ; Rychlý, Marek (advisor)
The objective of this project was to introduce to a reader different possibilities of a web security and its authentication. Another part of this project was to create a client application communicates with the web service. The client part should at the some time serve the web services developer for checking chosen web securities.
Advanced Methods for the Solution of Journal Bearing Dynamics
Maršálek, Ondřej ; Louda,, Petr (referee) ; Furch, Jan (referee) ; Novotný, Pavel (advisor)
Náplní této disertační práce je popis komplexní a obecně použitelné strategie výpočetního modelování chování kluzných ložisek, pracujících v režimu smíšeného mazání a uvažujících reálné struktury drsných povrchů obou členů kluzných ložisek – ložiskových pánví a ložiskových čepů.
