The Czech Vienna as a part of the specific interliterary community?

The article deals with the problematic of the literary production of Czech Viennese literati as a specific literary phenomenon. The author attempts, on the basis of the theoretical standpoints of the international project led by D. Ďurišin (Specific Interliterary Communities I-VI, Bratislava 1987-1993), to define the literary specifics of the works published in Vienna as well as, for the need of the article, about Vienna by local authors in Czech.

Optimization of Algae Population Growth Using Markov Chains and

The thesis deals with the task of refining the constructional and operational parameters of a tubular photobioreactor in order to maximise the growth rate of algae contained in the cultivation suspension. It builds on a basic growth model of the Porhydrium sp. alga, and focuses on the optimization of external irradiance, which is one of the key determinants of algae growth. Two distinct methodological approaches are applied: analytic approach, which employs Markov Chains, and simulation approach, which relies on agent-based simulations. In the analytic part, we introduce the construction of state transition matrix for a Markov Chain that accounts for varying irradiance inside the photobioreactor (in contrast to constant-irradiance methods that have been published so far). In the simulation part, we devised an agent-based model of algae population that enables us to analyze the system behaviour while interactively changing the model parameters. In the context of the results from both the analytic and simulation part, we conclude by suggesting the optimal level of external irradiance.

The aim of the diploma thesis is to determine the market value of the company Metrostav a.s. to the date 1.1.2009. Final market value represents the potential market price for which the owners could sell this company to the date of evaluation. The diploma thesis starts with brief introduction of the company. Afterwards strategic analysis follows which is focused on analysis of profit potential and its result is the prediction of sales in the near future. In financial analysis are examined the financial conditions of the company on the basis of absolute, ratio and global indicators. Financial plan is based on the prediction of sales, which was estimated within strategic analysis. The company is evaluated using two-phase discounted cash flow method in the version of FCFF. The diploma thesis is ended by risk analysis of assessment value of company by using software program Crystal Ball.

Electronic banking in the CR and its possibilities

Bachelor thesis deals with the most commonly used forms of electronic banking, which offers banking institutions in the Czech Republic and abroad. In the theoretical part describes the development elektornického banking and the benefits that this product offers for banking institutions and their clients. The practical part is focused on the controversy with the views of columnist Nicholas G. Carr. His published articles are at work confronted with the views of IT professional community as discretionary author argues that the general benefits of the use of information systems for banks.

Developments in Interior-point methods

Tato bakalářská práce popisuje vývoj metod Interior-point od roku 1984, kdy Karmarkar představil svůj revoluční algoritmus pro lineární programování. Je zde stručně popsáno použití těchto metod v oblastech jako např. lineárního programování, konvexní kvadratické programování, semidefinitní programování, nekonvexní a nelineární úlohy. Dále je zde naznačeno použití těchto metod v oblasti celočíselného programování a její srovnání se simplexovou metodou.
