Information System Assessment and Proposal for ICT Modification

The diploma thesis focuses on assessment of the information system and possible proposals for ICT modification. The first part of the thesis is focused on theoretical background, which is needed to clarify basic concepts and methods used during the analysis and solution proposal. In the second part is realized analysis of company with emphasis on parts of information system. Based on findings from analytical part are proposed possibilities and ways how to achieve improvements of company information system compared to current conditions.

Diploma thesis deals with design and implementation of manufacturing technology of a part which was given by company Frentech Aerospace s.r.o. Manufacturing technology is prepared for conditions of workshop of Department of Machining FME Brno UT (laboratory C2). Acquired knowledges are used for design of innovative manufacturing technology with cutting tools from company Pramet Tools, s.r.o. Manufacturing technologies of gained part are designed for alloy blank EN AW 6082. Technical-economical assessment of all manufacturing technologies is part of this thesis. Both of manufacturing technologies designed for laboratory C2 are assessed together and manufacturing technology given by company Frentech Aerospace s.r.o. is assessed alone due to using different blank material.

My diploma thesis concerns assessment of the company's information system and the following proposal of amendments. Theoretical part comprises a complex summary of the essential problems related to information systems terminology. In the analytical part, the company is assessed with the analytical methods for detecting the current state. The proposed part of the solution systematically comes out of the analytical part and this section`s main objective is a proposal of innovative information system that will bring higher added value to the company and subsequent economic evaluation of this information system.

The topic of this diploma thesis is an analysis and selection of the new information and point of sale system for groceries divisions of the Inva Group a.s. company. First part of this thesis focuses on analysis of the current IT conditions in the company and on drawing up the requirements for the selection of the information system itself, based on the analysis of the company’s business processes. The second part will be focused on market analysis, and will present different options for information and POS systems and depending on the chosen IS, the timeline and the financial plan of the implementation itself will be created at the end.

Information System Selection

This thesis deals with the selection of the optimal information system in the company KSK Bono s. r. o. The theoretical part in more detail specifies the information system as a whole. Analytical section specifically describes and analyzes the current information system of the company and the company's strategy. Solution suggestions describe what requirements should comply with the new system and what are its future benefits. Part of this work is also the implementation plan, costing, risk analysis and the possibility of their elimination.
